    Peace. 531 GOD then sent a raven to scratch the soil, to teach him how to bury his brother's corpse. He said, "Woe to me; I failed to be as intelligent as this raven, and bury my brother's corpse." He became ridden with remorse. 1659 Ashamed, he hides from the people, because of the bad news given to him. He even ponders should he keep the baby grudgingly, or bury her in the dust. Miserable indeed is their judgment. 8110 The girl who was buried alive is asked Is cremating allowed. ? Peace. Peace, Respectfully. Did God prohibit cremating humans? If yes, one must probide a verse from The Quran. Besides, we cannot prohibit or allow what God Himself did not prohibit or allow. Only God can prohibit and/or allow. Human is obediant. Glory be to our God. Peace.

And both view will still lead to GOD ALONE through QURAN ALONE Indeed, brother, we are in agreement on this. May Allah increase us in knowledge.... Yes, and He is the knowledgeable and wise. GOD willing, may He lead us all to agreement. Peace, Ahmad

    Excuse me, but If you teach arabic, you should know the basics, 1st, 2nd and 3rd person pronouns. Why are you asking me questions that ONE the answer is in the ayah, TWO they are basic arabic grammar references? Peace I did say I teach arabic but I do not remember that I claim to be an arabic expert... I teach in primary schools... from 6yr old to 12yr old... NAA can be used for dual and plural.... I am asking why you said that the NAA is for DUAL... this is my question... Regards

    Criticizing hajj rituals or saying that prayer that does not fulfill its purpose is meaningless is not criticizing those who pray or go to hajj. If you are honest enough, do not take phrases off context. If you have a post of mine merely criticizing those who pary and go to hajj, please show it. Same thing. If you have any post of mine where I say I do not believe in hell nor heaven, present it or withdraw your claim. When it comes to atheist it?s not your business to judge them but you are wary of one who prays and fasts and you avoid delivering a straight answer. Your crooked reply below did target those who pray and fast Quote from belalhammad on November 02, 2008, 072951 PM Do you believe that Rituals fix ones' Souls? Straight answer, Please. My answer Would you trust anyone just because you see them pray? Fast? Pray and fast? Is this another of your crooked replies ??? Quote from aalmakto on Yesterday at 125322 AM 1033 Except those who believe, and do good works, and support one another with the truth, and support one another with perseverance. Where's believing in the existance of God and in being held accountable to Him? For (whom to be called believer, see 494) No accountability, to me, means no hell and no heaven, unless you have some other bent theory.

    Salam Sister Majidah, Yes, thats what I mean. Here is another piece of information. When one studies the Qur'an, it can be seen that the therm "disease in the hearts" have been exclusively used in the Qur'an to refer to hyprcitical people. When I did some research, I believe I found up to 6 instances, and that was not a through research. There is a CONSISTANT correlelation. Therefore, there is no reason to assume that "those with a disease in the hearts" in this Verse under discussion here is refering to any other than the hypocrites. Its just a different way to refer to hypocrites as this is how the Qur'an has used the very term all the way several times through out the Qur'an. You will also find Verses which tell us and the Prophet to not to obey the hypocrites, and this Verse is telling the wives of the Prophet to not do this. It has nothing to do with softenig the voice, but rather it is to do with choosing words. Thats all. I am eager to hear other people's views on this. Regards.

    Thanks Sister Samia. As you know that this question of what is truth? It remains a difficult one to answer. People have written books on it. However, I was confused until I started to study Arabic. The concepts of classic Arabic language are far more superior than any modern languages. The Arabic word for the concept equal to truth is . The meaning being what ever is in ones heart should be on his/her tongue. This implies, it being an act. An act of syncrony between thoughts and sopken words. An act is lingustically a verb. Hope this helps. Badar

    Grand Qur'an has used the word {2259}, {6205} and {1608} as an animal for travel and carrying loads. This certainly refers to domesticated donkey. But has been used here. If it refers to Wild ass then it is to be taken as Zebra {its original meaning is also wild ass}. Donkey {both domesticated and wild} and Zebra belongs to the same family Equidae but Zebra has peculiar feature of white stripes. Zebras run away from lion but if cornered give a fight back. The difference between the two is that Zebra is not employed for travel and carriage of loads. Therefore and are distinct from each other. As compared to donkey, zebra has less chromosomes; therefore the off spring of their cross is sterile. This word has come once here 3527 Here refers to stripes/streaks of white colour and be taken as wild asses {Zebra}

    Hello and peace, On the day of judgment people will not worry about anyone but themselves. In fact even when I had an emotional breakdown a few years ago I was only concerned/fearful for myself. Friends and family became insignificant(even my twin who has been my friend since my birth did not matter to me). Thats just the reality of what happens when you fear for your soul. The hereafter is just so much more important. Another example of how something can become insignificant is high school. I remember in high school every exam was important, your friends were as well. Yet looking back I barely talk to the people I used to know, the problems of high school also seem insignificant when compared to my current situation. 8033 So when the screaming shout comes. 8034 The Day when a person will run from his brother. 8035 And his mother and father. 8036 And his mate and children. 8037 For every person on that Day is a matter that concerns him. 8038 Faces on that Day which are openly displayed. 8039 Laughing and seeking good news. 8040 And faces on that Day with dust on them. 8041 Being burdened by remorse. 8042 Those are the rejecters, the wicked. 23101 So when the horn is blown, then there will be no kinship between them on that Day, nor will they ask for one another. 2925 And he said ?You have taken idols besides God in order to preserve some friendship among you in this worldly life. But then, on the Day of Resurrection, you will disown one another, and curse one another. Your destiny is Hell, and you will have no victors. So like you worded it "your human consciousness" will no longer care about the earthly concerns. Peace all Well done; I would like to add the following (&#65279 It is not fitting, for the prophet and those who believe, that they should pray for forgiveness for pagans, even though they be of kin, after it is clear to them that they are companions of the Fire. (9-113) An Example And Noah called upon his Lord and said "O my Lord! surely my son is of my family! and Thy promise is true and Thou art the Justest of Judges!" (45) He said "O Noah! he is not of thy family for his conduct is unrighteous. So ask not of Me that of which thou hast no knowledge! I give thee counsel, lest thou become one of the ignorant!" (46) Noah said "O my Lord! I do seek refuge with Thee from asking Thee for that of which I have no knowledge. And unless Thou forgive me and have Mercy on me, I should indeed be lost!" (11-47) Thus, our love for God should exceed our love to anythig, including our kids. and if we do not, then we are not true believers yet. Peace

    There is "Sa" before it. Why that particle is being considered superfluous? Sanureehim ayatina fee alafaqi wafee anfusihim hatta yatabayyana lahum annahu alhaqqu awalam yakfi birabbika annahu AAala kulli shayin shaheedun ?Sa? is an adverb that is prefixed to the imperfect verb to denote the meaning of future, as the Imperfect Verb consists both of present and future tense. Soof like word Al-qur'an is not one word. It is our lack of understanding with language that we have accepted it as one word. Hence, also try to apply wrong roots as well to justify our ignorance. It is a sentence "The One I established" and again not a proper noun for the Al-Kitab= "The bound book of law". Badar

  • Why Is "Insi" Translated As "Humans"?

    Assalaam Alaikum @Samia Allah,swt did NOT create humans weak again in any sense of the word in Sura Nisa 428. If we consider the previous ayahs, Allah is referring to our psychological 'predisposition' to respond to our 'desires' and the influences of others. (instead of Allah) Allah wishes to make clear to you and to SHOW YOU THE SUNNA OF THOSE BEFORE YOU; and (He wishes to) turn to you (In Mercy). And Allah is All-knowing, All-wise. Yureedu Allahu liyubayyina lakum wayahdiyakum SUNANA allatheena min qablikum wayatooba AAalaykum waAllahu AAaleemun hakeemun Allah will is to Turn to you, but the WISH OF THOSE WHO FOLLOW THEIR LUSTS IS THAT YOU SHOULD TURN AWAY (from Him),- far, far away. WaAllahu yureedu an yatooba AAalaykum wayureedu allatheena yattabiAAoona alshshahawati an tameeloo maylan AAatheeman Khuliqa is also a passive perfect verb which denotes internal (psychological & spiritual) reference. Thus the following meanings would be appropriate and in context with Sura Nisa 428 innate character, inborn disposition, psychological & spiritual pattern Allah,swt gives the Believer a clear understanding of the relevance of the word 'daaeefa' in the 'hadith' of Shu'aib,as. ? They said ?O? Shoaib!? ?Does your salah/Prayer orders you that we give up what our ancestors served or what we do with our wealth as we will. Surely you are tolerant, right-minded person?. Shu'aib's people accepted his advice and warnings and even suggested he was 'tolerant and right-minded man'. In the ayahs to following 11.87, Shu'aib conveys to his people his conviction, compassion and his faith in Allah's guidance. Then.... now they dont understand Shu'aib,as and he is now considered 'weak minded, senseless and ignorant' They said. "O Shu'aib! much of what you say we do not understand! In fact among us we see that you are weak minded / senseless / wainna lanaraka feena daAAeefan! Were it not for thy family, we should certainly have stoned you! for you have among us no great position!" Qaloo ya shuAAaybu ma nafqahu katheeran mimma taqoolu wainna lanaraka feena daAAeefan walawla rahtuka larajamnaka wama anta AAalayna biAAazeezin "And O my people! Do whatever you can. I will do (my part). Soon will you know who it is on whom descends the penalty of ignominy; and who is a liar! and watch you! for I too am watching with you!" Note daAAeefan (feminine, indefinite, tanwin-fatah) means weak, feeble, weak minded, dim-witted, deficient, weak-spirited Hans Wehr Arabic English Dictionary 4th Ed. Page 633 (da?ufa) (See Sura's Nisa 428 & Hud 11.91)

    But Quran tells more than once that the same people who bound themselves to the above "Mesaq", did not follow it and broke away. Who are they in physical terms? @Mazhar..Im sorry, but It apppears that you are still clinging to the Bibilcal interpreation of the 'Children of Israel'.... The 'Yahuud / Jews' NEVER upheld the covenant... All aspects of behavior, disposition and perceptions / al-taAAami were lawful by the Children of Israel, EXCEPT what Israel Made unlawful for itself / ma harrama israeelu AAala nafsihi, BEFORE the Law / al-tawratu was revealed. Say. "Bring you the Law and study it, if you be men of truth." Kullu al-taAAami kana hillan libanee israeela illa ma harrama israeelu AAala nafsihi min qabli an tunazzala al-tawratu qul fatoo bial-tawrati faotlooha in kuntum sadiqeena Those who decided to 're write' or 're create' the covenant, were those who NEVER accepted or obtained the Tawrat....thus they are Yahuud / Jews NOT Bani'Israil Yahuud /Jews created their own prohibitions....Bani'Israil continued to accept and establish the covenants. So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). Behold, he said to his people, "Will you not fear (Allah)? "Will you call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 1Ki 1821 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the LORD Allah, follow him but if BAAL, follow him. And the people answered him not a word. Again, as confirmed by the Quran.......... Those who invoke not, with Allah, any other god, nor slay such life as Allah has made sacred except for just cause, nor commit fornication / wala yaznoona; - and any that does this (not only) meets punishment. The worshippers of false gods say. "If Allah had so willed, we should not have worshipped aught but Him - neither we nor our fathers,- nor should we have prescribed prohibitions other than His / harramna min doonihi ." So did those who went BEFORE them. But what is the mission of Messengers but to preach the Clear Message? Again, this the Yahuud / Jews calling upon their God..Baal....NOT Bani Israil Note al-taAAami means quality of ones character, quality of ones intellect, taste of food one who is uncorrupted in their perception, natural disposition, that which is consumed is agreeable, sustenance and gain is acceptable, sweet, bitter Dictionary of the Holy Quran page 338-339 (ta?ima); Lanes Lexicon Part 5 page 1854 - 1855 Online Single Page #139-140 http//www.studyquran.co.uk/LLhome.htm

    salam muslimthreadrevealed. you claim the word quran does not mean "the book that explains all of the attributes of al kitab" my information is the word quran means recitation, and nothing else. what is your authority for your claim? you claim the word byblos is the name of a phoenician town north of beirut in lebanon, a small port. the bible was compiled under the orders of constantine the great in nicea. why are you claiming the name of a phoenician port is the name of the bible? allah is the truth. Assalaam Alaikum @Araf..Im not sure what you have suggested I have 'claimed'. I have merely posted what the Quran states itself..... And this Al-Quran / The Reading is not that can be produced from other than Allah, but it is a confirmation, that is between his two hands and the explanation / details of Al-kitab / The Book there is no doubt in it from the Lord of the worlds. Wama kana hatha alqur-anu an yuftara min dooni Allahi walakin tasdeeqa allathee bayna yadayhi watafseela alkitabi la rayba feehi min rabbi alAAalameena The Quran 'EXPLAINS' the 'attributes' of The Book / Al Kitab... ? Say. "O People of Guidance! you have no ground to stand upon unless you stand fast by the Law/ ALTTAWRATA, the Gospel/ AL-INJEELA, and ALL the revelation that has come to you from your Lord." It is the revelation that cometh to you from thy Lord, that increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy. But sorrow you not over (these) people without Faith. As you can see Allah is mentioning 'ALL of the Revelation'.....such as Quran, Furqan, Hikmah, Moezen, etc..... Thus as stated in Yunus 10.37, the Quran is the explanation of the attributes of Al Kitab.....
