Hi mmKhan, I read your article, but since the article doesn't mention slaughter anywhere, it still leaves me wondering regarding my question. Are you saying ritual slaughter is a requirement or not? Peace brother, Araaf Salaam and hello brother, When Allah did not mention of slaughtering then it is not required, I should say, we have to remember Allah's name while killing the animal for food. No ritual slaughter is required. Instead better to cut off animals head in one shot to avoid torturing that poor animal, so that the animal should not feel pain.
