If the Qur'an had been revealed to a prophet who lived among the Eskimos, it would mention fur coats and hoods, eating fish, maybe it would mention fishing through holes in the ice etc.

Nobody would conclude from this that Muslims should wear fur coats or fish through holes in the ice, regardless of where and when they are living.

I'm not saying he is God, BUT he is the son of God. The only and one, mediator between God and people. Soon you will see two witnesses, that will be your last chance. Be prepared my friend. God bless

The Egyptians believed their pharaoh was both a god and a monarch. A monarch is a king or a queen. Egypt was ruled by many pharaohs, but a few stand out. Like the one mentioned in the Quran and some that built extravagant tombs which stood the test of time.

All pharaohs lived their lives and had their bodies mummified while the one mentioned in the Quran drowned.

I have one suggestion for some people who lack basic mutual respect for one another, whose purpose is only to make a free display of their sarcasms and hatred via their postings - Just ignore them! )

Its highly unlikely that the Jinns were worms as the Quran says of their substance/creation, as such

015.027 And the Jinn race, We had created before, from the fire of a scorching wind.

They have freewill just like us

018.050 Behold! We said to the angels, "Bow down to Adam" They bowed down except Iblis. He was one of the Jinns, and he broke the Command of his Lord. Will ye then take him and his progeny as protectors rather than Me? And they are enemies to you! Evil would be the exchange for the wrong-doers!

They have independent capability of freewill to do things just like us

027.039 Said an 'Ifrit, of the Jinns "I will bring it to thee before thou rise from thy council indeed I have full strength for the purpose, and may be trusted."

They also receive revelations & messengers from God, just like us

006.130 "O ye assembly of Jinns and men! came there not unto you apostles from amongst you, setting forth unto you My signs, and warning you of the meeting of this Day of yours?" They will say "We bear witness against ourselves." It was the life of this world that deceived them. So against themselves will they bear witness that they rejected Faith.

They were also worshipped as God just the like humans were (Christ, Sai Baba, Buddha)

006.100 Yet they make the Jinns equals with God, though God did create the Jinns; and they falsely, having no knowledge, attribute to Him sons and daughters. Praise and glory be to Him! (for He is) above what they attribute to Him!

Salaam to all of you!

I am new here, but not new to this concept. I was active in a muslim organization as a volunteer, where I used to hold talks to people interested in Islam. I was also actively debating Christians and replying letters to Christian fanatics officially, as well. I felt good and great and was appreciated for my knowledge and work.

One day, my friend who was helping out in the Audio Section passed me a book on the rejection of the hadith and later, Hadith a Re-evaluation by Dr Kassim. I felt very small after reading it. I was convinced that we, the muslims are in error in our practices.

From then on my journey in search for true islam was very fulfilling but tumultuous! Thanks to all the brothers and sisters who stood by their faith along the way while being branded as apostates. Three of my working colleagues along with me were branded as "murtads" and were ostracized. Till today the ostracism still stands and we are only in talking terms concerning work. The initial years were very traumatic and stressful. I am glad its over and that we are in a better position to practise true islam now. )
