If you don't mind, could you explain to me what the oracle(s) represents? From where does it draw it's ability? What is the "science" behind it? I don't mean science in conventional terms but in terms of it's functionality.
As you're aware, I'm convinced that we all have the ability to "talk with God" via meditation and other means. And you know I'm convinced of the unity we exist within. I'm just a bit confused on where you place the oracle within this understanding.

I've only read bits and pieces of this thread so my post may sound way off key here
but it's my understanding that time is only an illusion. The idea that there is a past present and future is only something humans use to understand this universe. on a different plane, the Almighty does not deal with this time issue.... therefore anything or person used to "predict the future" may not really be predicting anything but rather tapping into the Universal Energy and catching glimpses of that fusion of all that we categorize as past present and future as one.
it's my experience that those who are gifted with this blessing are all deeply spiritual people, which reinforces my idea that they really have just reached that level of being able to tap into a different level that the average person is too consumed with the "daily routine" to reach.

As you're aware, I'm convinced that we all have the ability to "talk with God" via meditation and other means. And you know I'm convinced of the unity we exist within. I'm just a bit confused on where you place the oracle within this understanding.
Basically, we all have the ability to intuit the solution to problems, thats what Prophets are, however most will never reach that potential, but the God still allows for such a person to communicate with "IT", until they grow enough to intuit from within without use of the oracles. An Oracle is just a "mouth" through which the God uses symbols to communicate to man.
I just wanted to give an answer at this point, I will try to elaborate soon.
