    Peace AP

I found it very disgusting and offensive to accuse a noble/preserved scripture like the Quran of being copied from the porno filled humanly corrupt bible, here is a sample of 2000 pages I have, so please stop your propaganda and miselading claims or I will post those pages and the public will see clealy that your bible is damn corrupt

Please show us that 1400+ year old "preserved Koran" that you keep talking about...

I don't need to show it, it is already shown enough, what I have to show is the corruption in the porno filled bible

If you can't show it, then perhaps it is time for you to stop claiming that one exists...

and why you are upset by me claimimg it existed?

Also.....we have to ask; are you into worshiping red cars...?

before I answer, may I ask who is "we" first?

    Us...

now before I answer, may ask who is "Us"?

    is it "me and you"?

    Looks like it.... wink

now the subject has changed from a corrupt bible to a red car lol , well answer the above question first and I will get back to you on that one wink

The subject matter has been changed several times in this thread...you are not the first one to do it...

No worries, here is a subject change

In the following, everyone will see how David was a sick and careless murderer for selectively killing an innocent man for only telling him news about the death of Saul!

Let us carefully read 2 Samuel 4, but before that let us read 1 Samuel 247-9

7 With these words David rebuked his men and did not allow them to attack Saul. And Saul left the cave and went his way.

8 Then David went out of the cave and called out to Saul, "My lord the king!" When Saul looked behind him, David bowed down and prostrated himself with his face to the ground.

9 He said to Saul, "Why do you listen when men say, 'David is bent on harming you'?

Now let's read the short chapter of 1 Samuel 24. Pay close attention to the bolded and underlined parts below

    Ish-Bosheth Murdered

1 When Ish-Bosheth son of Saul heard that Abner had died in Hebron, he lost courage, and all Israel became alarmed.

2 Now Saul's son had two men who were leaders of raiding bands. One was named Baanah and the other Recab; they were sons of Rimmon the Beerothite from the tribe of Benjamin-Beeroth is considered part of Benjamin,

3 because the people of Beeroth fled to Gittaim and have lived there as aliens to this day.

4 (Jonathan son of Saul had a son who was lame in both feet. He was five years old when the news about Saul and Jonathan came from Jezreel. His nurse picked him up and fled, but as she hurried to leave, he fell and became crippled. His name was Mephibosheth.)

5 Now Recab and Baanah, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, set out for the house of Ish-Bosheth, and they arrived there in the heat of the day while he was taking his noonday rest.

6 They went into the inner part of the house as if to get some wheat, and they stabbed him in the stomach. Then Recab and his brother Baanah slipped away.

7 They had gone into the house while he was lying on the bed in his bedroom. After they stabbed and killed him, they cut off his head. Taking it with them, they traveled all night by way of the Arabah.

8 They brought the head of Ish-Bosheth to David at Hebron and said to the king, "Here is the head of Ish-Bosheth son of Saul, your enemy, who tried to take your life. This day the LORD has avenged my lord the king against Saul and his offspring."

9 David answered Recab and his brother Baanah, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, ?As surely as the LORD lives, who has delivered me out of all trouble,?

10 when a man told me, 'Saul is dead,' and thought he was bringing good news, I seized him and put him to death in Ziklag. That was the reward I gave him for his news!

11 How much more-when wicked men have killed an innocent man in his own house and on his own bed-should I not now demand his blood from your hand and rid the earth of you!

12 So David gave an order to his men, and they killed them. They cut off their hands and feet and hung the bodies by the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ish-Bosheth and buried it in Abner's tomb at Hebron.

Few points to notice from the above verses
1- David and Saul became friends once again after the incident inside the cave. Read 1 Samuel 24.

2- David didn't like the idea that two of his men killed Saul's son, Ish-Bosheth. He punished them to death.

3- David SO UNJUSTLY killed an innocent man for only telling him that Saul died! Saul died because of the old animosity between him and David. David's men, not knowing that the two reconciled, killed Saul in the battle, who was fighting against them, and thought they were pleasing David. A messenger from them rushed to tell David about what they thought "the good news," and David decided to unjustly kill the messenger who anyway had nothing to do with the killing of Saul. AND EVEN IF HE DID, THAT STILL WOULDN'T JUSTIFY HIS KILLING!

How fast does your shiny red car go....?

it depends on what you are asking, 0-100, or 1/4 mile or top speed and hence you asked non of these, I have no answer to your question

Is this any reason for it to be used in your book of faith...?

well, as you said, this is the word for God the stone worshipping arabs used. Which means it was part of their language. And the Quran tells them what 'allah' really is. Not introduce them to a new God, but tell them who the true God is.

The Koran merely wraps the previous pagan Arab god "allah" with deity previously ascribed unto Jesus Christ from the Holy Bible.

            This is not being honest.

Nor is it telling anyone who "allah" really is.

There can be only two possibilities

            1. By cloaking "allah" with deity ascribed unto Jesus - this makes Jesus God

            or...

            1. The authors who penned the Koran (while being intimate with the previous scriptures) attempted to cloak a pagan Arab god with Biblical deity and stories, in the hope of duping the unlearned into following something completely and utterly false.

Which one do you think ocurred...?

              Yes.

Much like the word "sun" would have been thought to be some smallish thing as big as the moon and at the same distance at one point in time.

When the truth comes along it is not going to necessarily change the word but rather the understanding of that word. So the sun is the most massive body in the solar system situated many millions of mile more distant than the moon.

The word Allah simply means 'the God' and is not a name but rather a generic term for the single creator of existence as we can know it.

You really do need to brush-up on the god that you worship.

                Here is the classical definition?

                = ?allahu?

                ?allahu? definition

Written with the disjunctive alif, meaning God, i.e. the only true god, according to the most correct of the opinions respecting it. It is a proper name to the Being who exists necessarily, by Himself, comprising all of the attributes of perfection; a proper name denoting the true god (TA), comprising all the excellent divine names; a unity comprising all of the essences of existing things; the ?al? being inseparable from it; not derived. It comes from the root ?ilaha?, which means he served, worshipped, or adored; to adore, worship, deify any one, call any one god. He was, or became, confounded, or perplexed, and unable to see his right course. An object of worship or adoration; i.e. a god, a deity; anything that is taken as an object of worship or adoration, according to him that takes it as such. It signifies the goddess; and particularly the serpent; because it was a special object of worship of some of the ancient Arabs; or the great serpent; and the new moon.

                References
                An Arabic-English Lexicon, E.W. Lane, volume one, pp. 82 - 83
The Dictionary of the Holy Qur?an, 1st edition, Abdul Mannan Omar, pp. 28 - 29

                The implications?

? Observe the revealing definition for ?allah?, that is given by Lane...?i.e. the only true god?
? Lane is referencing a very specific example in his definition by his illustrated example (i.e.)
? It is abundantly clear that he is referencing a ?god? (lower case) to represent the ?allah? of the Koran
? To re-enforce the fact that the ?allah? of the Koran is no more than a ?god?, and to erase any notion of error, Lane repeats his very same remarks a few lines farther down in his lexical definition for ?allah?, by referencing a separate entry ? this time from the legendary ?Ta?j el-?Aroos? (TA)
? (TA ?a proper name denoting the true god, comprising all the excellent divine names; a unity comprising all the essence of existing things?
? Further, ?allah? is derived from the root ?ilaha?, which means ?he was, or became, confounded, or perplexed, and unable to see his right course?
? This would hardly seem a logical definition for true deity
? ?ilaha? also means ?an object of worship or adoration; i.e. a god, a deity; anything that is taken as an object of worship or adoration, according to him who takes it as such??which signifies idolatry as mentioned in Revelation
? ?ilaha? also signifies the goddess; and particularly the serpent; because it was a special object of worship of some of the ancient Arabs; or the great serpent; and the new moon

Thus...."allah" in the Koran is not "the God"....but rather a pagan Arab god doctored-up to fool the unlearned...

                There can be no doubt.

Put some effort into your salvation.... roll

                      Peace Apple pie,

Put some effort into your salvation.... roll

Put some effort into ur research.
Dont see what is shown to u, but seek for urself.

Ur posts show quite clearly that u have no idea what muslims believe in.

All u seem to be doing is trying ur best to paint a false picture.(well, I dont blame u. It appears u have been spoon fed with false information). Anyways, This isnt about christianity vs Islam. Its about truth, and one's understanding of it.

Well u see, U r clearly wasting ur time.
Most of us here seek truth and understanding for ourselves.
And we dont have blind beliefs. So, these false tactics wont work with us.

Here's what we believe in short
-we believe in one supreme God, who has no form or shape.

                      • we believe in righteousness as our requirement of living our religion.

Here's a suggestion for u For a period, I'd suggest u let go of ur faith & its teachings, and live life contemplating on life and our creator. Just let go of all those things that u have been taught and preached, and just live, observe and contemplate.
U will find the answers for urself, during and after .Unless u r too scared to do that.
And then believe in what u understand and realise. Life gives u the truth, the answers. Just look for it in silence.

''Believe nothing on the faith of traditions,
even though they have been held in honor
for many generations and in diverse places.
Do not believe a thing because many people speak of it.
Do not believe on the faith of the sages of the past.
Do not believe what you yourself have imagined,
persuading yourself that a God inspires you.
Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests.
After examination, believe what you yourself have tested
and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.''

I would ask how you came to that conclusion, but, i'm just going to tell you that its not about what the quran says. Its about our understanding of God and the truth. It doesn't matter if the quran is right or wrong. It served its purpose as a guide for a lot of us (including me) and now i know that i'm on the right track.

Are you willing to base your eternal salvation on something that may be "right or wrong"...?

Eternity is a long time to be wrong.

                            peace AP,

its not me that's wrong. I'm right. If i follow what the quran says, then it has to be right. It has to make sense. So maybe you're right, that there is no such thing as "Allah." But there is a God. And there is such a thing as truth based on the creation of that God. As opposed to Belief based on a religious book.

I think Apple Pie is wrestling with concepts he has no real experience with. Perhaps he isn't aware that Arab Christians also pray to "Allah".

Perhaps an analogy may help. There are many incorrect views about Jesus also. Some say he is man and god, others say he is just the son of god, others say he is neither; some believe Jesus is a figment of the imagination and there is no good evidence for him at all.

So what is the correct concept of Jesus if you take all these views?

The correct concept of the God is that He exists and is singular. Anything else is a word game.

                              Regards.

                                Hi Apple pie,

Are you willing to base your eternal salvation on something that may be "right or wrong"...?

Eternity is a long time to be wrong.

Again these scare tactics wont work, Apple pie.

We are not those who would follow blind beliefs and faith out of irrational fear.
We follow what we understand as true.

U should let go off the fear u seem to hold so close, and seek answers for urself, fearlessly.

And just for ur info, this is what muslims in general believe, about life on earth and eternity

Regarding the position of man in relation to the Universe, the Quran says

"God has made subservient to you whatever is on the earth or in universe. You are destined to rule over the Universe."

But in relation to God, the Quran says

"O man God has bestowed on you excellent faculties and has created life and death to put you to test in order to see whose actions are good and who has deviated from the right path."

In spite of free will which he enjoys, to some extent, every man is born under certain circumstances and continues to live under certain circumstances beyond his control. With regard to this God says, according to Islam, it is my will to create any man under condition that seem best to me. cosmic plans finite mortals can not fully comprehend.

But I will certainly test you in prosperity as well in adversity, in health as well as in sickness, in heights as well as in depths. My ways of testing differ from man to man, from hour to hour. In adversity do not despair and do resort to unlawful means. It is but a passing phase. In prosperity do not forget God. God-gifts are given only as trusts. You are always on trial, every moment on test. In this sphere of life there is not to reason why, there is but to do and die. If you live in accordance with God; and if you die, die in the path of God. You may call it fatalism. but this type of fatalism is a condition of vigorous increasing effort, keeping you ever on the alert.

Do not consider this temporal life on earth as the end of human existence. There is a life after death and it is eternal. Life after death is only a connection link, a door that opens up hidden reality of life. Every action in life however insignificant, produces a lasting effect. It is correctly recorded somehow. Some of the ways of God are known to you, but many of his ways are hidden from you. What is hidden in you and from you in this world will be unrolled and laid open before you in the next. the virtuous will enjoy the blessing of God which the eye has not seen, nor has the ear heard, nor has it entered into the hearts of men to conceive of they will march onward reaching higher and higher stages of evolution.

Those who have wasted opportunity in this life shall under the inevitable law, which makes every man taste of what he has done, be subjugated to a course of treatment of the spiritual diseases which they have brought about with their own hands. Beware, it is terrible ordeal. Bodily pain is torture, you can bear somehow. Spiritual pain is hell, you will find it almost unbearable. Fight in this life itself the tendencies of the spirit prone to evil, tempting to lead you into iniquities ways.

Reach the next stage when the self-accusing sprit in your conscience is awakened and the soul is anxious to attain moral excellence and revolt against disobedience. This will lead you to the final stage of the soul at rest, contented with God, finding its happiness and delight in him alone. The soul no more stumbles. The stage of struggle passes away.

Truth is victorious and falsehood lays down its arms. All complexes will then be resolved. Your house will not be divided against itself. Your personality will get integrated round the central core of submission to the will of God and complete surrender to his divine purpose. All hidden energies will then be released. The soul then will have peace.God will then address you

"O thou soul that art at rest, and restest fully contented with thy Lord return to thy Lord. He pleased with thee and thou pleased with him; So enter among my servants and enter into my paradise."

This is the final goal for man; to become, on the, one hand, the master of the universe and on the other, to see that his soul finds rest in his Lord, that not only his Lord will be pleased with him but that he is also pleased with his Lord. Contentment, complete contentment, satisfaction, complete satisfaction, peace, complete peace. The love of God is his food at this stage and he drinks deep at the fountain of life. Sorrow and defeat do not overwhelm him and success does not find him in vain and exulting.

                                Peace!

                                    Peace Apple pie,

Put some effort into your salvation.... roll

Put some effort into ur research.
Dont see what is shown to u, but seek for urself.

                                    Done.

Ur posts show quite clearly that u have no idea what muslims believe in.

What matters is what is stated in the book of faith of Muslims - which is 99% Biblical material.

How Islam interperprets their Biblical origins is a secondary event.

All u seem to be doing is trying ur best to paint a false picture.(well, I dont blame u. It appears u have been spoon fed with false information).

My position is based upon firm research, of which, even the "learned" in this forum are completely unable to refute.

Anyways, This isnt about christianity vs Islam. Its about truth, and one's understanding of it.

Who ever said that it was....?

Well u see, U r clearly wasting ur time.

                                    Not at all...

Most of us here seek truth and understanding for ourselves.

Is this before, after, or during a session of Cat Stevens....

And we dont have blind beliefs. So, these false tactics wont work with us.

Your beliefs should be fully verifiable in the classic Arabic of your book of faith.

                                    Are they...?

Here's what we believe in short
-we believe in one supreme God, who has no form or shape.

                                    • we believe in righteousness as our requirement of living our religion.

Where is this stated in your book of faith?

Here's a suggestion for u For a period, I'd suggest u let go of ur faith & its teachings, and live life contemplating on life and our creator. Just let go of all those things that u have been taught and preached, and just live, observe and contemplate.
U will find the answers for urself, during and after .Unless u r too scared to do that.
And then believe in what u understand and realise. Life gives u the truth, the answers. Just look for it in silence.

                                    Done.

Believe nothing on the sole authority of your masters and priests.
After examination, believe what you yourself have tested
and found to be reasonable, and conform your conduct thereto.''
