Conclusive proof: THE QUR'AAN IS THE WORD OF ALLAH
-
THE AMAZING QUR'AAN THE WORD OF ALLAH
Allah advises us to use our minds and reason and knowledge to find the truth and not to follow our desires
1024 It is such that We clarify the revelations to a people who think (yatafakkaroona).
3028 It is such that We clarify the revelations for a people who have sense (ya'aqiloona).
3029 No, those who were wrong followed their desires without knowledge. So who can guide one whom God misguides? And they will have no victors. He also advises us not to follow/cause to follow what we have no knowledge of
1736 And do not follow/cause to follow what you have no knowledge of. For the hearing, eyesight, and mind, all these you are responsible for.
In the case of whether the qur'aan is the word of Allah or not, we need to do the same use our mind, reason, and knowledge to find the truth.
The qur'aan is an amazing book full of amazing signs. To find out who authored the qur'aan, we have to take a look at the contents of the book. Let us consider some facts and aspects of the qur'aan
- THE QUR'AAN SAYS ALLAH AUTHORED IT
Allah clearly says that the qur'aan is from Him in the qur'aan, thus claiming authorship of the book
4105 We have revealed to you the Scripture with truth that you may judge between the people by that which God has shown you, and do not be an advocate for the treacherous.
619 Say "Which is the greatest testimony?" Say "God is witness between me and you, and He has inspired to me this Quran that I may warn you with it and whomever it reaches, that you bear witness that along with God are other gods!" Say "I do not bear witness!" Say "He is only One god, and I am innocent of what you set up!"
276 And you are receiving the Quran from One who is Wise, Knowledgeable.
7623 We have sent down to you the Quran in stages.
1037 This Quran could not have been produced without God, but it is to authenticate what is already present, and to give detail to the Scripture in which there is no doubt, from the Lord of the worlds.
1587 And We have given you seven of the pairs and the great Quran.
1015 And when Our clear revelations are recited to them, those who do not wish to meet Us said "Bring a Quran other than this, or change it!" Say "It is not for me to change it from my own accord, I merely follow what is inspired to me. I fear if I disobey my Lord the retribution of a great day!"
123 We relate to you the best stories through what We have inspired to you in this Quran; and before it you were of those who were unaware.
1782 And We send down from the Quran what is a healing and mercy to the believers. And it only increases the wicked in their loss.
1827 And recite what has been inspired to you from your Lord's Scripture, there is no changing His words, and you will not find besides Him any refuge.
3531 And what We inspired to you from the Scripture, it is the truth, authenticating what is present. God is Expert of His servants, Seer.
2951 Is it not enough for them that We have sent down to you the Scripture, being recited to them? In that is a mercy and a reminder for people who believe.
1644 With clarity and the Psalms. And We sent down to you the Reminder to make clear to the people what was sent to them, and perhaps they will think.
2150 And this is a blessed reminder which We have sent down. Will you be deniers of it?
Now the question is, if the qur'aan is not the word of Allah, and instead it is the word of a man or group of men or jinn or malaika, then how come in 1400 years no one has come forward claiming to be the author of such an amazing book ?
- QUR'AAN'S MESSAGE NOT CORRUPTED
One of the miraculous aspects of the qur'aan is that its message has not been corrupted at all in 1400 years and has been preserved in the original language
159 Indeed it is We who have sent down the Reminder, and indeed it is We who will preserve it.
- QUR'AAN REVEALED IN COMMON MAN'S LANGUAGE
Another amazing aspect of the qur'aan is that Allah revealed it in the Arabic language which at that time was the language of the common people and not the elite in power.
122 We have sent it down an Arabic compilation, perhaps you will comprehend.
427 And thus We have inspired to you an Arabic compilation, so that you may warn the capital town and all around it, and to warn about the Day of Gathering that is inevitable.
That is amazing, that a book of such high quality and containing amazing information was not sent down in the developed language of its time, which was the language of the elite and the ones in power (the Nabatean language) but in a developing language spoken by the common man which was used for common day to day matters. That itself is one of the proofs of the qur'aan's divine origin
16103 And We are aware that they Say "A human is teaching him." The language of the one they refer to is foreign, while this is a clear Arabic language.
4331 And they said "If only this Quran was sent down to a great man from the two towns!"
- LITERARY QUALITY OF THE QUR'AAN
It is a well known fact that the arabic qur'aan is a book of literary excellence. Many scholars worldwide, including non-muslims as well, regard the qur'aan to be of superior quality in language, style, eloquence etc.
The following is what some of the scholars had to say about the qur'aan's literary excellence
"The above observation makes the hypothesis advanced by those who see Muhammad as the author of the Qur'an untenable. How could a man, from being illiterate, become the most important author, in terms of literary merits, in the whole of Arabic literature? How could he then pronounce truths of a scientific nature that no other human being could possibly have developed at that time, and all this without once making the slightest error in his pronouncement on the subject?" --Maurice Bucaille, THE BIBLE, THE QUR'AN AND SCIENCE, 1978, p. 125.
"Here, therefore, its merits as a literary production should perhaps not be measured by some preconceived maxims of subjective and aesthetic taste, but by the effects which it produced in Muhammad's contemporaries and fellow countrymen. If it spoke so powerfully and convincingly to the hearts of his hearers as to weld hitherto centrifugal and antagonistic elements into one compact and well-organized body, animated by ideas far beyond those which had until now ruled the Arabian mind, then its eloquence was perfect, simply because it created a civilized nation out of savage tribes, and shot a fresh woof into the old warp of history." --Dr. Steingass, quoted in T.P. Hughes' DICTIONARY OF ISLAM, p. 528.
"In making the present attempt to improve on the performance of my predecessors, and to produce something which might be accepted as echoing however faintly the sublime rhetoric of the Arabic Koran, I have been at pains to study the intricate and richly varied rhythms which - apart from the message itself - constitute the Koran's undeniable claim to rank amongst the greatest literary masterpieces of mankind... This very characteristic feature - 'that inimitable symphony,' as the believing Pickthall described his Holy Book, 'the very sounds of which move men to tears and ecstasy' - has been almost totally ignored by previous translators; it is therefore not surprising that what they have wrought sounds dull and flat indeed in comparison with the splendidly decorated original." --Arthur J. Arberry, THE KORAN INTERPRETED, London Oxford University Press, 1964, p. x.
?It is by far the finest work of Arabic prose in existence.? -- Alan Jones (The Oriental Institute, Oxford)
- SCIENTIFIC FACTS IN THE QUR'AAN
The qur'aan contains a lot of scientific facts that have never contradicted the proven scientific facts and have never been proven incorrect. It contains some scientific facts that were revealed in it 1400 years ago which have been discovered or proven to be correct only recently. How can someone 1400 years ago mention numerous scientific facts, which are very radical for the time, but prove to be correct over 1400 years after ? No human being is capable of such a feat.
For further information one can read the book by Maurice Bucaille "The Bible, The Koran and Science", and check the following links for articles on the amazing scientific facts contained in the qur'aan, some of which have been discovered in just the last 50 years
http//asadi.95mb.com/koranfiles/
http//rationalreality.50webs.com/sci.htm
http//rationalreality.50webs.com/bio.htm- LACK OF A SINGLE CONTRADICTION
The qur'aan does not contain any literary, logical, scientific or any kind of contradiction in it which is extremely amazing. It has a lot of scientific facts, none of which contradict the known proven scientific facts. It has no contradictions of logic, examples of which can be seen at the following links
http//rationalreality.50webs.com/godel.htm
http//free-minds.org/articles/gods_system/freechoice.htm- PROPHECIES THAT HAVE COME TRUE
The qur'aan foretells some events in the future that have come true; these are more commonly known as ?prophecies?.
One of the famous prophecies is that Prophet Muhammad's uncle Abu Lahab would be condemned to Hell
1111 Condemned is the hand of Abu-Lahab; condemned indeed.
1112 His money will not avail him, nor what he has earned.
1113 He will be sent to a flaming Fire.Abu Lahab supposedly lived for 11 years after the revelation of this verse. All he had to do to prove this verse wrong was to repent and become a submitter/believer but he did not do so.
Some of the other prohecies in the qur'aan which have come true are
-
The qur'aan's message will remain preserved and intact over time (159)
-
No one will be able to find any contradictions or discrepancies in the qur'aan (482)
-
Defeat of the Romans (302-4)
For details about other prophecies of the qur'aan please check out brother Wakas's article at the following link, which also contains details about the scientific facts in qur'aan and the literary quality of the qur'aan

- CHALLENGE BY ALLAH TO BRING A QUR'AAN LIKE IT
Allah has challenged all creation to bring a qur'aan like it, or even a chapter like it. The smallest chapter in the qur'aan comprises of 3 verses only, and so far no one in 1400 years has been able to meet that challenge
1788 Say "If all the humans and the Jinn were to gather to bring a Quran like this, they could not come with its like, even if they were helping one another."
223 And if you are in doubt as to what We have sent down to Our servant, then bring a chapter like this, and call upon your witnesses other than God if you are truthful.
1038 Or do they say he invented it? Say "Then bring a chapter like it, and call upon whoever you can besides God if you are truthful!"
1113 Or do they Say "He invented it!" Say "Bring ten invented chapters like it, and call on whom you can besides God if you are truthful."
- PROBABILITY ASSESSMENT
The probability of each of the above mentioned aspects of the qur'aan to have happened by chance is remote, about 1 in a billion, and the combined probability of ALL those aspects to have happened by chance alone is so remote that it is almost zero.
- THE QUR'AAN CAN ONLY BE THE WORD OF ALLAH
When we use our minds, reason, and knowledge and think and reflect on all these amazing aspects of the qur'aan, the inescapable conclusion we arrive at is that the qur'aan can only be the word of Allah and it is impossible for it to be the word of anyone other than Allah.
Thus it becomes very easy for us to believe that ALL of the qur'aan is from Allah
37 He is the One who sent down to you the Scripture, from which there are governing verses; they are the essence of the Scripture; and others which are similar. As for those who have disease in their hearts, they will follow what is similar from it seeking to confuse, and seeking to derive an interpretation. But none know its interpretation except God and those who are well founded in knowledge, they Say "We believe in it, all is from our Lord." And none will remember except the people of understanding.

Peace Tanveer,
As I undersatnd
Believing in Quran IS Pure NOS-SENSE. Believing in its message is GRAND and having FAITH in its message is DIVINE.Prophet Mohammad in his time was called walking Quran. Not that he was a person who talked a lot, but that he was the reflection of the message in his behavior.
Quran is like a music instrument. WE are not asked to love this flute . We are told to love the music that it plays and . It is about the divine symphony which the whole existence plays its rythm.
All scriptures are different type of music instruments that played the same music with different accords. You do not need any scientific proof. Or code 19 or other intellectual tricks to absorb the people to read Quran. I was myself attracted to Quran after the candle of faith was granted to me.
Trying to prove that Quran is the word of GOD by fancy proofs, will not lead other to read it and even if they do read it, they will not be able to grasp the depths of it , so either they get repelled from it or they will live in doubt with all the things tht they do not understand.
As Quran says
This is the Scripture in which there is no doubt, a guide for the righteous.
Only righteous can be attracted and guided by Quran. And he will only be attracted to Quran through hearing the message and seeing the message in the behavioer of those graced by Faith.
Let?s propagate the message of Quran instead
1- The existence is purposeful and is headed toward the point where it came from HIS ALMIGHTY.
2- We are responsible for our actions. We will evolve into a higher existence in the future when the whole existence goes through a tremendous recreation, and the quality of that higher existence depends on our actions in this life.
3- Believe that you are given from the soul of GOD and you are here for a purpose. That purpose is to help the existence and humanity in its evolutionary journey toward the UNLIMITED.
4- Purify your soul during this precious opportunity of life time.
5- Be Compassionate, Forgiving and Just toward other souls.
6- ??????????????????????..peace,
-
Peace, tanveermd,
With all due respect, refutations to your points above are abundant.
In the end all you can prove conclusively is that some have faith that the Quran is a revelation from God, and some do not. This is because those of both views interpret the text through the lense of their belief Those who reject the Quran see obvious problems with your points above and those who embrace the Quran find ways around those problems.

This morning there was a knock at my door. When I answered the door I found a well groomed, nicely dressed couple. The man spoke first
John "Hi! I'm John, and this is Mary."
Mary "Hi! We're here to invite you to come kiss Hank's ass with us."
Me "Pardon me?! What are you talking about? Who's Hank, and why would I want to kiss His ass?"
John "If you kiss Hank's ass, He'll give you a million dollars; and if you don't, He'll kick the shit out of you."
Me "What? Is this some sort of bizarre mob shake-down?"
John "Hank is a billionaire philanthropist. Hank built this town. Hank owns this town. He can do whatever He wants, and what He wants is to give you a million dollars, but He can't until you kiss His ass."
Me "That doesn't make any sense. Why..."
Mary "Who are you to question Hank's gift? Don't you want a million dollars? Isn't it worth a little kiss on the ass?"
Me "Well maybe, if it's legit, but..."
John "Then come kiss Hank's ass with us."
Me "Do you kiss Hank's ass often?"
Mary "Oh yes, all the time..."
Me "And has He given you a million dollars?"
John "Well no. You don't actually get the money until you leave town."
Me "So why don't you just leave town now?"
Mary "You can't leave until Hank tells you to, or you don't get the money, and He kicks the shit out of you."
Me "Do you know anyone who kissed Hank's ass, left town, and got the million dollars?"
John "My mother kissed Hank's ass for years. She left town last year, and I'm sure she got the money."
Me "Haven't you talked to her since then?"
John "Of course not, Hank doesn't allow it."
Me "So what makes you think He'll actually give you the money if you've never talked to anyone who got the money?"
Mary "Well, He gives you a little bit before you leave. Maybe you'll get a raise, maybe you'll win a small lotto, maybe you'll just find a twenty-dollar bill on the street."
Me "What's that got to do with Hank?"
John "Hank has certain 'connections.'"
Me "I'm sorry, but this sounds like some sort of bizarre con game."
John "But it's a million dollars, can you really take the chance? And remember, if you don't kiss Hank's ass He'll kick the shit out of you."
Me "Maybe if I could see Hank, talk to Him, get the details straight from Him..."
Mary "No one sees Hank, no one talks to Hank."
Me "Then how do you kiss His ass?"
John "Sometimes we just blow Him a kiss, and think of His ass. Other times we kiss Karl's ass, and he passes it on."
Me "Who's Karl?"
Mary "A friend of ours. He's the one who taught us all about kissing Hank's ass. All we had to do was take him out to dinner a few times."
Me "And you just took his word for it when he said there was a Hank, that Hank wanted you to kiss His ass, and that Hank would reward you?"
John "Oh no! Karl has a letter he got from Hank years ago explaining the whole thing. Here's a copy; see for yourself."
From the Desk of Karl
Kiss Hank's ass and He'll give you a million dollars when you leave town.
Use alcohol in moderation.
Kick the shit out of people who aren't like you.
Eat right.
Hank dictated this list Himself.
The moon is made of green cheese.
Everything Hank says is right.
Wash your hands after going to the bathroom.
Don't use alcohol.
Eat your wieners on buns, no condiments.
Kiss Hank's ass or He'll kick the shit out of you.
Me "This appears to be written on Karl's letterhead."Mary "Hank didn't have any paper."
Me "I have a hunch that if we checked we'd find this is Karl's handwriting."
John "Of course, Hank dictated it."
Me "I thought you said no one gets to see Hank?"
Mary "Not now, but years ago He would talk to some people."
Me "I thought you said He was a philanthropist. What sort of philanthropist kicks the shit out of people just because they're different?"
Mary "It's what Hank wants, and Hank's always right."
Me "How do you figure that?"
Mary "Item 7 says 'Everything Hank says is right.' That's good enough for me!"
Me "Maybe your friend Karl just made the whole thing up."
John "No way! Item 5 says 'Hank dictated this list himself.' Besides, item 2 says 'Use alcohol in moderation,' Item 4 says 'Eat right,' and item 8 says 'Wash your hands after going to the bathroom.' Everyone knows those things are right, so the rest must be true, too."
Me "But 9 says 'Don't use alcohol.' which doesn't quite go with item 2, and 6 says 'The moon is made of green cheese,' which is just plain wrong."
John "There's no contradiction between 9 and 2, 9 just clarifies 2. As far as 6 goes, you've never been to the moon, so you can't say for sure."
Me "Scientists have pretty firmly established that the moon is made of rock..."
Mary "But they don't know if the rock came from the Earth, or from out of space, so it could just as easily be green cheese."
Me "I'm not really an expert, but I think the theory that the Moon was somehow 'captured' by the Earth has been discounted*. Besides, not knowing where the rock came from doesn't make it cheese."
John "Ha! You just admitted that scientists make mistakes, but we know Hank is always right!"
Me "We do?"
Mary "Of course we do, Item 7 says so."
Me "You're saying Hank's always right because the list says so, the list is right because Hank dictated it, and we know that Hank dictated it because the list says so. That's circular logic, no different than saying 'Hank's right because He says He's right.'"
John "Now you're getting it! It's so rewarding to see someone come around to Hank's way of thinking."
Me "But...oh, never mind. What's the deal with wieners?"
Mary She blushes.
John "Wieners, in buns, no condiments. It's Hank's way. Anything else is wrong."
Me "What if I don't have a bun?"
John "No bun, no wiener. A wiener without a bun is wrong."
Me "No relish? No Mustard?"
Mary She looks positively stricken.
John He's shouting. "There's no need for such language! Condiments of any kind are wrong!"
Me "So a big pile of sauerkraut with some wieners chopped up in it would be out of the question?"
Mary Sticks her fingers in her ears."I am not listening to this. La la la, la la, la la la."
John "That's disgusting. Only some sort of evil deviant would eat that..."
Me "It's good! I eat it all the time."
Mary She faints.
John He catches Mary. "Well, if I'd known you were one of those I wouldn't have wasted my time. When Hank kicks the shit out of you I'll be there, counting my money and laughing. I'll kiss Hank's ass for you, you bunless cut-wienered kraut-eater."
With this, John dragged Mary to their waiting car, and sped off.
As for my own comments
He also advises us not to follow/cause to follow what we have no knowledge of
a very sane advice indeed.
The qur'aan is an amazing book full of amazing signs. To find out who authored the qur'aan, we have to take a look at the contents of the book. Let us consider some facts and aspects of the qur'aan
look at the story of kiss hanks ass in red. Because one of the pieces of evidence according to you is something the book itself says.
Now the question is, if the qur'aan is not the word of Allah, and instead it is the word of a man or group of men or jinn or malaika, then how come in 1400 years no one has come forward claiming to be the author of such an amazing book ?
Good question, how come noone has with the Bible, the Verda, The Taurat or the cunaiform of sumer where most of the storys are planked from 11?
I guess if noone claims authorship, it must be from God if it say so itself. This is not logic, and i really hope that you can see that aswell.
One of the miraculous aspects of the qur'aan is that its message has not been corrupted at all in 1400 years and has been preserved in the original language
great, more internal evidence. (the book says x, so its true). I fact, how about all the manuscripts found apparently associated with earlyer copys of the book? Im not bying into this one, it cannot be confirmed in any way that doesnt require blind faith. and i know that God doesnt require blind faith.
Another amazing aspect of the qur'aan is that Allah revealed it in the Arabic language which at that time was the language of the common people and not the elite in power....That itself is one of the proofs of the qur'aan's divine origin
huh? how do you think? Why wansnt it given to a brit? why are all these relegions and scriptures comming from the same place. are we to understand that the semites are especially developed, since they get all the scriptures and prophets, or may there be another explanation for the use of common language.
It is a well known fact that the arabic qur'aan is a book of literary excellence. Many scholars worldwide, including non-muslims as well, regard the qur'aan to be of superior quality in language, style, eloquence etc.
this is 100 percent subjective. 100%. Its evidence of nothing as peoples taste in verse and rhyme differs a lot. There altso several arab poets, who doesnt think high of it, and think its pretty badly versed and put together.
The qur'aan contains a lot of scientific facts that have never contradicted the proven scientific facts and have never been proven incorrect. It contains some scientific facts that were revealed in it 1400 years ago which have been discovered or proven to be correct only recently
I agree there are many incredible scientific facts. BUt look at this over again shall we. All my study conclude that the debate of flat vs. round earth is as old as we are. Esepcially after we discovered astrology and that the stars wasnt little lamps in the cealing. The nebetaeans was expert astronomers, as where many other semitic people, so the details of the universe is in no way uinique to the Quran. In fact, it is anything but unique to the Quran as a scripture. Go and read the verdas. With a little fancyfull translation, boom...you have a miracle right there talking about atoms, and nucleus etc...
It has no contradictions of logic
yes it does if you are intellectually honest. "Had it (the scripture) been from God, surely it would have contained much err"
THis is a logical fallacy on its own. Im pretty sure that whomever human put that in there, thought himself really clever. Unfortunally, he wasnt.
- The qur'aan's message will remain preserved and intact over time (159)
but there is no way for us to confirm this, other than reading it in the book itself.
No one will be able to find any contradictions or discrepancies in the qur'aan (482)
i disagree, and is again very subjective not anything empirical that could go for evidence for anything.
Defeat of the Romans (302-4)
at the lowest point of the earth yes. UNfortunally, this has not happened yet. Rome is still in control of the dead sea area, its just not through politics any more. But banking and the united states! (rome had capitoline hill, US have capitol hill, Rome worshipped columbia, US is lead FROM columbia etc etc)
For details about other prophecies of the qur'aan please check out brother Wakas's article at the following link, which also contains details about the scientific facts in qur'aan and the literary quality of the qur'aan
the wonderfull thing about weakly written prophecy is that it can mean anything to anybody. During WWii boths sides propagated against eachother with the very same biblical verses and nostradamus yadayada.
To talk about this as divine evidence is moronic. As it rely 100% on subjective interpretation of a text and situation.Allah has challenged all creation to bring a qur'aan like it, or even a chapter like it. The smallest chapter in the qur'aan comprises of 3 verses only, and so far no one in 1400 years has been able to meet that challenge
wich is a weak challenge, as there are no rules as to how to do it. There is no judge. Al there is, is a book saying nobody can make anything like it. I have seen many chapters written by poets to take on this test. I cannot tell the difference, and the arguement against them is tadaaa "the book says that you cant, so you cant". who is to judge? surely The God is more clever than this? making challenges noone can confirm won or not.
The probability of each of the above mentioned aspects of the qur'aan to have happened by chance is remote
i dont know where you get the numers that you use for your statistics, but they seem dubious to me at best. I dont think it is by chance either. But by design. The question is.,..whoms
When we use our minds, reason, and knowledge and think and reflect on all these amazing aspects of the qur'aan, the inescapable conclusion we arrive at is that the qur'aan can only be the word of Allah and it is impossible for it to be the word of anyone other than Allah.
no not at all, the whole argumentation you presented here is flawed in its logic. If you want to take such things for evidence and proof. fine. Personally i dont. The evidence is around me.

peace oneway,
Which message of Quran
1- Is most appealing to you?
2- IS most annoying to you?let,s discuss the message of the book, that was the intention of the writer book in the first place.
peace
Hi, alpha97,
I suppose a simplistic answer to that might be that those parts of the Quranic message that are also part of the message of Christ are most appealing to me and those parts that contradict the message of Christ are most annoying.
Of course, as I said, that boils down to a debate firmly grounded in belief Where do we believe the message of Christ is captured? Muslims believe it is corrupted in the Bible and accurately represented in the Quran. Christians believe the opposite.
We could both posit well reasoned arguments in support of our respective beliefs, but the persuasiveness of those arguments to each of us hinges on those beliefs themselves.
Probably the best we can do is work to promote tolerance and emphasize the common good in the teachings we hold dear while actively opposing those who embrace evil under the guise of following God's will.

Peace alpha97,
Only righteous can be attracted and guided by Quran. And he will only be attracted to Quran through hearing the message and seeing the message in the behavioer of those graced by Faith.
Let?s propagate the message of Quran instead
Of course the message of the qur'aan is what is important, and that is why the message was exactly preserved rather than the exact words. Having said that, don't you wanna find out who the message is from ?
-
Peace oneway,
With all due respect, refutations to your points above are abundant.
In the end all you can prove conclusively is that some have faith that the Quran is a revelation from God, and some do not. This is because those of both views interpret the text through the lense of their belief Those who reject the Quran see obvious problems with your points above and those who embrace the Quran find ways around those problems.
I am not here to force my understanding on someone. You don't have to believe in or accept my words. All I can request you is to read and understand the qur'aan with an open mind, and see what message it gives you, and use your mind, reason, and knowledge. In the end each will be accountable for their own deeds.
-
Peace Magi,
Your post itself implies that you have not even read all the links I have posted let alone read and understand the message itself in detail. If you had done so, most of your questions and criticisms would already have been answered. I can just advise you to do something but I have no cure for intellectual laziness.
I can offer you the same advice as I offered to oneway. I am not trying to force my understanding on someone. Instead of criticizing my words, all I can advise you is to read and understand the qur'aan objectively with an open mind, while using your mind, reason, intellect, and knowledge, so you can discover its message. Of course one should learn from the signs within and without and compare them with the revelations. I don't think Allah wants us to blindly follow everything.
But if you are already biased against it and have made up your mind without even trying to consider what it says and want to ridicule it, then all I can do is follow Allah's advice
668 And if you encounter those who make fun of Our revelations, then turn away from them until they move on to a different topic; and if the devil lets you forget, then do not sit after remembering with the wicked people.
4140 And it has been sent down to you in the Scripture, that if you hear God's revelations being rejected and ridiculed in, then do not sit with them until they move on to a different subject; if not, then you are like them. God will gather the hypocrites and the disbelievers in Hell all together.
2855 And if they come across vain talk, they disregard it and Say "To us are our deeds, and to you is your deeds. Peace be upon you. We do not seek the ignorant."
266 They have denied, thus the news will come to them of what they used to ridicule.
4083 Then, when their messengers came to them with clear proofs, they were content with what they already had of the knowledge. And that which they ridiculed became their doom.
7042 So let them talk in vain and play, until they meet their Day which they are promised.
-
Peace Tanveer,
That Knowledge CAN only be manifested after getting RIGHTEOUSE.
Then the content of every DIVINE WORD appeals to that heart.Read with the eyes of your HEART
2. This is the Scripture in which there is no doubt, a guide for the righteous.

Peace alpha97,
Of course the message of the qur'aan is what is important, and that is why the message was exactly preserved rather than the exact words. Having said that, don't you wanna find out who the message is from ?

peace
the quran is inspired by God. Inspired by his creation. But God didn't write or dictate verbally the quran. God doesn't speak in words, He speaks to us through this world.
I had an argument with my friend (a sunni). it went something like this...me let's say i told you that this milk carton was blue (it was red).
him OK
me would you believe me?
him if the quran said that this milk carton is blue then that's what i'll believe
me but can't you see that it's not blue but red?
him i dont care. i will only follow what God told me...and it went on until the end of lunch.
He says he'll follow what God 'told' him. He, like most other muslims, assumes that God is 'talking' to them through the quran and they forget that God didn't write the quran, but he did create this world. He did create us. And He doesn't need words. We don't need words. The truth is all around us. All we need to do is open our eyes.
And i've also found that the more i've adhered to the above, the more the quran has made sense to me as well.
The quran's a great book, but it's not a perfect super book written by God himself. -
Peace oneway,
Let's do it my brother.
I expect soon from you a beautiful message from Christ.
peace,
Ok, alpha97,
Here is one of my personal favorites
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

GLORIOUS WORDS, Thank you and in return you get some Sutras from Hakim Sanai
WORSHIP HIM AS IF YOU COULD SEE HIM WITH YOUR PHYSICAL EYES;
THOUGH YOU DON?T SEE HIM, HE SEES YOU.
WHILST IN THIS LAND OF FRUITLESS PURSUITS,
YOU ARE ALWAYS UNBALANCED, ALWAYS
EITHER ALL BACK OR ALL FRONT;
BUT ONCE THE SEEKING SOUL HAS PROGRESSED
JUST A FEW PACES BEYOND THIS STATE,

peace magi,
Me "You're saying Hank's always right because the list says so, the list is right because Hank dictated it, and we know that Hank dictated it because the list says so. That's circular logic, no different than saying 'Hank's right because He says He's right.'"
lots of reverse swing, bouncers, leg cutters and inswinging yorkers in you post-would be interesting to see how it is tackled )
Peace.

peace waqas,
A small note. The article referred to in the above post was written by me when I was about 18 and modified several times after that. It reflects my view of the time, however the idea behind the article is still as strong now I feel.
Brother, an exceptionally rational approach for an 18 year old ) at this age I was reading Archie?s comics wink
