The worker bees create enzymes in their bodies which they fuse with the flowers' nectar which then turns into honey. So technically, at least half of the honey does come from the "bellies" of the worker bees.
JK- Eaxctly so the honey, which is a result of the chemical reaction which takes place btw enzymes of the bee and the nectar, does come from the belly. It is produced there. Both nectar and enzymes mix in the belly. The Quran is not talking about the chemicals or ingredients required for honey and where they come from but where the honey comes from and that is accurate. Claims like these have been used by atheists to twist what is being implied and thus ridiculously claim the Quran to be unscientific. GOD Bless!

I'm not sure how many times "The Quran is not a science text book" has appeared in this thread. It would be wonderful however if people would refrain from posting this over and over, not least because that's not what was ever in question.
What does seem to be in question though is the accuracy of certain scientific facts in the Quran. So far, it would appear that that accuracy is still "intact".

I could not understand an earlier query you raised, you said if the word "bellies" appear in the Arabic verse, then the verse would not be accurate?
can you please elaborate for me?, I looked at the arabic verse word by word and I found it very accurate, forget science, let's just talk simple terms as a starter

Yeah sorry it was a little vague. What I meant was that, IF the honey didn't come from the bellies of the bees, AND the word "bellies" is the correct translation of the arabic, THEN there would be serious problems with the Quran's authenticity. ?

yeh it makes sense now lol
the arabic word is 100% bellies, but the other important arabic word that must be taken into account is "Yakhrog" which means "proceeding from" or "coming out from", that is why, regardless the bee's share of producing the honey, I take it as 50% as you stated and the other 50% comes from the flower, yet 100% of the final product comes out of the belly of the bee, therefore the verse is 100% accurate

there is another very important key words in th arabic verse 1669, the words are "", " " and " " and they mean as follow
"", an order to eat BUT ONLY DIRECTED TO A FEMALE BECASE OF THE Ya at the end
" ", an order to move in a direction and IS ALSO DIRECTED TO A FEMALE BECAUSE OF THE Ya at the end
" ", means Bellies and is plural for FEMALES ONLY BECAUSE od the Haa at the end
Therefore, it seems only female bees produce the honey, is this really true?
