Peace, Ok so if a punishment in the Torah is difference than the punished in the Quran, Then the jews should follow THEIR punishment rather than ours. Correct? The Jews who have not converted are required to follow the laws in the original Torah (not the blasphemy being sold at bookstores). These laws have been repeated in our Scripture based on God's knowledge that the Jews will mess it up...These laws are more of a 'punishment' for their actions than a regulation for society as done with the final Scripture.

Thanks zenje, Another reason I requested for separate section just dedicated to book review was it will prompt a healthy discussion about the book in review. If possible, author of the book can be invited to participate in the discussion on the thread which is dedicated to his book. for example, I just recently finish reading a book "NO GOD BUT GOD" by Reza Aslan. He is well known young progressive islamic scholar and professor of islamic studies. Also another book I just started reading "Saudi Arabia Exposed" by John Bradly. Both of this book I like to discuss with other people on this forum and get their view and possible some healthy discussion. I guess I could start a separate thread in General Catagory for now. peace sister Marie, I dont think there is a need to change the title of a section, when - 'Circumcision, excision, polygamy...etc' - can safely be put under "today's Islam" along with hijab/headscarf, thus eliminating one unecessary section, imho. Wakas

Thanks brothers Zein and Wakas ) I think a forum of consultation could be a good tool; it will allow to those who wish to ask advice about several issues and projects of our daily life, I know that it is possible to do it in each category but it is better to have a specific topic like for Questions/Comments on the Quran.
