Hello Neptin, The most important factor is that 'qatal' does not mean kill. Besides there are other accounts in which Moses is encountering a different event than in Bible and Quran. For example, in Josepheus account he is the victim of a conspiracy towards him. When reconsidering the translation of the passages with Moses my translation revealed that the event was similar to what Josepheus tells, i.e. he tries to convince people of his enlightenment but fails and has to flee. After that he comes to the cave from which he senses a kind of energy and there he senses Rabb calling for him. Rabb gives him stronger signs to show the people and his brother to back him up so he is not lonely. I actually forgot to mention something. We do require some external knowledge to understand Quran. It has lots of things from almost all areas of our lives. So even experience and observation matter. Unfortunately, we are not educated in every field and don't live in the same country for which it can be difficult for the agreement occur. But the search is still on. I agree that not all translations are trying to mislead. But have you read a modern Sunni translation lately? The last one I picked up had more brackets talking about hadith's and sal alayhe wassalam then actual Quran translation

In response to all your questions about the shahada with Muhammad in it the problem really is that good tells us what the correct shahada is in the Quran. That the shahada of God, the angels and those with knowledge is ' there is no God but him' So Muhammad is out of the question. God gives us examples in the Quran. It was really low of Kuwait to expell 400,000 Palestinians (most of who obviously were oppressed by Saddam themselves). Most Palestinians that were expelled didin't even support Saddam, and most Palestinian politicians weren't exactly a fan of Saddam but rather opposed. What they merely argued was that it should have been the Arab countries who should have dealt with Saddam instead of the US. Arafat's top aide Abu Iyad for example vowed to stay neutral and opposed an alliance with Saddam but was assassinated some days later. Salaam, Yes. God could create a God and we who pass the test here will be like mini-gods when we leave this life. When you exist in the image of Allah then you are basically a god, even if that you in all are only one. It is you who thus should not exist but you exist in Allah and Allah exists in you in symbiosis. This is how Jesus was misunderstood and deified. For clarification can be said though that in real there are no "gods" however but only one kind of consciousness that one can choose to be part of. 'The Borg' in Star Trek are a good example of how it works. But existing it is like being a god. Salaam Yes Allah has created Gods but not another Allah. Allah is not God. God is a creation, we achieve godhood when Allah allows us to use the attributes (commonly the 99 names) that he gave to humans. We use them everyday mostly to develop and create civilisation and of course to overpower other humans. But only the very few achieve so called godhood, but when these individuals achieve this status they behave at the optimum level a human being can achieve where the world is made to serve them however their appreciation of Allah is greater thus the individual no longer have common desire to rule like a God but rather enjoy lasting blissful peace in Allah unless Allah assigns the individual for specific task (eg the individual who Moses was supposed to learn from). Isa brought the 'good news' after the 10 commandments and corruptions that followed, but the concept is complicated to comprehend just like when the Quran states I am close to you than your jugular vein. In this case, how could Abraham be a Warner for his offspring who he only settled or delegated to a specific location? Remember warners come to towns where people transgress in affluence and wealth and etcetera. If Abraham is your concern then it is not too sound. He contradicts himself by going with the continuous decline and then arbitrarily claiming there is a decline in the afternoon. If you go with continuous decline, why stop at afternoon? That's one of the main flaws. I actually believe there are two obligatory prayers morning and evening( dawn and before sunset) including the middle most important salat in the middle of the night. if the command is to establish the prayer at the continuous decline that would suggest that the prayer is from the noon all the way until sundown. What astrological event would indicate asr? For noon at least we have shadows There are two perfect astrological events sunrise and sundown and they are mentioned continuously through out the Book they are the foundation. Furthermore they are mentioned by name. Why name only two if there are five. It requires more than just grammatical analyses, but contextual as well.
