Salam Ahmed, Very good quote about the condemnation of sects (there are others I believe)....but that conversation is for a different thread -) I was reading your reply (shukron for responding by the way) and I thought....wait a minute....perhaps you and I have it all wrong in one way...I think I remember reading that Allah knows what is in our hearts....so how can we deduce that someone who is doing all manner of bad things is not actually on their way (through some sort of relationship with God) to becoming guided on the right path..... Through out history there have been people (male and female) who were living lives that exhibited truly misguided behaviour and through some miracle were guided by Allah on the right path....People (prostitutes, theieves, murderers, etc) all of whom we would have believed to be doomed to eternal hell.....but through Allah's mercy they were guided to him and repented. In light of this thought, I'm re-evaluating my assumption that just because someone labels themselves through their actions or words today that they are on indeed "misguided" that does not mean that Allah will not put them on the straight path tomorrow. Thank you bro, Shukran for your reply, yep there are many verses that condemn dividing our religion, I have them all bro if you would like to read it My understanding to the Mashi'ah does not conflict with the info you added there, in fact it runs in perfect harmony, that Allah will know if a prostitute wants to repenet or not and cosequently He will help her to repent, but if she was internally happy prostituting herself then Allah will leave her miguided we can also use Omar Ibn Elkhatab as a possible example, while he looked a fierce enemy to Mohammad, the truth inside him may be something different and only Allah knows it, so it seems Omar was internally thinking about Islam and Allah made it easy for him In a way I accept both understandings that it can be the Mashi'ah of Allah because He is above all things and what He wants to do is what is going to happen 100% regardless, I also take it as the Mashi'ah of the people, i.e. Allah will know what is in their hearts and consequently He will guide the ones who are thinking a lot about him Please consider the following verses in the light of the second understanding 35- If anyone withdraws himself from remembrance of (Allah) Most Gracious, We appoint for him an evil one, to be an intimate companion to him. 36- Such (evil ones) really hinder them from the Path, but they think that they are being guided aright!
