Peace brother Belalhammad I dont mean to offend you, nor do I want to start a debate. So please do not be angered by my comments. You dont understand brother Arnolds veiws. To my understanding of his ideas hell and heaven begin here and will continue in the afterlife. He to my knowledge is not denying the next life. Also he never denys personal responsibility before God (to my reading of his theorys). Alot of your critism is faulty because Arnold is not saying the things you are critising. He only thinks (agian to my reading of his theorys) that heaven and hell begin here and will contine in the next life. He also belives that the Quran is more about society than the indivdual. Not that you are judged by God according to societys wrongs our rights. He says in one article (or was Shabbir) that you are responsible for your deeds. If you try to understand brother Arnolds ideas and beliefs you will find less matriel to critise. I think you must camly read his articles. If you do their will be less debate. God bless all Lareb sun peace Peace, I think Arnold is very clear in what he Posted; but if he did not mean what I understood, then he can write and say that. Peace

For example 8712 He will enter the great Fire. The bolded bit is commune. Obviously the 2 entities are human and fire. Their communion would be that the human is being burnt and the fire is being fueled.

Salaam That makes them Mushriq and, according to my understanding Mushriq and Munafiqoon are in the same category, as one takes partners to God and the others take the world aound them as more powerful than God. peace Peace, If you look at My signtuer you will note that anybody associate (add man made teachings) to God's Religion more what have been discribed in the Book, he or she fall in Shirk (Associating Lies). handshake

Would it matter if it was We or I? Not at all. God knows what we do not know... and this may be one of the things we just don't know. I just wanted to know if "We" was the correct translation. Peace, dotty

Every sin in Christianity is forgiveable execept for blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. Matthew 12 31And so I tell you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. 32Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come. And that which is called the "Holy Spirit" is the same as what is called the "Nafs"...the subconcious. It is the subconcious that directs the events of your life. He who purifies it succeeds and who corrupts it fails. Salam, In Matthew 31-32 the ruh and ruh qudos is being spoken of not the nafs. nafs and ruh are two seperate things. Mohammad had the Holy Scriptures from GOD in his presence. Yes. Salam, Arnab

Salaam Al Araf, Equity = Something that is fair and just. Equilvalent = Equal in value. Sorry to say, but I don't see much of a difference. But, if we go with equity (fair and just)... then who decides what is fair and just? The government, the victim, the victim's family? You mentioned that Islamic law has a different method of arriving at equity. Much appreciated if you show me this from the Quran. Thank you in advance. Peace, dotty

Interestingly enough, there is the Catholic communion, which unfortunately is devalued by the material attachments to it in the catholic doctrine, but which in its spiritual meaning would be participating in the same spiritual nourishment, like getting together to be nourished by God's nourishment, by the certainty of his existence, by the certainty that he is alive and living, the source of all life and of everything, commune all in that or, to use once more the Catholic name holy communion, where only the consciousness of God exists. Salaam

Peace "dotty", Oh "ill study it more" was your answer to those qs of mine too? I thought that was just in regards to the common ancestry video. GOD Bless! Thank you brother. Yes, I have to take proper time to watch the video completely and research the Quran accordingly. My time has been rather pressed in these days... that is why I need to study it more. I want to take the time when my home is quiet... which has not been for a few days. Inshallah, when I do, I will totally understand what you are trying so hard to explain to me. I do appreciate your passion! Thanks for understanding. God bless you more and more, dotty

Peace It says peace be upon them several times most of them in the sura 37 - Ranged in Rows, here you are 'Peace be upon Noah among all nations!' 3777 and we let them be praised by succeeding generations 'Peace be upon Abraham!' 37108-109 We let them be praised by succeeding generations 'Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!' 37120-121 We let them be praised by succeeding generations 'Peace be to Elijah!' 37129-130 And most important of all Your Lord, the Lord of Glory, is far above what they attribute to Him. Peace be upon the messengers and praised be to GOD the Lord of all the Worlds 37180-182 Here the MESSENGERS and GOD are said in the SAME BREATH!!! just like the Sunni Shahadah...Does that mean its shirk? but these are the Words of God, does that mean God is contradicting Himself? No! Because when GOD says peace be upon the messengers it means peace be upon them for the MESSAGE they delivered about devotion to God alone which is why it links on to the most important conclusion of all "praise be to God the Lord of all the Worlds". As the God says 'truly they were among Our faithful servants' They acted out God's duties for them and they were faithful therefore their examples of MESSENGERSHIP and nothing else is something we must all strive for to attain PEACE. Which is why God says Peace be upon them for the example they represented so that anyone who sees them as an example to follow ONLY in what is given in the Qur'an and no separate fancy story MAY have Peace upon them from the Lord of the Worlds. Don't let anyone tell you there is anything wrong with saying Peace be upon the messengers. But we must understand the REASONS why we say it and we must not let it become obsessive compulsive like saying Insha'Allah without being conscious of it. I think we should be conscious of everything we say and know that by following the example of the MESSENGERS (which is what they are referred to in sura 37, God is very specific about wording) and wishing peace on the examples they represented is NOT bad or shirk or anything, It's in the Glorious Qur'an so you can see for yourself. We must not make mistakes of thinking some things are in error because they are in the Hadith when they may also be in the Qur'an just the interpretation or the meaning behind it may have changed. What you must understand is that there is no compulsion in God's system, God says peace be upon them so you know them as examples to follow. When you recite the Qur'an at night you will see these words as well if you read sura 37 all the way through, this means you are repeating the message out loud in your head for clarity and emphasis. You will emphasise these points and hopefully will lose doubt about saying Peace be upon blah. Whether peace is said before or after the name is not relevant. Peace Well Done, and may God increase your Wisdom peace

Peace be upon you, The earth is the plane of CHANGE, this is where we come to CHANGE. Once our time is up here it is like the dream world, where you have no control, no ability to change. (death is likened to sleep). So do not sit around waiting to be "given grace", get active in reprogramming your subconcious/nueral connections and CHANGE your behavior now before it is too late.

  • Do children have any rights in the quran? where?

Salaams, just reading this ayah where are the rights of children? In verse 4-20, God is telling us regarding divorce; but the following are what we should do regarding the rights of our kids (these are some of the verses and not all) (&#1635 The mothers shall breastfeed their offspring for two whole years, if the father desires to complete the term. But he shall bear the cost of their food and clothing on equitable terms. No soul shall have a burden laid on it greater than it can bear. No mother shall be treated unfairly on account of her child Nor father on account of his child. An heir shall be chargeable in the same way if they both decide on weaning, by mutual consent, and after due consultation There is no blame on them. If ye decide on a foster-mother for your offspring there is no blame on you provided ye pay (the mother) what ye offered, on equitable terms. But fear Allah and know that Allah sees well what ye do. (2-233) (&#1633 Allah (thus) directs you as regards your children's (inheritance) to the male, a portion equal to that of two females if only daughters, two or more, their share is two-thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is a half. For parents a sixth share of the inheritance to each if the deceased left children; if no children, and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third; if the deceased left brothers (or sisters), the mother has a sixth. (The distribution in all cases is) after the payment of legacies and debts. Ye know not whether your parents or your children are nearest to you in benefit. These are settled portions ordained by Allah; and Allah is All-Knowing All-Wise. (4-11) (&#1639 Even so, in the eyes of most of the Pagans (Moshrekeen), their `partners' made alluring the slaughter of their children in order to lead them to their own destruction, and cause confusion in their religion. If Allah had willed, they would not have done so but leave alone them and their inventions. (6-137) (&#1633 Say "Come I will rehearse what Allah hath (really) prohibited you from" join not anything with Him; Be good to your parents kill not your children on a plea of want; provide sustenance for you and for them; come not nigh to shameful deeds, whether open or secret; take not life, which Allah hath made sacred, except by way of justice and law thus doth He command you, that ye may learn wisdom. (6-151) (&#1639 They ask thy instruction concerning the women. Say Allah doth instruct you about them and (remember) what hath been rehearsed unto you in the Book, concerning the orphans of women to whom ye give not the portions prescribed and yet whom ye desire to marry, as also concerning the children who are weak and oppressed that ye stand firm for justice to orphans. There is not a good deed which ye do, but Allah is well-acquainted therewith. (4-127) Peace

Salam nimnimak Thank you for your question about the meaning of Rahm. I have a rule that I use when searching for the meaning of a word. I look through the instances in which the word, in thi case Rahm, as used in the Quran. After collecting those results I assemble the verses together in one place and read them through. This then forms the basis for my understanding of the meaning of the word. Yes, I use the Quran in many ways, this is another way to use the Quran. Allah is perfect, he made a perfect Quran, I use his perfect Quran to give me the perfect meanings of words. Allah is knowing wise.

Example of why it is not subjective. If I say "Me and my sister are just alike we both come from our Mother and Father" That is not a contradictive statement. Because I am sayin we are alike only on these terms. I am not sayin we are both female, both the same age or both the same in every way shape or form. In this statement we are only alike in Mother and Father giving us life. The first part gives us the idea, the second part gives us the PRECISE context. This is the same in the verse we are disputing about. Now if you read that statement any way else that is your misinterpretation. Because that sentence is clear, it only refers to the Mother and Father. Just as the verse in the Qur'an refers to only creation from dust. As you know Man is either created from dust or sperm. Since God says they are both from dust, then they are not from sperm. Therefore they are just alike they both did not come from spurting fluid. There can be no bias involved, it is just logical. Peace Hang on! peace
