Dudes, seriously, stop creating threads like this one. It's getting old.
Just because someone claims to be a "quran defender" doesn't mean he/she is allowed to attack others and use abusive language.
Diversity is a great thing, and it should be cherished.good bye Marlboro. Have a good one.

Peace all
I am unhappy that some of the hard talks injured the feelings of some members (Myr and S2S deleted their accounts for instance).
I deleted my account earlier too, as I wanted to re-start on a clean slate.
Forums sometimes run like this on the Net. However I will not say anything until AB and others are re-instated because it will mean Ghaibat which is haram...
People should take it easy, even Allah advised His Prophet not to force-feed The Quran on people.
It is not our place to force people into anything.
Instead of engaging into arguments that lead to name calling, I just choose to ignore, and I feel much better for it.
Of course it is easier on the Net, not so easy when you have someone in front of you for real, meaning to hurt you physically if you do not agree with them, as some extremists do...

IN SUPPORT OF AHMED BAGHAT I VIL RESIGN AND APPEAL ALL FELLOW MEMBERS TO DO THE SAME. IF AB IS NOT UNBANNED WITHIN 48 HOURS, I WILL DELETE MY ACCOUNT.
Hello Marlboro, are you condoning AB's actions? The very actions that caused him to be banned for 7 days? Sorry Marlboro, I do not condone rudeness and disrespect, and I will not heed your call for others to resign.
If you want to delete your account, it's up to you. Nobody can stop you.
cheers

Peace to all,
Why was ahmad B banned, what was the violation, i thought he was a very informed and respectful member and i must have missed his post that got him banned.
Lets all try to concentrate on doing as God would have us do, lets build from where we agree and work from there, we must stop gibbleing over minutia that does none of us any good.

Peace,
This is not about someone being banned for his opinion, but for his behaviour and attitude. Big difference. Danish also already have been banned before for this. And why you put heart and magi in there i don't understand. Heart only spoke directly to AB about his behaviour, so he could correct it. That he behaved the opposite is the reason of the ban as Layth stated.
If the ban was based on someones opinion you would have a point, but not on this.

I second this too, but I think whoever is rude or disrespectful should be banned a few days too.

What is the big deal? I auto-banned myself for over a week by deleting my account, I found that therapeutic to let off steam
My opinion is again that we should take it easy.
For me when I am in a state of Belief (which is not always all the time), things take a very easy and soothing perspective, a cosmic one, The God is the Ultimate Arbiter, so fooling ourself into thinking that forceful arguments are going to really change anything only because they are forceful is living in flagrant denial with what The God's Plan is all about. Did not He admonish the Prophet that He was the one who guided and that the Prophet could not guide whom he loved, if The God did not will so?
Let us take it easy, and stop responding to personal criticisms with further more acid criticisms... It is bad for health and well being
The tragedy of human kind is that we like to be right, even when we are blatantly wrong, and attacking people's character is mean and unproductive...
By the way participation in the forum is a privilege and not a right, so mods and admins can do basically what they want, this is how the Web works...

Peace folks,
Some say no, some say it is rule for mistakes and some that the rules must become more stricter and some must know what is what. I had a discussion with Ahmed this afternoon and he convinced me not to quit for reason the issue doesnt concerns me and and he will be coming back soon to this forum.
I have learned alot from this place and it takes alot of energy/time to properly understand anyones post. To understand any quote from Arnld I hv to read alot on the net and I do same for Ahmed, I hv to read alot of quran and reconfirm his quoted verses before accepting or rejecting any views.
I dont have personal sympthy with anyone but some do. Whereas I stand with most who wants to ponder truth, fewsome dont. It appears some folks are here to waste other ppls time and offcourse their own too, only if they understand.
Finally I am not quiting but will be away for quite sometime. Hope when I return this place will be as good as it use to be and I will learn more.
Peace be with you all.

What keeps me going about other people's ranting and panting is that The Creator does not need us and we need Him.
I didn't quite understand your statement above. Can you please elaborate a little?
-
Easy folks. How do i need the creator? And i think he does need me because he is always asking me to help his deen and worship him?....Go figure... ;D ??? >
-
Peace upon you Danish and enquirer,
Why do we need a creator?
If you think that you are "some creatures" then surely you need a creator that have made you, it is as simple as that.
But if you think that you are not "a creature", then you don't even exist to have this conversation. If you nullify the existance of a creator, you nullify by the same token your own existance.
You may ask, "why only one creator?", if you think there are more than one, just tell me to which one you belong.
To make things easier for you to recognise your creator, just remember the one to whom you asked for help when you were in danger of death, when it seemed that nobody could help you, and asked for his help as the ultimate resort. Has he not answered your call? Would you answer his?
-
Sorry I do not wish to engage you, I meant panting and raving, or was it raving and ranting, must be these damn pills I am taking ...
Then you should stop making "noble" statements coming out of those damn pills you are taking.
Some have issues with God, take them with Him, I am only human
As per your statement, if Quran is Allah's words, then take the entire matter to "HIM"; why bother speaking on behalf of HIM? You make statements that you can't support and when confronted, you start making excuses.....oh, I am only human, take the issues with God, huh!

Danish,
What happened to you? Have you been gang abused (hard) by a bunch of mullahs when u were young, that might explain your persistent touchiness on the matters.
I have nothing to say to you.
If you feel victimised, go and drama queen with someone else.
I value my comfort, and arguing with you is useless and senseless... -
