In other words women dont wanna be treated equal as men. As simple as that. They only want equal or more pay.
lets make something clear men and women are equal only in taqwa each to there beleif and there strength in faith, only one problem very few follow faith.......... very few,
lets put it this way all people with good hearts tend to get stepped on be it women or men and its not till after the fact that we realize that are hearts have to be strengthened, but then you wonder why would i need to stregthen my heart towards my spouse are we not to work as one , one heart one pocket one mind for the sake of our lives and the lives of our children. i beleive there is men out there who are as i put them great men, and to me as a female i worship the word man indirectly in other words i only worship god but the word man has great responsibitly and meaning, he should have the heart of a lion yet kind and loving.......... there is no more of that these days its all about money, we can talk religion all we want but nowadays anyone would be kidding themselves if they said that life is anything then money.........corruption from men...........if there were great men, (that i one day hope to meet in heaven), on this earth i will gladly accept my role as female wife mother and accept whatever comes, but to do all that then get treated miserably by men...............they are diffinetly not worth it....................im sorry im not angry at anyone i just like to also bring reality into the forum and reality is much more uglier then one imagines. as much as we would like to live happy the only happiness that we will get is when we all have faith in god alone, and i truley am thankful that i found this forum, you ppl have no idea.
when i speak of men, i speak in general, but i know there are some good men out there and some are great but agai they are very very few. no matter how bad a woman gets when she has a strong husband he will put her in place in the right way in the respectable way, not to throw her like garbage. he is the man afterall his word should be the last, if he is good to his wife she should accept his word as last as well. -

The truth is that both male and female babies cry when they are born but one baby will eventually face a world which discourages him to cry while the other baby will face a world which encourages her to cry. Now you are getting serious. Wha you say is partially it. Only partially, because you still make the blunder of taking all males as a single piece. They are not a single piece. There are males, men, able to appreciate women for something else than the advantage they entail for them, and who, to protect women or to protect themselves must stand against other men, who ONLY see the advantages they can get from women in exchange for as little or nothing they can get away with. Those former men are not like the latter, not at all. The laws and the customs during centuries and even now support consistently the latter men as the standard of maleness, while they punish the former, because if the standard had been the former men, most probably there would never have been a need to long for a wome's lib, and that is what I mean when I say with womens lib what was done was the wrong way, trying to make women as beastly as men and not men as non beastly as women. It is self evident, that women cannot compete with men when it comes to beastlyness, because physiologically they don't have the means, therefore the bargain for women and for upright men is a loosing one, and therfore will attract larger number of men to the beastly field instead of to the decent field. So it is not a battle of the sexes, but of the predators against the preys and those who really have the balls (men or women) to stand to the predators. And please do not bring the argument that women do the same because they don't, they can't, not in significant numbers. When they can and they do, then it can be brought up. Now it would be a sneaky way of sidestepping issues large enough to include everybody.

As I have said before Allah not favour any of the genders. The only thing is that the genders are different from eachothers and that gives the answer to that the diffrencies attract eachother. God did create us like this for reproductions and for worshipping Him Alone.

I know that most of us are 'free-mind'
However I wanna know to what extent do the men here are 'supposedly' free-mind..esp concerning women.
As we all know,many women are oppressed by traditionalists..and your views to my question can have high impact on how women are regarded nowadays..

I say let our sisters do what they want as long as they do not transgress God's limits for there should be no compromise on this aspect in our lives. if they are believers, they sure know what they are doing; they would know that they will be accountable to God & to their fellow men. besides as believers, satan >D would have no jedi power over them.
what are we to do men? we should be flexible & be helpful around the house & in other aspects of our lives together (as husband & wife and/or as members of a family).
