Gods laws are clear in the Quran and are part of the literal verses as God stated and should not be taken metaphorically but literally. The Quran is for past present and future so your idea of making rules up ourself for this age is not supported by Quran at all.

492 Never should a believer kill a believer; but (If it so happens) by mistake, (Compensation is due) If one (so) kills a believer, it is ordained that he should free a believing slave, and pay compensation to the deceased's family, unless they remit it freely. If the deceased belonged to a people at war with you, and he was a believer, the freeing of a believing slave (Is enough). If he belonged to a people with whom ye have treaty of Mutual alliance, compensation should be paid to his family, and a believing slave be freed. For those who find this beyond their means, (is prescribed) a fast for two months running by way of repentance to Allah. for Allah hath all knowledge and all wisdom.

I respect your opinion and decision but keep developing yourself by reading and studying the Quran. It's not as hard as it is as people will tell you but takes time and I'm still learning )

So don't expect dipolomacy or spining the issues to satisfy my ego. The truth always is bitter but it is good to speak truth. God will be my judge on the day of judgement.

I see you are confusing the words denouncing and renouncing. When someone denounces something they make an accusation. The man who wrote the article said people could leave islam. You said he should be shot for that, i.e. dounouncing islam. If I would have said you said renouncing, i.e. giving up, you would have corrected me. Apparently your command of english is not so sharp.

No, not really. However, it appears people do such things when they have no understanding of what is going on. Clearly Jaxal equates denouncing with renouncing. They are too different words. Renouncing is what he thinks I'm saying, when I said denouncing all along. Goes to show what happens when people do not pay attention and do not make an effort to look up words they do not understand.

I have not said that, altho if i were a sunni, i would have no problem with it. but anyways, what that guy was doing is not denouncing. Perhaps you should choose your words wisely. Lets see what denouncing means

If that editor or jounralist was condemming islam to be evil, then he would be dead right now. You and i both know that. He wasnt accusing it, we know that too. And he wasnt announcing tht he is ending his belief as a muslim ( that is IF he was a muslim in the first place ). What he was doing is in a way preaching to others that it is OK to leave submission to Allah. So you see, it is you who is responsible for your own embarassment. Your fault. Not mine.

I am in agreement with you. There have been many times when he has done the same and then totally refused to accept lack of comprehension. It's an exercise in restraint to be carrying on a discussion in such a situation.
