    Peace all

ofcause not on them 2 documentaries alone, btw I am not expecting you to believe that, i posted them 2 documentaries; notice how i did not comment on them?

most climatologists DON'T believe in man made global warming.

have you even watched the tapes?

i take it that you have not watched the vids, all questions that people ask about global warming is answered there.
For gawd sake I don't talk my self out real 'threats', quite frankly I am usually paranoid and worry about stuff that I don't need to worry about, and YES most climatologists don't believe that we can effect climate change, it's all explained in the vids, tiz hardly rocket science.

are you some kind of self appointed psychologist?

No, but Im human and I observe the human ways. Have you gone to school and got degrees in this subject, or just a laid back theorist? If you do have degrees in this subject, then I respectfully bow out of this. As I said 2 posts before

Im not educated and Im not sure if you are to even make a statement on this issue. Its not my field of major so I just have my own opinion on it, but I do know a lot of people that use such rebuttals just to stay with their comfortable lives. If theres scientists that are against/for this and have spent years of study on this issue, then I have no place to speak against either of them.

I personally have taken class' in psychology, not that it matters.

lol when it comes to al-qaeeda I know for a fact that the "threat" the American media portrays is grossly exaggerated yet so many American idiots fall for it, even the British media won't let the Americans off when it comes to this one, the infamous BBC documentary 'the power of nightmares' talks about just 10 of the hundreds of cases where the government has deliberately framed Muslims for what they have not done. When there is a mountain of evidence to prove that such people were framed and they were proven to be innocent MANY people refuse to believe it. So much for wanting to live a 'comfortable life'

In the other thread you said that if people are not affected by something they will not be bothered about it. Which simply is not true, you don't need to look far for evidence to disprove that (i.e. charities, human rights organizations, protests/political activism, etc.)

don't act like you know what people are like coz you certainly don't.

Not all people, and not in their entire life. In certain facets of it, however, its true. Its true of you and me as well. Its matter of to what degree you take it to.

Have you seen how a lot of charities operate? Some are underhanded. Also, a lot of things that have to do with charities have benefits, which is why they do it in the first place. Look at celebrities. When many donate, it makes the news. They need camera time. Also people that are big in charities get paid. Does that sound like a charity to you?

Protests? Same backing depending on how you look at it. Politics plays a key role in all the above that you mentioned. You really think that many of the higher ups even care? Its mainly the lower people that do all the work. Even many of them can be accused of having ulterior motives, be it to boost their own ego, etc.

I work for a company that is involved with a big charity organization. That organization about 10 to 20 years ago was exposed as some of the members used the money for their own houses, etc. Its still a charity organization, but its tarnished. Also, my company is involved because "they care about people". Its a bunch of crock. Reason being, is that even my manager told me that the more people that donates, they get more seats on the board. Ulterior Motives.

Its funny that you accuse me of this, as you are the one that thinks you can dictate what Global Warming is. Now I dont say you cant have your own opinions, but you are quite pushy on the matter, yet you do not let me have my own opinion.

Again, offtopic, but are you a Muslim? Not that its wrong if you aren't, just your etiquette.

If you are a muslim, just look at the Quran and what it says about people.

ofcause not on them 2 documentaries alone, btw I am not expecting you to believe that,

We're just going in a circle. I say, to you your way and to me my own way. Theres no purpose in arguing.

    Peace

      peace,

I've studied advance level psychology too so I don't need a lecture.

i am well aware of corruption in charities so again I don't need another lecture. And the people that give money to charities are NOT "evil" for gawd sake.

You accuse me of being 'pushy' when all i did was post the link to 2 online documentaries. And yes maybe if you did your homework you would realise that most climatologists don't believe in man made global warming. And I am not holding a gun to your head expecting you to believe me.

And I don't need a PhD in science to understand if global warming is man made or not.

And I don't need a PhD in politics to know how the man made global warming theory is useful for corrupt politicians.

lol whether I am Muslim or not has nothing to do with climate change, i post 2 vids about climate change, you first imply that people that don't believe in man made global warming just want to live 'comfortable lives' (which implies we are selfish) and then you want to question my faith, this is more of a personal 'attack' then a serious discussion.

        Peace

        peace,

I've studied advance level psychology too so I don't need a lecture.

        You brought this up

are you some kind of self appointed psychologist?

        It was merely a response.

i am well aware of corruption in charities so again I don't need another lecture.

If you knew that about charities then why did you bring it up?

Also I never said the people were evil. I did say that their motives is what dictated them. A lot of people give just to get a good feeling. You dont believe me? Also, cancer research, and tons of other charities like that does evil in itself by researching on animals. That is not Islamic and even taking Islam out of the picture, it itself is horrible.

        Heres what I said

Like I said, whether or not Humans are a prime contributor doesnt mean we can be lax. I am in favor of cleaning up our act, its part of being a Muslim.

Then you keep on asking me about the two tapes

have you even watched the tapes?

i take it that you have not watched the vids, all questions that people ask about global warming is answered there.

Apparently you wouldnt let me keep my opinion as you kept on getting on about those two videos.

So its final, you do not have extensive knowledge or have done such research to even be considered a doctor in this field? What I am saying is that there are experts that say things that are against your point of view, they are the ones that have more knowledge and more higher standing then yourself. This is why while I have my opinion on this issue, I would not go out and argue with an expert due to the fact that they have more knowledge than me. Its like me going to a Sunni and telling them how to read the Quran when they know more Arabic than I do.

Like I said, the Muslim thing was off topic and I was meaning to ask it, due to the way you talked about a specific women. If you dont want to answer it or if its too hard to, so be it, it doesnt bother my life. Twas merely a question, no need to get haughty.

You seem to think that you are knowledgable in many fields, Ill leave you to believe that. Theres no more reason to even talk in this thread, as we keep on going in circles. As I said in my last post

We're just going in a circle. I say, to you your way and to me my own way. Theres no purpose in arguing.

        Peace

          rotfl

your doing it again and you don't even realise it. ;D

You seem to think that you are knowledgable in many fields, Ill leave you to believe that.

again your making assumptions about people. stop judging people by your own pathetically low standereds . its a disgusting habit and you should be embarrassed about it.

As for "experts", they don't even agree with each other! so if you have 2 "experts" that disagree with each other then you have to make your own mind up. Same applies to any field.

And I'm sure you have 100s of PhDs yes Allah told us to use our minds but we shall ignore that advice since many of us don't have PhDs, i shall ring the local imam up and tell him i need a lesson in islam and a good 'ol hiding for rejecting the ahadith, since HE is the expert in islam, HE has studied it for decades and since HE is older and "wiser".

Hmm now do i need a PhD in politics to find it if i should be voting for labour, lib dems, the tories, or the RESPECT party. I am pretty disturbed by the fact that many people that vote for a party quite often don't know what they stand for on every issue.

Like I said, the Muslim thing was off topic and I was meaning to ask it, due to the way you talked about a specific women.

I don't know what you mean, what woman?

As for testing on animals, since when did i say i supported it?

As if all charities are corrupt, charities like Islamic relief are so open about what they do that we don't need to worry about corruption, and COMMON SENSE tells you that you need to pick a reliable charity, of cause common sense is not so common.

Martin Durkin, the director of the global warming sceptic film, The Great Global Warming Swindle, concedes that a graph he used of temperatures over the last thousand years ignores data from the last twenty years. In Durkin's film the endpoint of the graph, produced by a British academic back in the 1980's, is labelled "now". Despite being condemned by scientists when it first screened in the UK, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation broadcast an edited down version and convened a post-screening discussion panel. In an interview ahead of the panel discussion, Durkin said that it was "absolutely absurd to quibble on when it finishes". However, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change reveals a dramatic rise in temperatures in the last two decades. The rights to the film have also been bought by distributors in Germany, Canada, Spain and the United States.

The plausible scientific community research says it's the variables in the Sun causing global warming. CO2 isn't figured anywhere in it. No doubt pollution needs to be stopped, but it's not causing global warming.

people that support the man made global warming theory are quick to vilify anyone who does not support such a theory, and make unfounded claims at people they don't even know (such 'amuslims' ad hominem attacks towards me - according to him I am "pushy", "lazy", "selfish" and claiming to be a "miss know it all", thats quite a mouth full for someone who does not even know me). But the sweet irony is that you ignore the backgrounds and the motives of the 'top people' that do support this theory. EDIT i mean industry.

Don't know who he is, by simple logic and by looking out into the world, there's not and there possibly cannot be a 'global warming conspiracy'. Also knowing that every climatologist against global warming is paid off some way or another is a huge dent in such a conspiracy. Exxon has too much too lose ( 40 billion in profit yearly! ) Humans are putting tons and tons of toxicity in the air, on the ground, in the oceans etc... it's causing the human race to be more diseased than ever. That's one of the reasons anyway. That's why even if you get organic fruits, vegetables they don't have near the value they did 50 years ago. It's the natural law of the universe What goes around comes around.

I wish you and Amuslim didn't into a fight like that We need to show good (Islamic) behavior and show a good example and agree to disagree rather than than do that. If I make mistakes (which I often do) I expect any and all to point it out. In fact, I am pretty paranoid about that.

I dont either but I provided my proof on the issue at hand (regarding Angel), its not baseless acusations. Ive also noticed his/her conduct calling a women by a dirty names, etc. which isnt Islamic, which is why I asked off topic if he or she is a Muslim because if not then theres no point for me to even bring up Islam. However, he/she didnt want to answer the question, so I just left it at that. The Quran is full of examples and states that we should debate in the best manner. Its no worries though, that person is on my ignore list. Best to keep negative things blocked for me, does no good.

i'm sorry but 'man made global warming' is a theory not a conspiracy.

i think we shall agree to disagree.

                              http//www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/news/worldnews.html?in_article_id=485336&in_page_id=1811

I wish all parents were this concerned. D

amuslim i did not call any woman 'dirty names', if i did perhaps you can quote me so i can apologise.

btw D amuslim indirectly insulted me first, this type of mentality is common in the man made global warming cult. Yet he has the nearve to say that my attitude is unislamic.

amuslim why did you bother posting in this thread if all you have done is insult me? D and OPF do not agree with me but they did not insult me, NOT ONCE. And atleast D and OPF provided links to back their point of view, the only thing you have done is attack me, who is being unislamic now?

Some people just like to live in conspiracies and think they know it all. Its cool if they want to believe it, but then people they think they have PHDs in the subject.

duh the writing in blue was a quote from a guy with a phd brickwall

stop being a conspiracy nut and claiming that i take no notice of people with phds, and people with phds often do have disagreements.

Ive also noticed his/her conduct calling a women by a dirty names, etc.

I've checked my profile, and I certainly did not call any woman "dirty names"

                                1. who is this woman?

                                2. Are you sure it was me that actually said it?

unless this woman is "RasulHamsa" then you have made this up, spreading malicious rumours about people is unislamic.

MODS can you tell 'amuslim' off for making stuff up about me? (

EDIT where is RasulHamsa btw, i kinda miss him.

                                    Peace,

If it's true that the film is exaggerrated and this article is not just a counterpunch, then I find it sad and counter-productive. Reminds me of Michael Moore's exaggerrations in Farhenheit 911. The truth is enough of an indictment. Exaggerrating it only lessens credibility...

The judge said that, although there was general scientific agreement that there was a connection, "the two graphs do not establish what Mr Gore asserts".

I am sure human made climate change is a swindle. I could say and bank on the fact that I have a degree in a related science, but I don't say it nor bank on it, because I did that many years ago and I am doing a different work since then and also because I am not an unconditional believer in titles. Dishonest or saleable people also have titles. Still what I do have from my own make up and science studies is a keen interest in TRUTH, whichever way it falls and in getting to the core of things. Of course, Angel is right that there are plenty of first rate scientists that refute man made climate change. I am not going to prove anything here because I haven't been keeping a file, because everything I looked into and found I did for myself and not to try and convince somebody else, and in fact I would not have posted on this thread if Angel had had somebody else "on her or his side". There is a lot of "religion" in climate change, a lot of "believing", and documentally I am SURE it is illegitimate and we are being taking for a loooooooooooooong ride. You may not see it now, but you will see it in due course, if things go as they are planned and, that is, if you keep your critical spirit wakened.

As for comfort, I tell what it is comfort is to believe what you are told to believe, and the to give in into the one who pushes stronger or gives you a vent for your own passions or emotions that you don't have the vision, or the strength or the guts, or the capacity in short, to deal with otherwise, even if you are not conscious that you do that. And the fact is that we all do it, or have done it or both, because we are weak, we are imperfect and we need crutches and we have faith, but not absolute faith, because we are not absolute, and we are not superhuman mentally either, so we have a lot against us.

Concerning climate change and the Convention and the Kyoto protocol, I suppose that you are knowledgeable about emissions trade. What do you think of them? The question comes because that could open the way to look into if really there are no interests behind the climate change swindle. I know there are. There are big ones. There has to be to have been able to push this new version of "the earth is flat" and "sorcery is science" and push up our inner. But since it seems that a red light is flashing here and that one might get stamped "conspiracy nut" if one goes into it, I will keep mum and and also keep my reputation as well (about which, by the way, I don't give a damn damn).

I am not giving links or anything for the reasons I said, and I am sure whoever wants fo really find will find. However, I recommend, because it is quite good reading and a good author and an honest one" Michael Crichton "State of fear". It deals specifically with this question and is very readable. Also I would recommend his last book "Next" which deals with genetics, but gives a very accurate vision of what the academic world is nowadays. They are novels with ascientific argument and complete notes and bibliography on everything he touches.

That climate change is a swindle doesn't mean that I like breathing fumes and eating dirt or that I don't want the planet to be beautiful and pleasant and a home for as many cretures as posible. But I would rather have that without playing into dirty hands. I have found the branding of the climate change disbelievers in this thread as earth haters (with whatever words) quite unwarranted.

                                      Salaam

hi tay, how are ya doin? )

the film is exaggerated, if you read the previous article it says that 'Schools must warn of Gore climate film bias', both articles are from the British newspaper the 'telegraph', and i am not being arrogant when i say that the American media is far more unreliable then the British media.

It's people like al gore and the Rothschilds that make me suspicious about man made global warming, when you look into their backgrounds its hard to believe anything these people say. On top of the fact that many scientists (especially meteorologists) say that we don't affect climate change. Al gore is a corprate puppet, and he was campaigning for GM food (congressmen Dennis Kucinich said not a shred of evidence exists to prove that GM food is safe) but since Americans are the guinea pigs it would be interesting to see what happens.

As with any scientific theory and political view people are entitled to their own opinion, the last thing I expect from adults is childish name calling.

                                        peace.
