I am still intent on living my life doing good works whether it be a day of the deen system or judgemet or no day at all - it makes no difference in our practical lives - the message for doing good still remains the same. I was not arguing that it was day per se - I was using the term used in the Quran to highlight the matter being discussed. It is fruitless to fixate on the semantics of words when the focus should be on the message or throughts that are sought to be transmitted. Yet another attribute of intellect over-riding teh truth.
