  • Three or Five Daily Prayers?
    F faheem

I don't think there's two meaning of worship, by worship I mean worship, simply worship. Where does Allah ask us to do that in the Quran?

  • Three or Five Daily Prayers?
    F faheem

I looked over http//www.free-minds.org/salat just a few minutes ago. So I'm curious as to what you all think about the three daily prayers vs five. I'm under the impression that there are five, and I practice five daily - http//www.submission.info

So is it three or five?

Edit Sorry, gave you all the wrong website address. I corrected it ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^.

    IMHO
The name of each prescribed Salaah would mentioned.
    and they are.
    "Salaah tul Fajr" (245
    "Salaah tul Ishaa" (245
    "Salaah tul Wusta" (223

No other "Salaah tul" anything is mentioned.
    No guessing. Just clear instruction.

  • Why the importance of believing in One God?
    F faheem

My atheist friend asked me a question.

God in quran emphasize his oneness a lot, so it means that its very important to believe in 'one God' but Why is believing in one God anyhow better then believing in several Gods?

And what does it mean to believe in 'One God' how does one believe in 'One God'?

Because, simply that the One is the source of everything.
Worshiping anything but the One would be worshiping some product of Creation.
    Pure logic.
