That's NOT AhmedBahgat!?!?!??! o

What I mean is that he wrote a very good piece.

Peace
How is he an enemy of Allah? Seems like a good written article to me.
Peace
Lol, I was kidding. He used to be a member here and he was such a fanatic that he got banned for calling another member Clear Cut Enemy Of Allah. That is why he is associated with that term ever since among older members who are familiar with him. He did make great contributions though. But he was just not tolerant enough toward others.

I kind of figured that, but I wasnt sure so I just went with what you said. He said that to a Sunni/Shia or something? Guess he's just on the other end of the spectrum, as Sunnis/Shias would be calling us kafiroons.

He insulted Lobster with that term just because he did not believe in some of the content of Al Quran. On another forum he even called this forum a Kufar Forum after he got banned from here. The man has the heart of a Taliban I tell you.
Peace,

Bukhari tells that he once travelled to Egypt especially to collect a hadith from someone. But he then refused to take that hadith because the man cheated his horse with an empty bag to make the animal believe it was full of food and return to him and back to the stable.
If we apply this criterea to bukhari, and we should, then any one hadith that's agreed upon to be a clear cut lie against the prophet should make bukhari untrustworthy, like this owner of the horse.

You know the phrase, once a cheater, ALWAYS a cheater. In this case, once a cheater, six hundred thousand times a cheater.

Peace,
Hrmm...well if lobster didnt agree with something in the Quran, wouldnt that make him a a "rejecter" of the Quran? No offense to lobster or anyone, but just saying as a fact. Like if I didnt agree with something in the Quran. Not saying that he was right, but just asking about the context of the word.
Calling this forum kufar...was it just because he was banned or was he saying that before as well?
To tell you the truth, his views on hadith seem very good to me. I dont know this man personally on this board, so I guess Ill have to view his personality on that other one.

What a criterea...what happened to the isnad, the infallible test of hadith that Sunnis claim?

I was wondering where that video was, didnt know I had to click on it. Just saw it and thought it was quite funny. The ummah is what said it was all correct? rotfl Again, what happened to "Science of Hadith"?

I was glancing through a few hadith and found these two interesting...
Volume 8, Book 82, Number 806
Narrated Abu Huraira
A man came to Allah's Apostle while he was in the mosque, and he called him, saying, "O Allah's Apostle! I have committed illegal sexual intercourse.'" The Prophet turned his face to the other side, but that man repeated his statement four times, and after he bore witness against himself four times, the Prophet called him, saying, "Are you mad?" The man said, "No." The Prophet said, "Are you married?" The man said, "Yes." Then the Prophet said, 'Take him away and stone him to death." Jabir bin 'Abdullah said I was among the ones who participated in stoning him and we stoned him at the Musalla. When the stones troubled him, he fled, but we over took him at Al-Harra and stoned him to death.Volume 8, Book 82, Number 812
Narrated Anas bin Malik
While I was with the Prophet a man came and said, "O Allah's Apostle! I have committed a legally punishable sin; please inflict the legal punishment on me'.' The Prophet did not ask him what he had done. Then the time for the prayer became due and the man offered prayer along with the Prophet , and when the Prophet had finished his prayer, the man again got up and said, "O Allah's Apostle! I have committed a legally punishable sin; please inflict the punishment on me according to Allah's Laws." The Prophet said, "Haven't you prayed with us?' He said, "Yes." The Prophet said, "Allah has forgiven your sin." or said, "....your legally punishable sin."Easy to see which hadith above echoes Qur'an and which is the distorted version.
Who knows they could both be fake; although that last one sort of makes sense to me.

Good catch bravo
Most of the time it is this fellow Abu huriara, who has done the most damage to our Deen.siki
Peace siki,
That is what I also believe about huriara, I think the Deen would have been better and we would not have had these difficulties today had he not taken that task upon himself to collect and add whatever hadith he deemed good or bad according to his criteria.

Salaam all,
As for the issue of Bukhari, then it is interesting that you celebrate an article that starts with "they say" when what is being said may have not ben claimed by Bukhari himself. For a group that claims to search for the truth, you are too eager to accept hearsay on this person and that makes you inconsistent.
As for Bukhari's hadeeths, then all of them have been recorded by other hadeeth narrators and not from him. So, you can discard his hadeeths, but they will still be there.
As for the data on the people of hadeeth, then it was recorded by people who were earlier than Bukhari, as Yahya bin Maeen and others.
As for the hadeeth of the man who was stoned, then one needs to put the different versions together in order to get a more complete picture and to tell what is true from false. The man insisted on his stoning despite the pophet's repeatedly trying to change his mind. When the people came to the prophet and mentioned that they overpowered when he seemed to hesitate. The prophet said "I wish that you allowed him to go". That last statement is used by some scholars, Ibn Taimiyyah for example, to state that the ruler can forgive a married adulterer who repented, without stoning him/her. So, there is more to traditional scholarship than you guys think.
You may not be interested in this story, but I felt a need to share it's complexity and different angles in here.
Take care all.

According to tradition, Abu Hurairah was a Jewish convert so it is unsurprising if he promoted stoning to death through hadiths since it is the Jewish law for adultery.

Dear brother
I am amazed , that even a rational man like you thinks, that Mohammad (pbuh) would order stoning a man to death, in complete disregard to Koranic commandments ?

Not just that, but he did not attend the stoning himself, nor did he give any guidelines such as "if he repents, let him go; if he runs let him go; if....". Why did the prophet bother to stone the woman/mother of a baby himself, but here he just threw orders to regret later not giving a complete order with its conditions? What was this bukhari at? Showing us that Muhammad was not even a good statesman, let alone a prophet?
