I have not read the whole thread.
There is only conflict if you change deen to "relgion". If you make Deen, a straight and natural way, then the Quran works again .
Peace and blessings.

Sorry. Misunderstanding. I read "natural law" and thought "natural selection"

"the philosophy of liberty"
If you agree to all of these points and you take the thoughts down a natural progression of thinking, the eventual outcome will be astouding.

My personal thoughts.
Two other clarifications.
As an anarchist, not the puny kids that dont like rules kind of crazie, I do not subscrib to natural law. That is something of a mockery pushed by some times. I believe in the principle of volunteerism, which means you do what you chose to because the moral justification compels you. Better put, you help people because you chose to instead of being forced by The government to pay taxes in order to help someone you aren't compelled to help.
Satans will choose not to help and believers will chose to help, for the same reasons they chose to believe or not.
About the Quran question - as a deep questioner, I came to it and read it and agreed 100% and could not refute it intellectually. It agreed with everything that I found real and truthful and answered a multitude of questions.

My stance as an anarchist is very recent and has come after years of experience and study. I was once a marine, thus the title, however I am not now.
With that said, the philosophy that ultimately led me to this conclusion is the philosophy of liberty. Check the title and you will find it in a YouTube search. What led me to that philosophy was the Quran, upon which all of that philosophy is supported by the Quran.
My stance on anarchism is often misunderstood. I simply do not think that governments that control everyone is a necessary evil. It violates all liberty if the government is not chosen by all citizens, and since one citizen acting alone is not capable of fighting the forces that compel him in his own land, that force is unjust. The closest thing to righteousness is just and the furthest is injustice.
I don't mean to sound relativist at all, and I can assure that I believe that this standard SHOULD be uniform, but it is not.
Welcome back!
Thank you. Peace and Blessings. It is good to be remembered sometimes.
I don't personally see it, but I am never here.
hmm
1 - Were you born and raised by a religious muslim family ?
Nope
2 - Aside from finding the wrong in today's Islam (hadiths), which most see as the direct and irrefutable guidance from the One, why have you decided to affiliate yourself with the philosophy, or the spirituality, or the religion of islam ?
I don't. I am not religious, just a Muslim/ believer, and submitter, inshallah
3 - Do you think the quran is a book of law and subsequently subscribe to moral relativism, or rather do you think it is simply a reminder, because morality is shared and universal ?
It is a promise, guidance, law, and recommendations, and a warranty to the life we live.
4 - If you are a religious muslim, what in your opinion, is the use of the Quran ?
It is the only true and confirmed guidance that I use that confirms truth. I don't see it as a religious book, but as a book that all people can use.
5 - If rather, you view islam as a philosophy, what in your opinion is the use of the Quran ?
I do. It is a way of life, a Deen, and the answer to #4 fit. O0
6 - Do you pray ? If yes, why ?
I do. It is a form of meditation and connection seeking. I do no longer think that Salat is Prayer, but the exercising of Allah's command and sharing that command frequently. Rememberance and/or dhikr is prayer (from my studies of course).
7 - Do you think prayer is a concept that has any quranic grounding ?
I do. I think prayer is a way to remember and glorify.
8 - Do you believe ''Allah'' to be a single God ruling the universe, or do you rather subscribe to panentheism or pantheism ?
Allah is One. Creator of the box that we call the universe, belonging solely outside it, but governing all action and movements in.
9 - What is the political view supported by the Quran in your opinion ?
Free Market Anarchism, Small government libertarianism
It also supports all others that allow for religious freedom and movement without oppression, however those have to be true and sound. Personally, I don't think that any government is capable of providing justly, and I also think that the eventual outcome of all governments is injustice through taxation, usury, greed, and non-virtuous action. brickwall
All people are free to choose. All are equal. Allah gives everything. All are Allah's slaves and creation. No one is to be mistreated -----> All signs that point to no government and the maximization of virtuous actions.
10 - Who will be granted paradise, the good believer or the good atheist ?
"righteous" believing person that acts on his/ her belief and remembers Allah

I read far more information then I let on, as well as was raised in the tradition and doctrine. I talked to a number of persons, and yet I still disagreed.
Corrected that statement in the vid. simple verbal mistake and a lack of a word.
And Doctrines are formed by history. I do mean that the doctrines are not biblical, as they are changed and adobted over time. For instance, the Catholic church has a doctrine and that has been revised a multitude of times.
Doctrine (Latin doctrina) is a codification of beliefs or a body of teachings or instructions, taught principles or positions, as the body of teachings in a branch of knowledge or belief system. The Greek analogy is the etymology of catechism. Often doctrine specifically connotes a corpus of religious dogma as it is promulgated by a church, but not necessarily doctrine is also used to refer to a principle of law, in the common law traditions, established through a history of past decisions, such as the doctrine of self-defense, or the principle of fair use, or the more narrowly applicable first-sale doctrine. In some organizations, doctrine is simply defined as "that which is taught", in other words the basis for institutional teaching of its personnel internal ways of doing business.
peace
I used to think like this as well.
What I do now -
Imagine the earth (zoom out mentality and imagine the distance and size)
Imagine the Sun (zoom out)
Imagine the solar system (ZO)
Imagine the galaxy (ZO)
Imagine the Universe (ZO)
Imagine that the Universe is a spec of dust in another world (ZO)
Zoom out to nothing and then.........
YOUR MIND IS CLEAR AND IN AWE.
Like that scene in "Men in Black" Where the universe is a marble, but not so creepy.
