Because, how can you be thankful if you don't know if what happened happened because of your prayer? Sometimes I ask for something, and it happens, then I'm happy and thankful, and then after some time I see it wasn't actually what I thought it was. So, you get confused. For example if you ask for rain, and it rains, but maybe it's not because of your prayer. Maybe it would rain anyway, or for some other reason. So how will you be specifically thankful? Indeed if you attach your state of happiness to something then you will definitely be confused. Scenario A (Your thought process) I wish for rain, then it rain, but was it because of my wishing? perhaps it's because of other people's wish? or it will rain anyway whether no one wish it or not? End Results Not Grateful -> No Happiness even though it rain. Scenario B ( The reversal, the muslim way a.k.a the way of acceptance) Whether it will rain or not I will accept it and I will be grateful. End Results Grateful and Happy regardless of the event. Salam everyone Years ago, one person visited Iran with a group of other people and they went to some school for having lessons about Islam.. One day they were told that in that school there was one teacher who could answer your question from Quran, without you saying your question outloud. I remember, this lady, she asked him in her mind about the marriage of her daughter (who she will marry?), and he looked into the Quran and just said that it is not her right to ask that. Anyway, I'd like to know if anyone has heard about or knows such a person that is alive today..

But you gave the answer already to yourself. It is absolutely possible, that the interpretation is not correct. Even for someone, who has been given some knowledge of interpretation (for whatever reason), there is the problem to stick exactly to what has been given to him, not to add even a tiny bit, not falsify it over time. And the worst is to think this is something rare and special. Jafar is correct. It can absolutely not be a final judgement over a person, because simply of the fact, that the person is still alive. Also consider that there are two totally different aspects in the unseen part of humans. One is simply the level of health/fitness/vitality that can be "seen", so it could perhaps be also health issues.

A lot lot of reads but just one answer. As I understand some people here "perform" salat twice to five times a day. I try to anderstand better about salat . Maybe other member are doing the same, am I right ? I do what I can understand and read other beliefs about salat and check in al quran. I rely on Allah and ask him to guide me. Ade, thank you. Still, my problem is there..that how will I implement salat in my everyday life, in cases when It's inconvenient for any reason. If I shorten it, maybe He will not forgive. If I pray it later, maybe it will not be forgiven, if I try to try to pray full (2 hours) then this will be hardship every time..and just all of this is like living a hell. Because you live in a insecurity of God's punishment.. Dear Sister... Who told you to pray 2 hours constantly dear... No worries... Your concern and thaqwa and belief is well known to God.... He will guide you in sha Allah.... Salat has fixed timing .. That's undeniable...... But God has never prescribed a length for Salat.. Better you benefit more you glorify God... Whichever you call - to Him belong the best names." And do not recite loudly in your prayer or quietly but seek between that an way. And say, "Praise to Allah , who has not taken a son and has had no partner in dominion and has no protector out of weakness; and glorify/magnify Him with glorification... Keep magnifying God as much as your heart allows you with any beautiful phrases and verses.. Then submit and finish... That's all... That's Salat.... That's your daily standard as long as you are free... But you can shorten what you do daily if you are in Fear...how much you shorten is absolutely in your hand... Depends on each individual's situation.. 4101... Further Salat has no length assigned by God, but only the fixed timing to do within that period with our own convenience.. . If anyone says salat has length that is only his or her whimsical or rather impulsive approach wittingly or unwittingly .unfortunately ..
