Bad news is... I hate to inform you that that today I reinstalled the file and the problems persist. Verse 274 is showing this 422676096, verse 290 (422676096), 2126 (422676096), 2165 (422676096) ups all have the same (422676096) brickwall ??? No other verse has problems in Sura 2.
The good news is that other Suras do not seem to have the same problem as in Sura 2. I checked as far as Sura 11 and they all seemed just fine. No missing verses. I shall check the other suras and inform you for any problems on SE K750i.

Thanks very much for your detailed observations, I'll try to implement a new scrollable displaying system (Canvas) that could perhaps fix the problem - now I think to problem is either the SE750 text box (StringItem) or JAR storage retrieval system. I'll try to post it as soon as possible - if God so wills.May God Guide.

Haroon, It's now updated so that now it uses scrollable canvas fully controlled by the joystick. Please check.
FJ, I think this build should work on the SE 750i now, please re-donwload and install it.

I want to inform you that I found a bug about the latest build on some screen sizes such as Nokia 6630- it does not show some very short verses like 742 - I also think I usderstand the reason now but I'm not free today. I'll try to fix and update it real soon - if God so wills.

Update Log
15 March 2007- Changed the whole data indexing/data storage system, now the program is only 351 KB (the old system was 1.4 MB!). The program also launches much faster.
- Added an icon.

just think this is a brilliant idea! sun i downloaded it to my phone no problems through wap, it works fine, but it doesn't look like it does on the screenshot...is it just that my phone is not compatible? i don't understand a lot of the phone jargon! my phone is a nokia 7370

Very glad to hear that you like this project. I'm really sorry for the techincal jargons that are in the main page, I grew too accustomed to them in the past years of coding... I'll try to clear the jargon out of the page soon - if God so wills.It's normal that it won't look the same on your phone, and it will almost never look the same across different phone models - this is device, and even theme dependent. You don't have to worry about this.
Happy to hear that you downloaded and installed it easily via our WAP and happy to hear that it works fine. I'll add your phone model to the compatible list soon - if God so wills.

I managed it finally yay. Actually, installation on samsung is quite tricky , nothing wrong with your programme,looks like that the colorful background has gone , when you reduced the file size. i suggest you keep both the options available.
Can you incorporate some word search facility, like what submission org has in their win qt? it could be a useful tool, because most of the time one does not remember the verse.

Yes, I'll try to add a search facility and bookmarking within a few weeks - if God so wills.
Unfortunately, The colorful background that comes from your phone's theme can't be shown now because the "text box" used before couldn't receive raw key presses therefore you couldn't use the joystick to scroll between verses (left-right) and I also had to change it to the new "canvas" system that doesn't have background because this new system fixes the bug of missing verses found on SonyEricsson K750i - thanks to brother FJ for his testings and report on that bug. Maybe I'll add an option as you suggest so people can choose what's best for their phone because the new system scrolls up and down much slower than the old system on some slower phones - if God so wills. Anyway, adding this option won't make the program as large as the old one because that has got to do with the data indexing and storage system that I improved - so the program size can remain nearly identical.

Alhamdoolilah this is such a blessing I just have 2 tell you. Now I have read 85 surah's on this application more than I have read in 14 years of knowing about the Quran. I think I only read 20 at most before that. Anyhow I read it when I am waiting places and sometimes just sitting on the bed. The ritualistc idea is still strong that I am impure and therefore unable to hold the Quran while I am menustrating its hard to break old habits I suppose. Anyhow this is great because that doesn't matter. I hope MANY can get use of this VERY EASY TO READ translation of the Quran jazzak Allah khayran )
