I will possibly debate with wakas...I respect his style...
I think a discussion with wakas may bring some benefit to the forum....(no offense to anyone else.. ).) He seems open-minded and methodical...
The key with discussing with anyone is mutual respect...Exacty. Thats why I suggested those three names becoz U can differ in opinion with them, but yet there will be mutual respect. There wont be any name calling or personal abuses. And Wakas, I understand is quite knowledgable with Quran. So, it would be an interesting and constructive discussion if he accepts it. U should propably ask him.

Acutally, that's absolutely true. How will this ever be fair? We need to have moderators that are unbiased in their opinion on the issue; or as unbiased as possible. Which we'll never find anyone on this forum who is neutral on the issue of the quran!
I'm probably the closest anyone can get!
There are a few questions I have for both sides. Anyone who wants to answer my questions can answer them. If you do not want to answer them (for some wierd reason) on this thread, please send me a PM. If no one answers them, then that's fine with me too.let's start with the "quran-has-contradictions" side...
- The Quran supposedly contains scientific facts that could not have been known 1400+ years ago. What do you think of those claims?

Phoenix, this is not what it's about. First and foremost, the world of 'science' is has no philosophical certainty (re Kuhn vs Popper). You will never be able to verify 'scientific' findings. Rather, stick to THEIR allegations. They claim its contradictory, interrogate them on whys and wherefores. Question their linguistics (trust me, NONE OF THEM know the language) and you will find them unravelling.

It's not good enough for me either (because that's not why al-quraan is divine anyway) but seeing your 'will fall back' statement has disclosed your research into the matter. Sad to see you stopped where you stopped.
What makes you assume that i have stopped with anything? I have just seen these debates ad naseum, and they always end up in. The Quran is right because the Quran says so.

I can play on all fields (Qur'an - understanding with the help of translations and logic; slow courts) clay court, politics (grass and fast courts). ;D

I reject that Idolfree or and phonix be moderators for these debate, soimply because one don't believe in the Quran and the other doubts its integrity
at least the two moderators, one must be 100% Quran submitter and the other may be a kafir
this is how it will be fair

did i ever said that? NO, so please don't resort to your twisting and misleading experience by suggesting baseless and unfounded propaganda
but what I can say is this, certainly I don't lack the knowledge of the Arabic Quran, and sure Allah blessed me with the the language, therefore i don't need to go through masses of misleading dictioneries and spend days looking at roots to understand my Arabic Quran, and that will give me a huge adavantage over the non arabic speakers when it comes to the Quran (Alhamdullelah) therefore I'm one of those that the Quran enemies should be proud to debate but it seems that they are so shakey that one like me must be dodged, fine bro this makes me feel good still

what question bro?, so far since you joined I have never seen a merited question that you ask, it is bizzare from a muslim brother to nominate a quran rejector and a professional twister to be a moderator on a debate that criticise the Quran, see if you are a straightforward kafir, i would have no problem that you moderate that debate but i know enough about you now enq and all the sincere muslims should know you very well, therefore that muslim brother is either too naive or too young
