  • Salam, I am new. I need help.
    M Momeen

    Salam all,

My head is spinning. I am brought up as sunni. Quran only makes a lot of sense to me and lifted heavy burdens in my heart. I told my husband about this and he was worried sick that I became 'deviated'. The final blow was when he saw me perform the traditional salat (I only ommitted the durood) during my menses. And I stopped performing salat afterwards. My heart is worried sick that I did not perform salat. This is all so new to me as I always uphold my 5 prayers, etc. and then theres the interpretation of only 3 salat. Some say 5 some say 6... And then theres no ritual. I am so new that i did not even finish reading the whole quran (well previously I only pick and choose which surah I shall read, I am still learning quran) i believe i am still 'veiled' from understanding of the quran? And then theres an argument of what invalidates wudu...

Please... I am worried. What should i do now? Pray? Not pray? Is upholding my previous practice allowed? I am lost. How do you pray? This is sooooo new to me i dont know what to think anymore. Sorry if i sounded like a complete moron... '( '( '(

Look sister dont waste your life reading bull crap here, you cant follow book of ALLAH without respecting and following the person who became messenger and a way between Allah and his believer, dont ever even think of deleting doorod from your prayers, Quran is a complete book but it needs sunnah to complete it, without the name of Muhammed(s) even the kalima e shadat is incomplete.
Please dont deviate and stick with sunnah and prayers which are prescribed by oour Prophet.

shaitaan will come and try to cheat you in many forms, and one of his form s make you feel you can follow Quran alone, dont listen to those shaitaan, do what our prophet did and die as a muslim and ummati of Muhammed(s).

    Peace to you.

Ahh! I feel so sorry for your wife. Go ahead, marry more girls/women if you think that is allowed in your religion. (my religion is ISLAM, which religion do you follow?)

By the way, if you do marry, you will first ask for your wife's permission, right? Or do you have a plan to marry without even asking her if she's okay with it?

very intelligent question, and I was expecting this in initials but no one brought this important question.

    YES wife permission is MUST.

to be very honest, those who are visiting this website, be careful, in my opinion no matter this forum claims to be QURANIST, but it seems this is more run and operated by non muslims, who are fundamentally against QURAAN and specially with beloved prophet of ISLAM.

  • Question about polygamy
    M Momeen

    Dear Panda,

So this is your goal? Good luck! I feel sorry for the one you're married with, and I feel sorry for your children. PS If I were you, I'd love my wife more than God and just live my life. But that's me personally! I see no reason in marrying for God or religion. If I want to marry someone, I'd do it out of love, and not for religious or a traditional reason, and I'm CERTAINLY against polygamy! I condem it as should everybody. As I said before, you should really seek a divorce before you screw it up for your children and for your wife. Maybe polygamy is allowed in Australia, but if you were to do it here in Sweden(Specialy with a Swedish woman), then you'd be jailed and divorced right away. Your "divorce-contract" does not work here either. Anyway, most of all, don't screw it up for your children. Know that your children and your wife are the future, but you're taking away THEIR future by making them depressed.

And I don't believe that a God would ever ask you to commit polygamy. It's just inmoral, and it can't be God/Allah asking you that. God is much more smarter than that. This is what logic tells me. So committing polygamy will never make God happy, it will only make him disappointed. Even you know this. All the muslims I know here condemns polygamy.

"Yet, there are those who chose to worship others beside Allah as rivals to Him, loving them as they should love Allah, but the believers have greater love for Allah" (Qur'an 2165)

more then me you will need good luck with that statement in your post. rotfl

and also please recite your sahada again with full conviction this time, before you leave this world.

any ways good luck with your worldly affairs.

and by the way it is so stupid of you to think I dont love my wife.

and as far as making GOD is happy, I think polygamy and bringing more noble kids to world can be best gift to his creation.

I dont know about you, but I will stick with sunnah of prophet(s) and would try to imitate him all my life, and I will always support his way of life, no matter if whole world is against it.

  • Question about polygamy
    M Momeen

may be most of people think this is a bad thought and wrong action.

my personal thought is, this is a very noble action if the guy has caliber/love/respect and ability to treat all his wife equally (as prescribed) in QURAN.

this can solve many social problems and can be also fruitful for ISLAM and HAQ.

financially this can be hard to execute, but calling it immoral or degrading with dirty thoughts is absolutely wrong.

  • Question about polygamy
    M Momeen

Do you personally consider this moral? What does your wife think about this? What about your children? I'm sure that your children won't like it growing up knowing that their father had committed polagamy. Heck, they might even end up depressed! Even your wife will become depressed, hence the reason why you should seek a divorce(If you're serious), since your wife will only become more and more depressed. You'll only make it worse for the two of you.

It seems that you do not care about loving your wife while making her happy, but rather that you only seek to reach afterlife and make God happy. I agree with one of the persons here who said that if having children is your goal, then adopt, or have more children with only the person you're married to. And it's a disgrace how you refer to womens as "possesions".

Marriage should only stay between two people regardless of gender.

Yes, it's disgusting and a wrong thought. It's inmoral, and the act should be banned! Saudi-Arabia is probaly the only country that practises this, but most/all other countries have banned it, because they consider it stupid and primitive. Soon the act will be banned in Saudi-Arabia too, as they will also consider it stupid and primitive. This act is dying, as the world tend to become more civilized.

YES this is exactly my thoughts and I think every muslim should have ONLY this MISSION.

"It seems that you do not care about loving your wife while making her happy" this is not a correct statement and I think this is wrong as well, prophets did married many woman and I dont think they didnt loved their all wife or treated them as sex toys or birth machines, so this is not correct.

finally one sensible post after a long crappy talk lengthy 6 pages, Thank you, I appreciate it.

    Peace

  • Question about polygamy
    M Momeen

Read Surah al-Ahzab verse 50 again! The commandment in 3350 is only for Prophet, not for others.
And nowhere in the Qur'an does it say the Prophet slept with all his wives and had countless of children from all his wives.
If the ratio of male-to-female is 14 or 140 or 1100, I don't think polygyny is wrong in this case but we are living in an era which has the ratio of male to female is close to 11 worldwide, so it is reasonable for polygamous marriage to be banned in all countries.

If you expect to receive answer "oh my brother! Good that you are looking for more wives. It's our male nature to not be satisfied with only one wife." or any suchlike answers, go to shiachat or sunniforum.

do you want Quraan to discuss all personal life of prophet?

he married it means he did accepted them all as wife and gave them all their huquq.

seriously you are a lost case, and I dont think I should waste any more time on you discussing such sensitive issues.

    I wont reply further.

  • Question about polygamy
    M Momeen

According to hadiths that are invented by crazy men such as Bukhari etc, Mohammed married a six-year-old Aisha. Thank God the Qur'an doesn't say so. Instead, in verse 3350, the commandment in verse 3350 is only for the prophet.
Which other Prophets had multiple wives according to Quran? Or are you following Bible which says that Solomon slept with 300 wives and 700 concubines? Or hadiths that say Solomon had 70 wives?
Use common sense? So according to you having many kids by having four wives is sensible? nope
Verbal attacks on Quran? Which verse? 43? Does the verse say to make women as personal *** dolls and birth machines? NO! And I think you are too lazy to read reply #11. Most translations translate the verse as permission of polygamy but a few translate the verse as suggestion to marry OFF. But even if the majority is true, it still doesn't change the fact that the verse is only about being fair to orphans, not to make women as birth machines and personal *** dolls under the guise of marriage.
What? Because I am AGAINST the attitude of polygamy for making women as birth machines and personal *** dolls then my thought is questionable? Yes, it is questionable by mullahs, Islamists, Talibans who can't see women being respected.

read again prophet Muhammed didnt just married ayisha but few more couple of wives, and not just prophet Muhammed(s) many other prophet married and had many wives at a time.

you dont believe prophet Muhammed and any other prophets had multiple wives?

are your throwing mud and insults on all of them? Astagferullah AZIM hypno

btw just for confirmation are your Muslim?

Read the word "PERSONAL" sex dolls again. Read the word "BIRTH MACHINE" again. And I was talking about the type of POLYGAMOUS marriage that you are dreaming of. Not prostitution.

It still doesn't change the truth that you see you wives-to-be as personal sex dolls and birth machines in the so-called marriage.

You think 43 is about marriage to make women as things that satisfy your lusts and birth machines? And you expect God to respect men who misuse marriage as making women as personal dolls and birth machines? You are the one who is having dirt in your mind.

If you want more children, go adopt needy and poor orphans instead of making this world more overpopulated.

not just prophet Muhammed(s) even other prophets had multiple wives, are you saying all of those prophets treated their wives as slaves and sex machines? and GOD dont respect them?

sister please use your common sense and control your verbal attacks on prophets and Quraan.

your state of mind and thoughts are really questionable. '( , specially when it is coming from a female.

Make ad hominem attack instead of have valid arguments.

GOD will respect people who make women as personal sex dolls and birth machine?
    LOL.

I think you are the one who are making nasty comments and are also have very disgusting dreams.

And rational people will not use their opponents' age, background, race to discredit them in arguments / debates. Stop acting immaturely.

I am not talking about prostitution here, but a valid marriage and respect, seems your head is too much corrupt, get free from dirt in your brain, then you might understand this thread in much better way.

You can't bear criticism and you want me to get out? LOL. If you use your brain and rationality often, you wouldn't use someone's age as hominem attack against him/her.

    Read again #11.
The type of polygamy that you are dreaming of is making women as personal sex dolls and birth machine. That's why I view it as insult against female gender.

If you want to have more children, go adopt needy and poor orphans instead of having more children by selfish attitude and by not contributing anything to society.

I have already finished school and am going to be 18 a week later.

Unfortunately your mind is not fully mature because you want someone who seems "inferior" to you to get out because of her age to get out of this discussion.

    Insult?
You don't know the difference between insult and criticism? LOL.
If you have more than one wife, most normal people will have little to no respect for you. Except some extreme Islamists of course.
I know it coz I'm living in an Islamic country and polygamists do not earn respect from normal people including moderate Muslims except from Islamists and mullahs.
You whined about getting "insults" but just re-read your posts. You insulted huruf by asking her to get a job and you insulted me because of my age like I don't deserve for freedom of speech because I'm too "young".

You also do not seem to understand what Man of Faith meant in his post. He was not saying that polygamy is normal.

True love between a male soulmate and female soulmate is faithfulness, trust, commitment, honesty and kindness.

I can happily live with that. yeah respect and zillat is in ALLAH hands, and if I have respect near ALLAH, I dont care any thing else.

btw have you complete your school lessons? if not better finish it off first, and let this topic for adults.

I dont wish to continue on this thread, but kids keep coming up with silly comments so cant resist replying them back rotfl

I'm sorry, brother, some of your posts did make me wonder. I have been in this situation at least four times before. You will probably notice I have not done any direct recent posts advertising for a post. Sorry, Brither. It was wrong of me. I didn't mean to mock you.

Based on what i can see, people need to try and be more MORE polite and less insulting... like telling people to get a job... like wth??!!!

most online warriors like huruf are jobless lazy people who hardly earn any thing or holds any position in real world but when they get key board they think they are prophets and have rights to utter lies against any one.

I told him to call me and verify and he dont even have 5 $ to stand on his claim.

so there is no wrong to advice him to first get a simple JOB and then act like a online warrior.

If the phone number that you posted here is truly yours, then you are now in Australia.
Australia does not legalise polygamy so if you are too desperate of polygamy, get out of that civilized country.
Also, according to World Fact Book, in Australia men slightly outnumber women in groups that are below 65 years old.

I am not citizen and this rule doesnt applies on me, nor I will live here forever.

I follow Quraan and this is most civilized way for me to live my life, I dont care any other civility.
