    peace

i think it is hard to convince someone about resurrection day without them believing in god.
on the other hand if they have accepted the quran then it is not a problem i think.

the quran says most of those who reject says

1749 They said, "When we are bones and fragments, will we then be resurrected to a new creation?"

if you are trying to convince them that ressurection is possible, then in the same way we were created the fist time.

1848 They are displayed before your Lord as a column "You have come to Us as We had created you the first time. No, you claimed We would not make an appointment for you!"

225 O people, if you are in doubt as to the resurrection, then We have created you from dirt, then from a seed, then from an embryo, then from a fetus developed and undeveloped so that We make it clear to you. We settle in the wombs what We wish to an appointed time, then We bring you out a child, then you reach your maturity, and of you are those who will pass away, and of you are those who are sent to an old age where he will not be able to learn any new knowledge after what he already has. You see the land still, but when We send down the water to it, it vibrates and grows, and it brings forth of every lovely pair.

i think so too but it's not so good idea.
for those who don't reject hadith it's much better to exclude those that are against qur'an then just throwing them all i gues.
even though i don't accept any hadith. they are just unnecessary.

  • What Happens When You Go To Sleep?
    J jibbo

    Peace.

I disagree. The brain enters a subconscious state, but I think the soul goes somewhere beyond this universe. 3942 seems to point to that as well and I'm glad you showed me the verse. When we die, God takes us somewhere and the same happens when we go to sleep, so wherever we go when we die, we go to the same place when we're asleep. That's obviously not any "location" that we're aware of; in the Quran, God says that He has created seven universes. What these refer to exactly is unknown. Couldn't one of them be the place we go to when we go to sleep? Peace.

    salam

when we sleep we are unconscious, god takes the nafs = consciousness
god takes the nafs doesn't means it is transferred to another place, but we are withheld from consciousness until we are awake.

  • What Happens When You Go To Sleep?

    peace

hmm. i don't think we go anywhere.
when we sleep we are in restmode, we are unconscious. the body repairs itself, the more you are physically active the more rest needed.
the same goes for the brain.

3942 God takes the person when it dies, and during their sleep. He then keeps those that have been overtaken by death, and He sends the others back until a predetermined time. In that are signs for a people who will think.

    nafs

Soul/spirit, the vital principle, intellect/reason/mind, inner desire or feeling, knowledge, pride, self-magnification, a state where there is ample scope for action, 'willingly' when used as adverb, nafs - soul of discrimination (mental) and ruh - soul of breath (physical), oneself/itself, whole, essential constituent, reality, sometimes ghayb and nafs are synonymous, a person/being/individual, quantity, man, life, soul + body, life-blood, body, contention/thought/face/substance, heart, stomach, gulp, drought.

  • The FICTIONAL ANT of the Qur'an
    J jibbo

    Peace "jibbo",
Can we agree on the following statements
"The possible interpretations of predictions MUST LIE WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE MEANINGS DERIVED FROM CLASSICAL ARABIC, THE GRAMMATICAL RULES AND CONTEXT"?
"The Quran should over time show signficaant number of predictions coming true eg from the moon splitting verse people could derive that one day it could approach the sun, as mentioned in another verse of the Quran, and split into pieces etc(Im not to sure whether id say tht the moon has already split and the verse be used for tht moon landing incident too since its too vague whilst the other is more specific even within Quran"?
    GOD Bless!

    peace JK
yes we can agree on that the interpretations of the qur'an must lie within the meanings derived from classical arabic, grammatical rules and context.

757 So, when the sight is dazzled.
    WHEN THE SIGHT IS DAZZLED
    what could that mean?
could it be that when the humans has advanced to a time where we could be living in the virtual world?
a couple years ago i once saw a program on national geographic titled "year 3000"
it was talking about how the human could be living in year 3000.
and it mentioned that computers would have been very advanced and could be inside our brain.
the virtual world would have seem real as it would be very advanced.
this is one possible prediction the qur'an is aiming at, but what if when humans have advanced much and there was things not even imagined in our time, and the sight being dazzled could mean something different in the future.
yes sure qur'an has many prediction.
understanding them is the hard part.
