If theres another new messenger going to come, it would have been mentioned in the Qur'an, like the coming of Prophet Mohammed mentioned in Bible in song of Solomon Ch 5 V 16 and several other scriptures like Hinduism and Buddhism..

still I face problems with my parents who doesn't believe in 3 times prayer and hadiths being wrong.. they even called my uncle who got knowledge related to Qur'an and hadith and I was being advised for 2 and half hours... but one thing was useful from him that quran-islam.org and submission.org used to misquote verses from Qur'an... (posted a thread related to it on General Questions section)..

I find it pretty absurd to fathom that until a specific date about 1400 years ago there would be frequent Messengers, loads of them actually, then one day in the seventh century God cuts all comings of new Messengers and leaves humans with what they have until the Last Day. I am not buying that. Sorry.

There may be no new book, but preachers or the likes could appear. Jesus came to preach the commandments delivered to Moses at least a millennium earlier.

Now, Rashad Khalifa does not sound like the optimal Messenger, but at least he might have been a sign for people and also a warning and his Message was very different from his own private life. He may have practiced the religion wrong but his fundamental Message was crystal clear. And he may also be a trap for those who love idolizing other than God.

Submission.org and the likes that focus on Dr. Khalifa are on a difficult road, but if you simply follow his initial Message you cannot go wrong. Is it not a perfect sign for mankind with a faulty Messenger who were illegitimate and crude.

In the middle of all bad things about Mr Khalifa he was one of those who highlighted the God alone concept.

Anyway, if you have a Message to advocate the service to God alone and being a righteous soul there is absolutely nothing wrong calling you a Messenger. But of course we might want to limit the Messenger (tm) to the servants of God who He inspire with a Message and who clearly preach an authentic Message of God, ie the al-kitab. We can relax and rest assured that such Messenger often is followed by some profound sign (generally called miracle) to certify being authentic.

Anyway, the Messengers are signs that we humans comprehend that there is a God and this is the restriction of their use. They carry a Message and the intelligent take heed. No need for scholars in that regard, only people who can really think.

Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) is the seal of the prophets.

A friend asked me a question while he was discussing about Quran alone stuff to his cousins, he asked me that do I believe in Angel Jibreel revealing the Quran to Muhammad? I said yes but I had no proof.
Can anyone of you who is knowledgeable explain me or provide me an ayaat to prove or dissapprove this?

Prove it using quranic verses.

When the hypocrites come to you, , they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah ." And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.

Most of the people mis-quote these verse and point this to the hadithers...
Well, infact, it is talking about the hypocrites at the time of prophet who infront of the Prophet were believers but they aren't really believing in Prophet. As you can see from the chapter's name "Munafiqun", it's talking about the hypocrites...

and my main question

I saw in quran-islam.org that we should end the prayers with these words..

Their call therein will be, "Exalted are You, O Allah ," and their greeting therein will be, "Peace." And the last of their call will be, "Praise to Allah , Lord of the worlds!"

they say that we should recite "al-hamdu-illahi-rab-al-amen" in the end of our prayers but if we check the Arabic word of that verse it, it says "dua" and not salah.. the translations doesn't mention about Salah (Contact Prayer) whereas it's talking about praying Allah at anytime.

On some of their topics, they praise Rashad Khalifa as a messenger and I was like /, when the Qur'an has mentioned that

"Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but (he is) the Apostle of God, and the Seal of the Prophets and God has full knowledge of all things. (The Noble Quran, 3340)"

This means that he is the last messenger of God..

so is quran-islam.org and submission.org safe?

ik Qur'an is the best source for info but I'm just 15 and learning Arabic @ school.

I just became a true muslim like 3 days ago... after finding the truth about ISLAM through websites like submission.org, quran-islam.org and my bro who raised a question that, "How is Hadith divine revelation?" and he showed me these websites and fair enough and it cleared my doubts !. I'm 15 btw. When I told my parents about this, they were mad at me.... lol, they were like "PRAY 5 TIMES" and talked rudely to me (.. I studied Islamic Studies in UAE for 8 years with Hadith and Qur'an then this year I returned to India. (yes, im indian)

anyways I got a question
How did Prophet's place (ie. Makkah and Madinah) got corrupted? I'm just sad that the place of Prophet is filled with practices which aren't mentioned in the Qur'an.
