Where 'common thief' hands are being cut off and became a burden to the local economy.. (because they cannot work properly or find decent jobs) while high ranking officials / member of the royal families are free to 'steal' any public money that they want without facing any penalty.

ALLAH has been called al-haqq throughout the quran. That is, truth of the highest degree. His command/speech is truth (3884). Iblis did not accept his command/speech/truth (3874) and this act turned him into a rejector of truth. Firon's magicians accepted the truth when it came to them, when they were before rejectors. You cannot fault this interpretation because if ALLAH is indeed the truth then there is literally no way it can be wrong. As for the rest of the terms, a cross reference of these verses is all you need to clarify their meanings.

Why the truth interpretation? Because the idea of "believer" and "disbeliever" requires faith and faith is gambling on ignorance which is prohibited (1736). For such a thing to matter there is the assumption that there are many possible religions/truths/systems that all likely could be true. Is ALLAH uncertain about his creation?

Now if ALLAH knows for himself that He is the highest truth and his system is assured truth & justice, and that there can be no fault for those who follow his path of obvious and clear truth standing out from error, then why would his most esteemed people (mumin) be a bunch of people thinking "Yeah.... I'm kinda hoping this is all true"? Because that is what "belief" is!

Rather, the mumin are certain to meet their creator and they know how, why, when, where, they know the details, there is no room in their hearts to turn back. Can you turn back to thinking 2+2=5 after you know 2+2=4? It just doesn't work. "Muslims" are those who have faith, mumin know with certainty.

Key point; the truth can be proven to be true. A belief about higher beings can never be tested because only the true belief exists, the others are all unfalsifiable. Indeed "belief/disbelief" is simply a weaker statement than acceptance/rejection. If you accept/see truth, you believe anyway. If you believe, you do not necessarily need to see truth, you can hope/imagine it's there. How useless!

To be honest, I`ve seen quite a few discussions, that aims to turn Islam, into something very worldly. No spirits, No heaven, no hell, no angels. All these are explained away. What is left, is pretty much humanitarian atheism, though supposedly with a divinity. It seems doubtful that they have any love for this divinity aswell. So it might just be a block of wood to them.

If in there is another source besides the quran that we have to follow, and that the quran tells us to follow this source, it does not make the quran incomplete since he told you to follow this source. Telling you to follow this source or to make the informations contained in this source inside the quran is the same since we have to follow these informations.

I would have to agree with this statement. After all, aren't Arabic lexicons "another source" besides the Qur'an? Yet we go to them to understand the Arabic language, and we need to understand the language in order understand the Qur'an (and the Qur'an confirms that we should).

One question I do have though for you is this aren't all the other usages of the word "daraba" figurative expressions, like the english expression "I'm going to hit the road"? When you say "I'm going to hit the road" it doesn't mean that you go out to the road and punch it, it means that you're going to depart. But when you say "I'm going to hit the woman" that's not really an expression for anything besides beating her, even if there are figurative expressions out there that use the word "hit"...

The article clarifies the meaning of certain parts of the verse in order for the whole thing to make sense in context to what was being talked about in the previous verses (4157-15. Once we realize this, we come to this conclusion

"All of the People of the Book will most certainly believe in this (that Jesus died on the cross) before his (actual) death. And on the day of Judgment he will be a witness against them."

"In other words, the verse can be illustrated as The Jews and the Christians will continue to believe that Jesus died on the cross but he died later on and not at the time of crucifixion. The "before his death" has to be read in context. Nothing indicates that he has yet to die. It means the People of the Book will believe Jesus died on the cross, before he actually died (which was later on, and not at the time of his crucifixion). In other words, the People of the Book thought Jesus died before he REALLY died.

The command does not change from the spouse at all. The Quran is often efficient with its wording, as long as one uses their logic when reading it, e.g.

435 is linked to 434 with "wa/and", and in 435 the "And if YOU" is plural and can only refer to the authority (which every translation recognises, as far as I'm aware). So, it is clear the authority have been notified by 435 - but according to all translations, Quran does not mention how such a thing came about. Now, this info on its own, may not sound like much, but when ALL other info in Quran points to one answer only, then it only leaves one viable option - "cite them".
