A Question about the prayer

033.056 Lo! Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Prophet. O ye who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation.
Whoever translated this verse is either ignorant in the Arabic language, or Satan incarnate.
The phrase "Salloo Alayhi" does NOT mean to shower him with blessings.
The phrase "Sallimou Tasleeman" does NOT mean salute him.The link you provided to the submission.org website pretty much explains it all. Why do you still have doubts about the meaning of the phrase?
The sectarians think that "Salat ala" is something that is strictly for the Prophet. This is because 99% of them have ZERO idea about what is in the Quran, because they never bother to read it. They follow their mullahs and marja's blindly and leave the Quran sitting on the shelf and gathering dust. And even if they do attempt to read it, they will read it only through sectarian glasses and the lenses of Bukhary or Kafi. Therefore, God has placed a "ghisha" (cover) on their eyes, which prohibits them from understanding His words.
Yosemite, I would like you to take a look at the following verses of the Quran, in which the phrase "Yusalli Alayhi" appears. You will see that it is NOT exclusive to the Prophet, as the hypnotized sectarians so vehemently claim.
I will leave the phrase in red text untranslated, so that you might figure out what it means from the context of the verse
In the above verse, God is telling the Prophet to take ,from the money of the believers, a charity in order to purify them, and also to "salli alayhim".
So here, the role is reversed!! It is the Prophet who must do the "salat" on the faithful !!What does the phrase "Salli alayhim" mean to you??

And We will test you with some fear and hunger, and a shortage in money and lives and fruits. And give good news to those who are patient.
The ones who, when afflicted with adversity, they say "We are to God and to Him we will return."
On those there will be a "salat" from their Lord and a mercy, for they are the guided ones.In the above three verses, God is telling us that those who are patient in the face of tragedies or hardships will have "Salat" upon them from their Lord.
Does this mean that God will pray to them??

Here, it is also God who is "Yusalli" on the faithful.
From all of the above verses, we can conlude the following two things
1- That "Salat" upon someone is NOT restricted only to the Prophet.
2- That the word does not mean "prayer" or "blessings", because
a) It is unlikely that God will "pray" on or for His faithful servants
b) The "salat" of God upon His servants leads them from darkness to
light (as per 3343). This is accomplished by certain ACTIONS, and
not mere empty words of prayer or blessings.The typical sectarian muslims will not understand these truths, because they have been blinded by their mullahs and cannot even approach the Quran except through the intercession of those mullahs (for fear of burning in Hell for all eternity).
It has been established that the word "salat" is derived from the root
which means "connection" or "contact". It does NOT mean empty rituals or words of blessings.What about the phrase "Sallimou Tasleeman" ??
The sectarian (suunis and shia) , who have deserted the Quran for 15 centuries, think that it means "salute him". So they keep on reiterating "Salam alayka ya rasoulallah!!" (Peace be upon you, O Prophet!!). What's even more ridiculous, is that they will call to God and say "Allahoumma salli was sallem alayhi" (They are asking God to give peace and blessings to the Prophet).
The word "tasleeman" also appears in two other verses of the Quran. Again, I will leave it untranslated
Does the phrase "sallimou tasleeman" mean "greeting/salutation"??
Or does it mean "submit / yield fully" ??
Try subsituting both , and you will see which one fits in the context.
The correct translation for 3356 would be as follows
Furthermore, this verse is addressing those who lived during the time of the Prophet, and cannot be applied today, becasue the Prophet is not alive.
In fact, this is true for ALL verses in the Quran which address the "Prophet".

All these above verses, which mention the Prophet, his wives, his homes, etc... ar circumstantial. They can no longer be applied today, because they deal with the Prophet as a person who lived in a certain age (7th Century), and a certain place (Arabia).
But the stubborn and backward-thinking traditionalists , who have deserted God's book for the Hadiths of Satan, cannot understand this truth.

can you just explain how does one submit and how does one perform salat if not physically?i read the bosnian translation of the qur'an because, well, i understand the language better, although it might be a little mistranslated.

Salaat is not to be "performed" according to the Quran; it has to be "established" or "upheld" when it says "aqeem us-salaat"...
Also, you submit to commands... by understanding them and putting them into action Through individual and social reform. A ritual as such, holds no meaning in that realm in my opinion.

We see God's glory through manifestations correct? I argue that our actions and their natural consequence is a manifestation of God, i.e. the system He has created for us. We being ONE (establishing a connection) with this system would make us a sublime example on Earth as those who followed their Lord's command through their "will to tread on the straight path and take reformative action" (aamanuu wa Amil us-SaaliHaat). This in itself is a manifestation of God. That is how you Glorify His Name (Day and Night).Again, the action is for individual and social reform and not a ritual in my opinion...

The probleme is that the majority believes in the scholars and all, like the one in the book i've read that states that it's a must to pray on the prophet, and that they majority of people will say say "dude, you are not a true muslim if you don't do this or that".
