    Peace,

You are correct Platinium, I have just read the information here

    http//www.patricksenecal.com/lune/dates.php

The first site that I have consulted indicated the full moon for July, 2008 is on July 17th, perhaps, I badly read.

    Thanks for the rectification.

    Best regards.

      Peace,
      Respectfully.

I have just witnessed the full moon and it is July, 18th, 2008 - 2257.
This means that the fasting starts from tomorrow dawn, God willing, correct?

May The Exalted God AllMight yguides us all to the truth and rewards us with Paradise.
      Glory be to our God.
      God bless you all.
      Peace.

        Peace,
        With all due respect,

Brother Layth wrote? The month of Ramadhan, in which the Qur?an was revealed; as a guide to the people and a clarification of the guidance and the criterion. Therefore, whoever of you witnesses the month, then let him fast therein. And whoever is ill or traveling, then the same number from different days. God wants to bring you ease and not to bring you hardship; and so that you may complete the count, and glorify God for what He has guided you, that you may be thankful.? (2185)

Brother Ayman wrote 2185. The full moon of scorching heat is when the reading was descended as a guidance for people and clarifications from the guidance and the criterion, so whomever witnesses the full-moon, let him abstain it. And whomever was sick or traveling so a count of other days. The God wants to facilitate and not make it hard on you. And so complete the count and magnify The God for what He guided you and perhaps you would be thankful.

Which one is the right tzranslation and when is the fasting now, in July, the hottest month or in December, where The Night Of Decree is? & hmm confused confused

May The Exalted God The Forgiver increase us all in Knowledge, God willing.
        God bless you all.
        peace. jedi jedi

          Peace all,

This is a photograph of full moon that I observed yesterday, it is like a burning sun on the image. However, its color is a little yellow, perhaps because of the artificial lights of the city. I think its color will be darker in the total darkness of the night.

Alen, IMHO, laylat alqadr = the night of the measure = shahr ramadan is on july 18th (the explication is within Ayman's article), this interpretation is my own contribution to this article.

          Peace

            Peace

If the full moon is observed on July 18th does this mean the last day of fasting is July 28th or today?
