I think next on the list for me would be The Quran's "hikma/wisdom/judgement". Not only does The Quran contain specific laws and limits, it also contains hikma/wisdom/judgement, that if understood correctly, one can apply it to every situation, including those not specifically encountered in The Quran. I often used to wonder why The Quran contained so much info, so many stories, laws etc. when I thought having a few basic rules would do, but what I didn't factor in was that The Quran is meant to cover all situations in life and if you think about it, trying to cover all situations in life is impossible, so the only way to deal with this is to give oneself a grounding in hikma/wisdom/judgement. Not to mention people learn in different ways thus it does have different delivery techniques in the way it teaches us.

6116 If you obey the majority of those on earth they will lead you away from God's path; that is because they follow conjecture, and that is because they only guess. Most of the people ,at the time of islam, were the pagans ,jews or Christians ? If the 'majority' refers to jews and christians, does that mean we shouldn't obey them ? But in some verses, god order us to adhere to the words in the bible, so should we obey them or not ? It's about animals where a female animal stands a category by itself. Animals for entertainment, race..etc are different from animals for servitude. Peace. From what I believe, you are correct. This verse (7833) is speaking of well-matched/balanced spouses/companions - it's reference is to males and females. The other verses say 5556 - "...beautiful mates unknown to human or jinn." 5570 - "In them are beautiful mates." 5622,23 - "Beautiful mates, like sheltered pearls." 5634-38 - "Luxurious furnishings, we create for them mates, never previously touched, perfectly matched." (55-5 The word "like" is a translation for the arabic word "KaAnhoon", which only can refer to Females. They will recline (with ease) on Thrones (of dignity) arranged in ranks; and We shall join them to Companions, with beautiful big and lustrous eyes. 5220 This appeals to a certain type of demographic who may see that as beautiful, it doesn't have the universal appeal that the rest of the Qur'an does, which is why I ask the question, has meaning been changed in translation? Yes that would be a good start. The important point being a start is made somewhere. I came across this problem of a lack of a simple Quranic list when I was working on the common misconceptions about Islam stuff. We really have a lot of work to do.

Peace "arnab", You used this logical fallacy to "prove" that the Quran is the true Word of GOD by intending to prove the Quran with just verses from the Quran. Then in another post you claimed that you "knew the truth like you know your children" which is just a bold claim which any religious person from any religion can make. Still it doesnt prove anything much less that the Quran is the Word of GOD. So can you without resorting to further fallacies provide evidence as to why you beleive the Quran is the Word of GOD? The prior verses are discussing breaking of rules / hostilities, not actually beliefs which 838 clearly shows by saying all is forgiven if they cease this. 499 is an excellent reminder. Another verse showing ACTIONS rank greater than BELIEFS. That is key. I would also add that "al deen" in the context of 839 may be referring to a real world society-type structure rather than refernce to a religion/belief, as in 912 ("assail IN YOUR deen&quot. Also, doesn't the "hu" in "kulluhu" refer to "al deen", so what is all for God is "al deen", NOTHING ELSE. If so, I would translate and explain it as "until their is no fitna and the system/obligation (i.e. that which is due) becomes all of it for God." So that "al deen" is for God, not that everyone living/participating in "al deen" is a believer in God, but "al deen" is a real world structure which corresponds to God's guidelines/laws. This real world structure should all of it, be for God, which is synonymous with in accordance to God's law.

JK- So any book which states that it is from GOD and has not been proven to be tampered is truly from GOD? Is that your logic? Ironically, this chapter is often used to show hatred towards non-believers, e.g. the oft quoted out of context "kill them wherever you find them" verse but this chapter is one of the most powerful chapters there is on inter-faith relations. Secondly, since The Quran recommends verify , seek knowledge, discusses loads of questions from "people of the book" and their revelations it is inevitible that exposure to and study of other faiths would take place. The Quran never advocates blind following of any religious figure, verify, seek knowledge, best is most righteous, listen to what is said and follow what is best etc.
