i dont know to get the root for it - i thought it may have been f-q?
t-q-f is the command form of the verb right?my understanding of arabic grammar is very bad - while i read and speak arabic fine - i have limited knowledge of the grammar - which is a great disadvantage when understanding the quran!

Two letter roots are uncommon. By saying "t" this does not help identify what letter you mean by "t" as there are several possibilities.
In situations such as these, try the reverse look-up tool created by brother Nadeem
http//nadeem.reflekterselv.com/rootsearch.php
Simply type in 1736 and you will see the roots used in that verse/sign (it may be incomplete as PRL is a work in progress).
