In other words when you talk to many people - males and females - in arabic(plural) then you would refer to them as men. No translation is perfect.

The main problem I find with QXP is that it is almost impossible to use and conclude from it, because its not literal, you often have to check a word for word or other translations. But it is decent, and I often refer to it for a different view for awkward/unusual verses.
