Just as an advice, don't tell you parents anything that might make them upset, unless you can live independently.
you can advise your parents, but you can't necessarily guide them, and vice versa.

Should gay marriage be legal?I would like to set a dichotomy between "Same-sex attraction" and the modern label of "Gay"
-
First, one has to look at the wording. God did not say to be "Straight/Bi/Gay". That is a made up term, that is not found in any Abrahamic scripture. All of the scriptures site the act itself, they don't define a person by a solidified term as "Straight/Bi/Gay", as society does today.
God in all scriptures states/alludes to Not having sex with the same gender, but he did not say you cannot be attracted to them. This makes a difference -
God knew that some people are going to have some form of attraction to the same gender, That would be a reason why he instructed us to only have sexual relationships with a spouse
Hint If there was no way/inclination that people are going to have same-sex sexual relationships, then there was no need for God to instruct us about it at all. Clearly, God didn't say "Don't like/be attracted to the same gender", he would be saying "Don't FOLLOW UP upon your desire/attraction and consummate them with same-sexual relationships, as you're only allowed to have sexual relationships with your spouse."
Thus, As I believe, having same-sexual attraction, is not the sin itself, it's when that is acted upon and then consummating a same-sexual relationship. I see same-sexual attraction as a test, just like other test. We might have a desire for something which is actually harmful for us, and also, detest something which is beneficial for us (2216) -
God sets a trait of the believers as "Guard/protect their private parts" (235). The Question is, why do we need to guard them for? They must be more vulnerable , for them to have to be protected. The vulnerability could be better seen when you put attraction and love in the picture, which most of the times sets grounds for sexual relationships.
-
So by society's standards and definition, I say You can be perfectly Gay (have same-sexual attraction), and still go to heaven, so long as you abstain upon acting upon your desires and have same-sex consummated relationships. This goes for Heterosexuals as well, everyone need to abstain from acting upon their desires (Just look at the story of Joseph and his master's Wife trying to seduce him (Which to note, he fell into, but God protected him nevertheless) (1224). That would be a clear example to why God cited as a trait of the believers "those who protect their private parts" (235). Thus, as a believer, you must protect your private parts, from even your own desires.
I believe this is a more balanced way of thinking, as someone told me.

Should gay marriage be legal?I personally support marriage, whether hetero or Same-Sex.
This is because marriage is less lewd than having open multiple relationships.
In marriage you have commitments, it's not as easy to just break a marriage, than it is a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. You have one partner instead of a hundred. So for these reasons, I support marriage, whether hetero or same-sex. We cannot force people to believe, nor can we force people to stop doing wrong.
If you hinder people from getting married, then their is no tie between them, and thus there is a higher chance of splitting up, and having multiple partners, and more lewdness would be practiced. A single partner would thus be better.

So alone (almost no muslims friends)You're not alone, There are a lot of people with similar beliefs on Facebook. Especially in the group

Your story is similar to a lot of people here. Feel free to look around the forum. You can also find us Facbook -
Animal vertilizationwhile it doesn't happen often, nor can it happen with all species. Some species that are close to one another can do that, natural or not. Sometimes the offspring is sterile so they themselves can't reproduce. I think another example includes horse + donkey...

Gay Marriage Has Been Legalized in FranceThing that bothers me here is that some people, including you, actually trying to say that homosexuality is not forbidden in islam?...
You have misunderstood what i said. I stated that same-sex sexual activities are lewd.
Also, I have to disagree that the Quran is against Feminism. Men and women have Rights in the Quran, yes they are differences, but all have rights.
Women can be rulers if they wanted to, just like the Queen of Sheba. She was the queen before and after she submitted to God, nothing was said negative/against her for being a Queen, but instead just for worshiping the Sun. In fact, she criticizes Kings because they usually make the living situation worse, maybe because of their tyranny.

Gay Marriage Has Been Legalized in FrancePS my post is basically addressing people like sonny.
I am sorry but I find hypocrites claiming that they worship God when what they worship is their hatred, arrogance, ego and ignorance. If homosexuality is indeed a sin, have you thought about how you can help save a soul from hellfire? Instead you would much rather call homosexuals satanic filth adding to the pain and suffering that these kids already feel as they are confused, lost and isolated. When I was a kid, I asked my mom why are there poor people? Why would God create poor people? What my mom said always stuck with me. God tests us by how we treat and take care of people.
If indeed God created some people gay, the greater test is on me. I would rather help a kid struggling with his sexuality letting him know God is loving, caring, forgiving than make him feel worse about himself. I would rather save a soul than lead a soul to kill himself. If homosexuality is a choice, I would rather try to understand her choices and help make better choices.
This is the Islam that i choose to follow. so, no i do not follow your islam of hatred and abusive language.
My belief is Quite the same. I'd rather save than condemn. God might give you the same treatment as you treat others, a taste of your own medicine.... so play nice kids )
As it is written,
"...He will requite those who commit evil for their works, and will reward those who do Good with Goodness. (5133)P.S Homosexuality is not the only sinful thing perceived out there. Tyranny, corruption, and crime in my eyes, are worse offenses. Think Pharaoh, Hypocrites, and people of 'ad
How hypocritical for people to harbor hate and detestment for homosexuals, while not harboring the same for other offenses? The word is full of corruption, cheating and bloodshed. Please wake up from your Homophobia, there are worst people out there.

Gay Marriage Has Been Legalized in FranceWhat's up with All the hate and prejudice? What's up with all the spewing of vile venom?
God did not say "don't be gay (i.e be attracted to the same gender)", rather, the commandment was to ONLY have sexual relations with your heterosexual spouse.
There is a difference and enlightenment here. God set limits because he KNEW that people CAN transgress them. Meaning that there will be people out there who will have an inclination to have sexual relationships with the same gender AND go ahead and act upon there desires.
There is a reason why God cited a quality of believers as GUARDING their private parts. What do we need to guard/protect our private parts from? well, your desires might be one thing to protect them from...
Moreover, some people might be attracted to children or even animals, again God set limits, THUS, it's not whether you like something or not, it's whether you act upon your desires.
When i was young, I used to be attracted to guys and in a lesser degree girls. I can say for myself, My sexuality was a learned behavior. Sorry Mr. Sonny I grew up in a muslim country (Egypt) where they separated sexes, and all there you had was boys, at school, at the play ground, and at home. so go figures what will the boys do! I didn't choose to be in that kind of environment where sexes were separated and boys were boys, and thus resulting in same-gender attraction.
Now I have totally changed into being asexual. Sexuality is not a drive for me. I have other important things to care for, like my own survival. But nevertheless, i don't like people condemning gays, because sometimes it's how people were brought up. My case is an example. You can only enlighten and advice them.
Mr. Sonny, Yes I support gay marriage. Have you not noted that there is NO COMPULSION in religion? Are you going to force people not to sin?
I believe gay marriage is better than having open relationships. Because marriage requires commitment. I believe that marring ONE same-sex partner is more righteous than having MULTIPLE same-sex partners out of wedlock. (My belief is that, if you can't stop a sinner (by advising them etc.), then at least help them sin in a better way)Again, God doesn't say "Don't be sexually attracted to the same gender", he would be saying, "Don't ACT upon your desires/attractions"and " Only have sexual relations with your (hetero) spouse)

Gay Marriage Has Been Legalized in FranceAlthough I view same-sex sexual activities as lewd, I Personally Support Gay Marriage. That's because there is less of a "tying factor" in relationships in the Gay community, meaning that there is more break-ups in Relationships in the Gay Community. Thus marriage would be better to keep people together, instead of going out and having a relationship after the other, and thus commit more lewd acts with multiple people instead of 1.
I say Let them marry!

malakat ayanuhum - Arabic gender endings?malakat aymanukum = what your (plural+maculine or mix of Masculine+ feminine) hands posses
malakat aymanuhunna = what your (plural + feminine) hands posses
malakat yaminuka (?) = what your (singular+masculine) hand possess
malakat aymanukun - what your (plural + feminine) hands posses -
Harassment of Quran aloners for being kuffarSister, We've been called all kind of names. I have been called a kafir, a devil worshiper, an apostate.
At first i was scared and to my self. Now i am less and less afraid. My imperfect experiences in my life lead me to change, by God's will, My fears turned into Anger, and my anger into fearlessness, and my fearlessness turned into boldness.
Just like the magicians of Moses, once they saw the truth they did not care what the tyrant pharaoh threatened them of... "crucify us if you want, we now know truth!" thus the truth set them free...
Tell him to Fear none but God these are just humans with big mouths, and to Try to emigrate if he could or take asylum as a refuge etc.

KHAYZURAN: Zoroastrianism and Islam in Relation to Ritual Prayer (Salat/Namaz)!The 5 salat can be traced back to the Jewish tradition.
http//www.alsadiqin.org/en/index.php?title=Prayer_PositionsThere are some things, not given step by step detailed that are still part of the religion. Salat and zakat are not given step by step, but still, as my current belief stands, they're still part of the religion.
The same issue is with the previous scriptures, focusing on the Torah, there is no real mention of an after life or heaven or hell.... and some Jewish sects deny such existence of a hell even today. Some say these beliefs were Incorporated into Judaism after the Babylonian Exile (because at that time, Zoroasternism was one of the major religion... which of course had the belief of a heaven and hell)...
Yet, eventhough such beliefs were not detailed in the Torah, Both the NT and the Quran both verify that there is a hell and a heaven.I personally now accept the Salat mathod brought forth by Rashad Khalifa, with minor differences in what is said.

Wandering revert comes to Free MindsTrue, but there is a fine line between shirk and Risalah - often they become one and the same. Basically in my mind, once one imparts divine-like qualities like infallibility to a human being which is what Qadiani Ahmadis do to Qadiani and Baha'is do to Baha'u'llah then it crosses that line to me. As Earthdom pointed out Lahore Ahmadis view Mirza Ghulam Ahmad as a reformer.
You know, some of us follow Rashad Khalifa's teachings (aka Submitters), but do not impart him as a divine being at all, rather as a messenger of God, just like others were. He was the one who is credited to revive the "Quran alone" movement.
