    Hello Dhul,

It is amazing to find your views and insight on several issues in this forum very disturbing to many.I for one tend to agree with you and in fact found it very rejuvenating on most of your arguments. It starts me thinking and researching what u said on several of them especially the ones that got your posts locked.I wonder if I could equate your experiences to the man Mohamed himself.I believe he must have had a hard time trying to bring reasonable arguments forward to the community of his time only to be jeered and spat at.
I give my hats to you Dhul.

          salam layth,

          you wrote

Simple. Replace most of the history you have been taugh about the prophet by using Baca (Jerusalem) instead of Mecca (Arabia).

The prophet is from the lineage of Abraham and was a native to Jerusalem where he was sen to to the people in answer to Abraham's prayer...Jerusalem would have been under the rule of Rome at this time and the prophet was persicuted by the towns people and then was forced to emmigrate to Yathrib to continue the message.

Yathrib is a place which has never received a prophet and welcommed Mohammed with open arms...

Mohammed and his people faced Jerusalem during Salat for a number of years, until the command came to 'turn away' from the city of peace (hence the Qibla change).

Interesting, but not supported by any evidence? And then why towards Mecca? This supports jaxal notion who seems convinced that Ibrahim built kaaba.

          Surah 42. Councel
          7. Thus have We sent by inspiration to thee an Arabic Qur'an that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and all around her,- and warn (them) of the Day of Assembly, of which there is no doubt (when) some will be in the Garden, and some in the Blazing Fire.

According to Quran it was revealed for the people who understood and spoke Arabic, were the inhabitants of Baca, Arabic speaking? And what about the tribe of Quraish? The Umayyads and the Abbasids? Not to forget the decendents of Fatima and Ali? Even though there is a lot of disagreement amongst all, none of them disagrees about prophets being born in Mecca.
According to all the scholars? ch28 was revealed in Mecca, now is there a possibility that 2847 relates to the people of taif?

Some have argued that Iblees was an Angel who was demoted to the rank of Jinn once he disoboyed...Others have said he was always a Jinn and God is adressing the Angels as they are the highest beings while all lower beings automatically follow/ are implied.
I personally go with the 2nd understanding as being more correct.

So we have a choice, either this or that? but I will also agree with the 2nd one.

What's confusing? Humans were turned into apes and pigs as a punishment...Same as God causing a man to die for 100 years, or the sleepers of the cave for 309 years, or splititng the sea, or raising the dead, or...or...God is able to do all things.

Yes it is our belief that Allah has the power to do all these things, He is omnipotent.
Why is he not turning the transgressors into apes or pigs now? I am skeptical about the details of these verses but will discuss with you some othertime.

They only achieve this by quoting Hadith or twisitng laws out of context...Quoting laws fully would never fool the people no matter how illeterate.

Yes and they are very good at that. now a days they are quoting the verses of ?azaab? to describe the terrible earthquake that has devastated Kashmir and nwfp provinces of Pakistan.
Most of the people are frustrated and do not agree to their interpretation that God has punished them because of their sins, its like adding insults to their injuries lots of debates going on around here on this point of view, again supported by Quranic verses and hadiths of ones own liking and interpreted to suit their own views.
          Take care.
