Rashad did not translate ostrich egg.?He made the earth egg-shaped.?
Same thing. did you read the article i linked? Anyway, he's the only one who translated as "egg shaped". all of the rest of the translators translated "spread out" or something similiar. Not one mention of egg shaped except for him. Ibn Kathir makes no mention of efgg shaped either. Here's his tafsir

(Is not the One Who created the heavens and the earth, capable of creating the similar to them. Yes, indeed! He is the Supreme Creator, the All-Knowing.) (3681) Then Allah says,

(He raised its height, and has perfected it.) meaning, He made it a lofty structure, vast in its space, with equal sides, and adorned with stars at night and in the darkness. Then Allah says,

I don't see any egg shaped statements there in the least. Rashad and others like Naik the Fake are just up to their old tricks again.
And he never claimed he is prophet but Messenger of Covenant. .and there is enough evidence for such claim.

If the verse makes the Quran look good, that is the clear verse. If a verse makes it look bad, that is the mysterious verse. Is that how you do it? How can anybody do something so blatantly subjective and self fulfilling as that and still look at themselves in the mirror as reasonable, intelligent people?

If a verse tends towards civil law, as opposed to being a parable, or other way, then it's clear. Clear, is clear, but that is a hard concept to swallow, I know...

Actually, the concept of clear is easy to swallow, but you're written idea about what is clear is hard to follow. But let me see if I can interpret. Do you mean that if a verse is about civil law, then it is a clear verse, and if it is not, then it is a parable, even if it doesn't say it's a parable or suggest that it is figurative by using the words "like" or "as" or "as if"? Hmmmm....can you explain more?

And spread it out matches all of the other verses that speak of this. There are many other verse that speak of this in terms of smoothing out, and flattening out as well as spreading out.

Well, I can show you many respected translators who disagree with you. But let's go with expanded as to me, there really isn't much difference. So how was the earth "expanded"? Was it "enlarged" or something? Did it grow after it was created? How so?
