The World is just an illusion.
While living in it, we forget two things.
We forget the presence of our own soul and THE SOUL OF THE UNIVERSE.
During prayer we repent for our shortcomings and by doing this we
make the crystral of our heart clean
so that by his rememberance, the ALMIGHTY SOUL can shine upon it and leave a print of HIS image upon our souls.

Let our prayers be of high quality and from bottom of heart! whatever its form might be!

    peace,

      peace,

based on your implications, isn't reflecting upon your deeds and actions a part of prayer? in order to clean your heart, one must not get it dirty which means you must be aware of your actions, thoughts and intentions as well. if you can have 100% control over your state of mind ALL THE TIME, that means drinkindg alcohol has lost its consequences... just think about it...

if you are aware are of your own being and the creator of existence, then we do not forget the presence of our own soul and the soul of the universe.

      peace, rifat

I think life becomes a prayer, in that each thing seen you pass you are speaking with (with the actions you send out or with the words you vocalize) , in communion with, with a fragment, speckle and spark of the unseen, the everytihng in everything, your maker.

A lesson, a hard lesson for that matter, that I am still learning and at times forgetful of is that how you treat your fellow man, your brother, your sister, the stranger, the beggar, the harlot, the most of and least of is how you treat your maker, for to begin to love the unseen we must first have love for the seen, and so in taking in spirits wind into our body, how we give it out through our steps and selfs-expression is how our maker hears us. So 'pray often and joyously.'

I feel that when we call to our maker, we must call from our heart, for words are the creation of men and thus they return to man, the heart, it is a creation of God and so from God it was born and to God it returns.

I have read in the past that 'Prayer is supplication for direction, for understanding. Meditation is listening to the divine within.' i like that understanding still!

        I guess what I am trying to say is that prayer is very beautiful, it is the words your heart shapes and it is the actions your body carves. Some quotes on prayer that are beautifull are as follows;

-Those who want to know the way must pray often and joyously, knowing that God gives life to those who sincerely seek to be a channel of blessing to someone.
-All prayer is answered. So don?t tell God how to answer it.
-Why worry when you can pray? Your power is very limited. The power of God is unlimited.
-Your body, mind and spirit needs the spiritual food of prayer, meditation, and reflection upon spiritual things.

        God bless,
        Khalil

            Salaams to you,

            Qad aflaha almu/minoona

The believers must (eventually) win through,-
            2.
            Allatheena hum fee salatihimkhashiAAoona

            Those who humble themselves in their prayers;
            3.
            Waallatheena hum AAani allaghwimuAAridoona

            Who avoid vain talk;
            4.
            Waallatheena hum lilzzakatifaAAiloona

            Who are active in deeds of charity;
            5.
            Waallatheena hum lifuroojihim hafithoona

            Who abstain from sex,
            6.
Illa AAala azwajihim awma malakat aymanuhum fa-innahum ghayru maloomeena

Except with those joined to them in the marriage bond, or (the captives) whom their right hands possess,- for (in their case) they are free from blame,
            7.
Famani ibtagha waraa thalikafaola-ika humu alAAadoona

But those whose desires exceed those limits are transgressors;-
            8.
            Waallatheena hum li-amanatihimwaAAahdihim raAAoona

            Those who faithfully observe their trusts and their covenants;
            9.
            Waallatheena hum AAala salawatihimyuhafithoona

And who (strictly) guard their prayers;-

Out of the six actions above , Br. Ahmed thinks salaat is for the almighty and the other five are with humans.

And thinks he that prayer should be done in a humble way ? as though prayer can be done in any other way, what other way can a prayer be done, I ask you?

I think we aught to be humble to other beings so we get results retrospect and salaat isn?t prayer at all ?but I leave that to you for pondering on.

            Thanks.

              Peace brothers,

When one choses to get straight from inside and starts to Manifest that awareness in the outside world, HIS ALMIGHTY grants him Guidance and the torch of FAITH.

The REAL SELF inside wakes up and start emerging, and What he does and does not all are the reflection of HIS IMAGE (HIS Attributes).

In reality SATAN is a blessing given to our HEART. If we can make him to surrend, REAL SELF reaches the status of enlightment. Through this fight against the false self we come across lots of wisdom and MIND will elevate in his views. MIND alone, can only believe but MIND as a slave of HEART attains FAITH.

Humbling ourselves in front of ALLAH is the vanishing of the false self and bringing the REAL SELF close to ALLAH.

All what the REAL SELF does is with the intention of getting closer to THE IMAGE of ALLAH.

YA MOGHALAB AL gholoobe val absaar. ( THE REVOLVER OF HEARTS AND VIEWS)

              peace,

                  Salaams Br,

So you?re sure, okay lets see the position held by others who where "sure"

                  051.020
SHAKIR And in the earth there are signs for those who are sure,
                  051.021
SHAKIR And in your own souls (too); will you not then see?

And yet they couldn't even "see?, funny.

                  God Bless.

And while Ahmed is at it on his "surety" frenzy, perhaps he would like to explain his "surety" or rather his "twisting", on whether the following verse is talking about humans or angels

                    Khalifa
(Written) by the hands of messengers.
                    Yusuf Ali

                    Shakir
                    In the hands of scribes
                    Sher Ali
                    In the hands of writers,

Perhaps mquran can give his 'master' a helping hand above and on the following

                      Peace all,

                      1. And uphold the salaat, and contribute towards betterment, and kneel with those who kneel.
                      2. Do you order the people to do good, but forget yourselves, while you are reciting the Scripture? Do you not understand?
                      3. And seek help through patience, and the salaat. It is a difficult thing, but not so for the humble.
                        peace,

The World is just an illusion.
While living in it, we forget two things.

First, i agree with what you say regarding the purpose of humble prayer. However, I find this (the quote above) to be the core of the most dangerous kind of reasoning/thinking in the world. Allow me to elaborate.

This is a core belief of most relegions, and if you look at a group like the fanatical sunnis, they use this reasoning to disregard life, including other peoples life. after all, it is only an illusion, right? And they are far from the only ones who have and still pull this one. Where i can see that the scriptures clearly hint something along those lines, it is at the end of the day no concern of ours. This world is as real as anything we will experience in it, our reality is here and now. If there is some other kind of reality it does in no way relate to us in this one, and we shouldnt allow ourself to cloud our minds with these ideas.

To a reasonable person there is nothing wrong with playing with these kinds of thoughts, i love it dearly myself, but in the hands of the gullible and ignorant, it becomes so dangerous that it should rather not be promoted at all. Our current reality however should.

We forget the presence of our own soul and THE SOUL OF THE UNIVERSE.
During prayer we repent for our shortcomings and by doing this we
make the crystral of our heart clean

I personally just try to correct my wrong doings, what good are words?

so that by his rememberance, the ALMIGHTY SOUL can shine upon it and leave a print of HIS image upon our souls.

Let our prayers be of high quality and from bottom of heart! whatever its form might be!
                        peace,

peace, that was beutyful, even tho im a troll and have to disagree

The truth is that Sunni are not the only ones who are taking other people lives. Budhists who has the reputation of most peaceful people on earth has been involved in bloody violence against each other on Budha reincarnation issue.

Then there are people who go and kill for their political and material purposes. Sunnis Shias all together have not killed as many as killed by the western democratic civilised people.

yeah but they claim the world is an illusion aswell, so there you have it bro D. Freemasonry = illusion based faith, xtianity = illusion based faith, science is actually pretty illusionary aswell. they just dont want to admit to it, or call it theories and stuff.

                              Peace Magi,

The fact that other mis-use a thought to justify their wrong action; does not prevent me of using that thought.

Sex industry uses the motto of "freedom of woman" to justify its porno industry. But we still believe in freedom of woman! don't we?

My understanding of the world is an illusion is like this

Surface of the world illusify people from recognizing that they are on a journey in this world and they get attached to it as a stable and ever lasting reality! They get caught up with worldly attractions and their wishes in this world! caught up in an illusion!

                              peace,

                                Peace Alpha,

                                you said

                                1. and uphold the salaat, and contribute towards betterment, and kneel with those who kneel.
                                2. Do you order the people to do good, but forget yourselves, while you are reciting the Scripture? Do you not understand?
                                3. And seek help through patience and the salaat. It is a difficult thing, but not so for the humble.

                                Look at the verses

                                Allah is saying

43 ?Do the salaat and cont??..?

But instead they are doing the opposite

                                1. Ordering people to do good but forget it themselves??.?

So ask your mind or yourself what is this salaat opposite to not doing good .

                                Gods Blessings.

                                  Hey Danish

Bro, I don?t really know what you are ranting about regarding 8015, well I guess because Yusuf Ali wrote the word (written) between brakets?, bro the brakets means the word (written) does not exist in the Arabic text, it seems those non Arab translators got 8015 tottaly wrong, the Quran will expose them easily, let?s look at 8011-16

                                  80.011
YUSUFALI By no means (should it be so)! For it is indeed a Message of instruction
PICKTHAL Nay, but verily it is an Admonishment,
SHAKIR Nay! surely it is an admonishment.

                                  80.012
YUSUFALI Therefore let whoso will, keep it in remembrance.
PICKTHAL So let whosoever will pay heed to it,
SHAKIR So let him who pleases mind it.

                                  80.013
YUSUFALI (It is) in Books held (greatly) in honour,
                                  PICKTHAL On honoured leaves
                                  SHAKIR In honored books,

                                  80.014
YUSUFALI Exalted (in dignity), kept pure and holy,
                                  PICKTHAL Exalted, purified,
                                  SHAKIR Exalted, purified,

                                  80.015
YUSUFALI (Written) by the hands of scribes-
                                  PICKTHAL (Set down) by scribes
SHAKIR In the hands of scribes

                                  80.016
YUSUFALI Honourable and Pious and Just.
                                  PICKTHAL Noble and righteous.
                                  SHAKIR Noble, virtuous.

                                  (11)
                                  (12)
                                  (13)
                                  (14)
                                  (15)
                                  (16)

-> 8011 is clearly talking about the Quran ? Nay! surely it is an admonishment.?

-> 8012 is clearly talking about the free choice given to the humans to remember the Quran ? So let him who pleases mind it.?

-> 8013 is also talking about the Quran ?In honoured books?, the translation actually should be?in honoured papers?, anyway, it means that the Quran consists of honoured papers

-> 8014 is also talkking about the Quran being ? Exalted, purified?, but BY WHOM?, the answer is in 8015

-> 8015 is talking about how the Quran which consist of papers being exalted, purified by the angels ?By the hands of SAFARA?, Safara NEVER means scribes, in addition to that the word "WRITTEN", in arabic "Maktooba" does not exist in the arabic verse, the action was not writing rather it is honouring and exalting the Quran by those angels, the word Safara means the ones who are in constant travel ?Sa Fa Ra?, check the root if you like, so to translate that verse as any of the following is a clear cut ignorance and an obvious mistake

YUSUFALI (Written) by the hands of scribes-
                                  PICKTHAL (Set down) by scribes
SHAKIR In the hands of scribes

As I said, there is two words above that do not exist in the Arabic verse Written & Scribes, I challenge anyone to show me where these two words are in the Arabic text

-> 8016 is confirming that 8015 is talking about the angels and it describes them as ? Honourable and Pious?

You have no point Danish because the two words

Written & Scribes DO NT EXIST IN THE ARABIC TEXT and the three who translated 8015 are clearly false

The Quran actually used the same word ?Kiram? (which means Honourable used in 8015 to descibe the whole angels), to describe a specific type of the angels in another location 8211, here it is

10 But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you,-

11 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds)

12 They know all that ye do.

                                  (10)
                                  (11)
                                  (12)

Clearly the verses above are talking about the two angels assigned to each one of us, those two angels are the ones who WRITE/RECORD our deeds in a book for every one of us

-> 8210 is telling us the specific role of those angels ? But verily over you (are appointed angels) to protect you.? , the translation "protect you" is also wrong, they only protect the law "forcing it" that law is to record our deeds

-> 8211 continued to tell us about those angels and in here we read the same word ?Kiram? that was used in 8015, is used to describe this specific group of angels ? Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds)?

-> 8212 completed the description about those specific angels ? They know all that ye do.?

                                  Another Slam dunk mister Danish

                                  Salam

Ahmed, where is the word malaika (angels) in any of those verses. What does Safara (traveling ones) and kirame bararatin (noble, virtuous) has anything to do with malaika (angels)? Just because the traveling ones were pious and honorable who wrote the Quran, you assumed all of them were actually angels, perhaps with wings of 1,2,3 or more. WOW!!! What a slam dunk???

Once again you disregard all scholarly translations and came up with your own magical one, totally unsubstantiated and unfounded. When it suits you, you bring about the scholarly translations but when it doesn't suit you, you disregard them all to become idiots. No wonder your students are having a tough times on their hands. As mentioned earlier, you an excellent source of Arabic linguistics to a certain point but I'm afraid, an unintelligible one at best with lots of flammable slam dunks .

Relax, I have shown the explanation that should be understood as far as I believe regarding the context of the Arabic words

anyway there is nothing that says they are scribes either, and yes the angels are in constant travel to force the laws of Allah, they are called Jinood Allah

Now please dont think I'm flaming you by using slam dunk, i just found the expression very suitable to my style and sure I learnt it from you, remember?

                                        Peace Simple,

Before discussing salaat, let,s listen to Quran about our misbehavior and mistreatment of others on this forum! Let,s each one of us start with himself disregard his point of view to behave like Quran commands.

                                        peace,

                                        Peace Alpha,

                                          Salaams Alpha,

                                          you said"Before discussing salaat"

Sorry i wasn't discussing it but rather tried to show what it was/could be to someone who seemed lost.

But i am wasting my time,

                                          Salaams.
