Really interesting topic. Just to add my 2 cents to discussion on links between Islam and Hip-Hop. I agree with most what the brother Ahmad said about this. Islam is like unofficial religion of Hip-Hop. People often call some rappers muslims, and they are really not (they are not traditional muslims). I know a lot about the american Hip-Hop, and I'm listening to it a lot. And forgive me for my bad english, by the way.

This baby is from my republic, Daghestan. They show this event in Turkey?!.. Wow ) some people believe in it, and some don't. I just cant think that parents would do this with their own child for attention. People from republic were visiting this family, they say, like, hundreds of people. We have some hard situation right here, something like civil war (wahabis vs police), there is a tension between sufis and salafis etc. Some imams in Russia say that this is a sign for us to stop all that.
And signs - they all around us, beautiful stars, sky, our imagination... Feel in the blancs )
nadeem1, u named important sings in your post (sun, moon). There are a lot of verses about signs in the Quran, like i know. I remember the verse where The God promise to show signs in ourselves, dont remember exactly. One member from this forum had this verse in his signature.
