even the emotions are generated in the brain. the funtion of the heart is just to pump blood.
yea I have been scared hundreds of times in my life, my heart was beating like a drum all these times but my understanding is that the brain releases some sort of chemicals in every different situation that makes our heart beat slow or fast.

Increased & loud, heart rate (palpitations) is due to release of adrenaline to the heart, during times of anxiety/fear.

All the emotions and senses are percieved only by the brain.

But at a unrealistic, non biological level, the heart has long been used as a symbol to refer to the spiritual, emotional, moral, and in the past also intellectual core of a human being.

well I do believe it is not, as far as I believe the faith is in the heart not in the brain as i explained before

you see the prophet didn't need to process, it went straight into his heart as the Quran told us, now that make sense because the prophet was already looking to find God as you know

on the other hand the Quran never denied the brain as the organ of processing, the brain was mentioned numerous times to us as the organ of processing the data then if we process the data and we choose to believe then it is all coming from the heart after the brain has finished its role of processing the data

the Quran actually told us the when we remember Allah, our heart will feel peace

What is the reason for this connection between belief and the human soul and body? The conclusion reached by the secular researcher Benson is, in his own words, that the human body and mind are regulated to believe in Allah.

This fact, which the world of medicine has slowly begun to appreciate, is a secret revealed in the Quran in these words

The reason why those who believe in Allah, who pray to and trust in Him, are psychologically and physically healthier is that they behave in accordance with the purpose of their creation. Philosophies and systems which contradict human creation always lead to pain and unhappiness.

There are two parts to the human persona

Soul (also known as spirit, heart, subconscious, higher self, or just self)
Mind (also known as brain, conscious, lower self)

The mind is illusory. It is not the real "you". It is the part of you that thinks. That's all it does. It thinks, and thinks, and thinks. Any thought that you "hear" is from your mind. And these thoughts are based completely on experience, ie, environment, family, relationships, education, and personal alone-time experiences- nothing abstract, everything is referred. The mind catalogues all these experiences and judges all present experiences based on the results of past experiences. So when we say something is "good" or "bad", it's based on how we've experienced that something previously. In this sense, the mind can only work in the past.

The soul is the real "you". It is the part of you that observes the thoughts. It is the part that "knows", without words. It exists in the present. It is pure, quiet, peace. The soul shines in moments like watching a sunset, or children playing, or the love of your life just staring into your eyes. In those moments, no words are necessary, because you know. Athletes call it "the zone", when they say they weren't thinking, they were just locked in, in perfect harmony. They always describe it as indescribable.

The soul evolves through it's own recognition. It remains stagnant when the mind is allowed to control the ride. Thus, the importance of soul -energizing activities, such as meditation, or art, or sport. When we give control of ourselves to our minds, we become robots, doing the same thing over and over, caught in routines as years fly by.
