Why no female messengers/prophets?

If women are not allowed to be messengers then why no explanation in the quran for this?
And if women were messengers then why no mention of even ONE woman messenger in the quran?
Surely women messengers would help to erase the misogyny and oppression women face in tribal society and religion? Surely women messengers would help women a great deal in their quest for human rights? -

In Egypt, these rude words only come from the lowest of the low. I am hugely disappointed.Its a common behaviour of so called religious people. They think if they take care of God they have to rude with the people. And you can easily see such people burning in their own hell.

Though they are not referred to as such, i would consider both mary and sheba messengers. Mary being an exemplary woman to follow and sheba originally an idolator seeing the signs converted

why no mention of chinese messengers? mexican messengers? inuit messengers?
perhaps it has to do with the audience it was being delivered to, who knows... or as i said before, maybe it was purely so that this topic would be discussed on free-minds forum in a distant future.

not all tribal societies treat their women with misogynist tendencies. maybe those societies received women messengers in the past then? or maybe women being treated with a misogynist mindset has very little to do with messengers and their gender at all (my vote is for this one)

I know God does as He pleases. But why do you think that no women ever get that title? I guess the closest would be Mary but she was just the messenger of a messenger so to speak ... She has a pretty cool title though ... the best of all womenbut still ... anyone have a guess as to why?

and men are just too dumb to deal with the women, talk about dumb and dumber, just joking though Preal authority, meaning coming from common sense and what is good for the majority, is less likely to be questioned, by it of male or female origin.
