    PEACE ALL,

just read this nice piece; worth of sharing.

WHEN EGO TAKES A STEP ASIDE
SHE WILL NOT IDENIFY HERSELF WITH HER NAME. NOT ANYMORE!

SHE IS NOW WHAT SHE DREAMS FOR.

SHE IS THAT, WHICH IS FULL OF COMPASSION, SOMETIMES JOYFULL OF BEAUTY AND HAPPINESS AND SOMETIMES SAD IN SYMAPTHY WITH OTHERS.

HER PEACE IS NOT AFFECTED BY PAIN OR PLEASURE, THAT SHE KNOWS THEM AS THE SOURCES OF SUFFERING. VANITIES OF EGO. FEAR OF PAIN AND HOPE FOR PLEASURE.

SHE HAS LEFT THE COMFORT AND SUFFERING ZONES.

SHE IS THE CHANGER OF THE CHANGEABLE!

SHE IS THE SERVANT OF THE MAKER!

SHE HAS REALIZED THAT SHE HAS NO NAME!

HER ONLY IDENTITY IS BEING THE SMALL REFLECTION OF THE MOST COMPASSIONATE!

    peace,

      Peace all,
And the wise man (Inayat Khan) said

The question arises what is the manner of opening the heart? The way to it is a natural life, the life of the child, smiling with the smiling one, praying with the praying one, ready to learn from everyone, ready to love. The child has enmity against no one, he has no hatred, no malice, his heart is open. It is in the child that you can see the smiles of angels; he can see through life.

When the grown-up person is made ready, when he has acquired the attributes of the child, then he creates heaven within himself, he understands. The child with his innocence does not understand, but when a man with understanding develops the childlike loving tendency, the purity of heart of the child with the desire to be friendly to all -- that is the opening of the heart, and it is by that blessing that he can receive all the privileges of human life.

      peace

        Peace,

I loved your post about love, especially

"If you are loved by GOD, your fear will become AWE and there remains only love.
LOVE will become the source of your Compassion, justice, creativity and all.
You will illuminate and your LOVE for HIM and all that he created will gorw by the day to MANIFEST HIS PLAN OF MANIFESTATION."

So that's why I'm not afraid of God, afraid of hell yes, but God, naw, only awe!

Keep the lovin' comin'! Maybe by now my loving ways have annoyed all the ones who will be quick to reprimand me for being so emotional, so willing to find ways to give to the less fortunate and so confused about the notion of fearing God. -*

        Peace and love,

          Peace upon your heart lillyfleur;

I was reading your story in another thread of the explosion of your tears while reading the holy book!
That is not being emotional at all my friend. That is bliss. That is when GOD touches the human heart!

That is the taste of LOVE! It is the green light! Olive green! That is the colour of heart!

Tha happens when the hearts innocence (blue light) gets pregnant with higher SELF (Golden light)!

In those tears the consciousnes arrives within innocence and LOVE starts to flow! Every time that those spontaneouse tears come, angels are crying with you! The higher SELF gets awakend and one remembers!

Those tears are the elexir of eternal life. Cherish it dearly! That is one of the highest secrets of the path that one can be gifted with.

Those tears opens the window of intuition from which GOD talks to us! and they purify the unconsciousness! Those tears gives acces to spiritual power!

Love to have you among us

            Peace all,

            From

THEN a priestess said, Speak to us of Prayer.
            And he answered, saying
You pray in your distress and in your
need; would that you might pray also in
the fullness of your joy and in your days
            of abundance.
For what is prayer but the expansion of
            yourself into the living ether?
And if it is for your comfort to pour
your darkness into space, it is also for your
delight to pour forth the dawning of your
            heart.
And if you cannot but weep when your
soul summons you to prayer, she should spur
you again and yet again, though weeping,
            until you shall come laughing.
When you pray you rise to meet in the
air those who are praying at that very hour,
and whom save in prayer you may not
            meet.
Therefore let your visit to that temple in-
visible be for naught but ecstasy and sweet
            communion.
For if you should enter the temple for no
other purpose than asking you shall not
            receive.
And if you should enter into it to humble
yourself you shall not be lifted
Or even if you should enter into it to
beg for the good of others you shall not be
            heard.
It is enough that you enter the temple
            invisible.
I cannot teach you how to pray in words.
God listens not to your words save when
He Himself utters them through your lips.
And I cannot teach you the prayer of the
seas and the forests and the mountains.
But you who are born of the mountains
and the forests and the seas can find their
            prayer in your heart,
And if you but listen in the stillness of the
night you shall hear them saying in silence,
"Our God, who art our winged self, it
is thy will in us that willeth.
It is thy desire in us that desireth.
It is thy urge in us that would turn our
nights, which are thine, into days which are
            thine also.
We cannot ask thee for aught, for thou
knowest our needs before they are born in us
Thou art our need; and in giving us more
of thyself thou givest us all."

              Peace all,

The wise man (Inayat khan ) said

You cannot be both horse and rider at the same time.

The ego has two sides the first one is the one we know, and the next one we must discover. The side we know is the false ego which makes us say, 'I'. What is it in us that we call 'I'? We say, 'This is my body, my mind, these are my thoughts, my feelings, my impressions, this is my position in life.' We identify our self with all that concerns us and the sum total of all these we call 'I'. In the light of truth this conception is false, it is a false identity.

By reasoning with oneself and by trying to study oneself analytically it is possible to get nearer to the true knowledge of one's being. If we consider that every part that constitutes our being has its own name -- the hand, the foot, every part of our being has a different name, quality and purpose, and even a separate form -- what is it then in man which says 'I' and identifies itself with what it sees? It is not our head, hand or foot which says 'I' nor is it the brain. It is something that we cannot point out which identifies itself with all these different parts and says 'I' and mine and knows itself to be the person who sees. This in itself is ignorance, and it is this which the Hindus have called avidya.

How can you be that which you possess? You cannot be the horse and rider at the same time, nor can you be carpenter and tool at the same time. Herein lies the secret of mortality and immortality.

What has taken possession of this accommodation? A deluded ego that says, 'I.' It is deluded by this body and mind and it has called itself an individual. When a man has a ragged coat he says, 'I am poor'. In reality his coat is poor, not he. What this capacity or accommodation contains is that which becomes his knowledge, his realization, and it is that which limits him. It forms that limitation which is the tragedy of every soul.

Now, this capacity may be filled with self, or it may be filled with God. There is only room for one. Either we live with our limitation, or we let God reign there in His unlimited Being.

              peace

                  Peace Ishrind, peace all,

                  The wise wrote

                  I Am Not My Thoughts

One of the more important obstacles to our spiritual development, and also to happiness, consists of our identification with thoughts. We believe our thoughts. We believe in our thoughts. We believe our thoughts represent or embody who we are. We spend too much of our time living in the stream of our automatic, associative thoughts, like fish living in water. When a thought passes through our mind, we assume that the thought is the voice of our true, secret self. This inner voice, hidden from the world, serves as our home, our refuge, our truth. This inner voice of thought expresses our ongoing commentary on our life, our plans, dreams, and fears.

But like TV and radio, our inner voice lulls us into a programmed, autopilot mode that paints us as a character we play unawares, not noticing the inner voice as a voice or our thoughts as thoughts. If we do notice a thought, then we tacitly assume that it is what ?I? think.

However, our I goes much deeper than thought. Our thoughts nearly always arise on their own, in reaction to some stimulus or to another thought, without the participation of our I, and thus without our intention. Consequently, our thoughts hardly ever reflect what ?I? think, but rather indicate our conditioned, habitual patterns and reactions to the world. We believe these familiar habits of thought are who we are, our deepest self. But they are not. Thoughts are only surface phenomena, like waves on the ocean.

Who am I when my thoughts stop, or in the gaps between thoughts?

Notice your thoughts. As you begin to see your thoughts as thoughts, you may also start to notice the you that is aware of your thoughts. That aspect of you that sees your thoughts is not just another thought.

Practice thought awareness several times each day simply watching your thoughts, seeing them as just thoughts rather than being caught by their meaning, observing the thoughts come and go, not being lost in the story they tell, not succumbing to their seductive whispers, shifting from content-enthralled to process-aware. And when the opportunity arrives, notice the gaps between thoughts.

                  peace

                    Peace all

                    The poet wrote

                    Nothing is Mine

                    Us, vapors. Us, distilled!
                    There no longer are edges
                    nor walls to this loving,
                    only openness here.

                    This mouth, yours.
                    This hair, yours.
                    This breath, yours.
                    These hands, yours.

                    Every part, yours!
                    After a long folding in
                    the glory of nothingness,
a lover says with eyes shut

"all that is seen in this,
                    maneuvers beyond us.
                    Many more are gathered
                    till we become one space,

                    we welcome the grace
                    in His sanctified Name."
                    No more deluding here!
                    Motions from sun to newborns

all free in one circular growth,
                    all breathing atoms joining in;
water, fire, air, earth, soul ...
                    Their particles, each, reciting

                    "la ilaha illa Allah"
                    in chorus everywhere!
                    Just open your third ear
                    my friend

                    and never stand outside
                    that divine symphony
come in, jump in, bring in
                    your unique glow, participate!

                    Know that your soul exists
                    constantly bowing to God.

                      peace,

                      The wise wrote,

The bubbles are to be found on the surface of the sea. The depth of the sea is free from bubbles. The commotion is to be seen on the surface, the depth of the sea is still. The mind is the commotion of that something that is within us, that something which we call heart. The happiness, knowledge, pleasure and love that is stored in our innermost being is in our profound depth. Changing emotions and passions, dreams, ever-rising thoughts and imaginations, all belong to the surface, as the bubbles belong to the surface of the sea.

To attain peace, what one has to do is to seek that rhythm which is in the depth of our being. It is just like the sea the surface of the sea is ever moving; the depth of the sea is still. And so it is with our life. If our life is thrown into the sea of activity, it is on the surface. We still live in the profound depths, in that peace. But the thing is to become conscious of that peace which can be found within ourselves. It is this which can bring us the answer to all our problems. If not, when we want to solve one problem, there is another difficult problem coming. There is no end to our problems. There is no end to the difficulties of the outer life. And if we get excited over them, we shall never be able to solve them. Some think, 'We might wait. Perhaps the conditions will become better. We shall see then what to do.' But when will the conditions become better? They will become still worse! Whether the conditions become better or worse, the first thing is to seek the kingdom of God within ourselves, in which there is our peace. As soon as we have found that, we have found our support, we have found our self. And in spite of all the activity and movement on the surface, we shall be able to keep that peace undisturbed if only we hold it fast by becoming conscious of it.

                      peace
