R K got it right. We are born into such and such tribe or community according to our previous deeds in the 1st life or life before being born on earth. God chose some souls to be born as aborigenes and thus to be deprived of guidance. That's maybe cause in the 1st life, they were wicked, otherwise God would be unjust and God is never unjust.

Have you got any quranic sources to this claim?

You reject hadiths as being contradictory to the Quran but I feel you've fallen into the same trap of following RK's "hadith" as truth without any quranic evidence.

In regards to this post Damon got it right in terms of breaking up in sects. The story of Aaron and Moses is a brilliant example how when Moses had to go and Aaron was looking after the believers they turned to idol worship of the calf and yet he kept them together and didn't break up into a sect when questioned by Moses on why he didn't do anything about it. It's been sometime I've read that story so would be worthwhile reading it again but it's very relevant to the topic.

Unity is very important in the deen regardless of which deen or religion you follow.

    PEACE

Peace its rk who wrote the article. Not me. I'm just sayin that his explanation is plausible, doesn't mean it's false. Read the articles here about the beginning, you will see that there is speculation too! Does having a certain interpretation mean that we're breaking up into sects. You are obsessed about sects. When will you say that there will be 72 sects and bla bla

If Aaron did it and justified it as such, does it mean it was right?
Why didn't Moses, then, keep the hebrews in Egypt and went along with the pharoh, taking him as God, and thus kept the unity of a whole nation? What kind of messenger would allow idol worshipping in the name of unity?

If he did the wrong thing then he would have been admonished by God or corrected by Him but he wasn't as its not mentioned in the Quran, corect me if im wrong.

The egyptians were being persecuted by Pharoah and didn't have the freedom the human being deserved.

Sects are part of life unfortunately because of "shaitaan" and hence you got to look at the bigger picture and keep people together and let God decide whos commiting idol worship. Obviously debating and inviting to the oneness of God is a duty but at the end of the day there's no compulsion to what people believe in.

In that case the hadiths view on the beginning is plausible too as it relies on abit of truth mixed with hearsay. I just don't understand the double standards of people in this forum and its not directed at you this specifically.

Of course having different interpretations doesn't mean we're breaking up into sects so I don't know how you got that from my post. But what breaks people up into sects is when they rejoice into thinking "their" way is the right way and no one elses.

Oh and there was no need for the sarcasm at the end of your post about 72 sects. whatever

              PEACE

You may unite but you will not succeed in defeating evil if you are not a true believer.
According to my understanding of Qur'an ... finally all believer (people of all books) will unite and defeat evil.
We will unit and we will defeat Evil insha'Allah

He was admonished by Moses and God did not comment. And Moses went on to stop them, not caring about "uniting under the calf".

(Moses) said, "O Aaron, what is it that prevented you, when you saw them go astray,

"from following my orders? Have you rebelled against me?"

He said, "O son of my mother; do not pull me by my beard and my head. I was afraid that you might say, `You have divided the Children of Israel, and disobeyed my orders.' "

Aaron was looking at the bigger picture and understood that dividing the nation will only lead them more astray so he kept them together until Moses came back who then brought them to their senses elektro

If you look at the overall picture of what the quran says unity is very important and how we deal with people on this Earth, separating nations was the root cause of the downfall of mankind.

                    PEACE

Not ANY unity. Unity under the banner of God.
In fact the qur'aan tells us to stay away from even parents and nearest relatives if that would put us in the side of the truth revealed by God. Numbers not withstanding.

I never said any Unity ???

Unity under the banner of God is a very broad concept.

But the way I see it is we are only told to fight those that fight us.....if they don't fight us then we can have peace and live together in harmony.

                        PEACE
