hi i am new here. it seems most quranist would use the method of corroborating the words used in one verse with another ones, but what if the words in the quran are not meant to be corroborated? what if one word can mean two things? i am not a linguist, but i think there are some occurence in certain language where a word can be used to mean another thing. Shalom, Well, no matter which translation I read, I often find that one word may mean 2 things under 2 different circumstance. So couldn't really understand your point.
