Ok but the problem is that Jerusalem is not safe. Actually the temple was grounded twice!! So we have to look into anothe place. Mesopotamia maybe?

I too am still researching,but Jerusalem itself seems like the rightest place,all the derivatives of its hebrew name suggests peace and harmony, yerusha shalom "Legacy of Peace"..Besides,God says there will be rejection and injustice

Ok, first the verse doesn't say restricted temple but simply temple. The originial temple was not surrounded by Jews but by Pagans. Second, this verse could be talking what Titus did in 66 CE. Third, the Dome was built by Marwan ibn Malik who was way after the prophet. How did the prophet and his followers did Hajj if there is no House?! But yes you could be right. It could be Jerusalem, but there is no shred of evidence that Solomons temple was there!

re right,the temple in Bani-Israel verse is just a temple.. Well,I see it this way,that temple is Peace..and if Bani Israel continues aggression,they will defeat themselves in a war.. Temples arent physical places all the time,its the focal point of the heart,if we are defined as muslims,its because we are to make peace,with ourselves and with others...

re right,there was no temple from the time it was demolished by Titus until Abd Al MAlik Ibn Marawan built the dome of Rock-God knows better-but o one said anything about kaaba being only the Dome Of Rock,its the whole area of Temple Mount,which Muslims call "Al-Haram Al-Qudsei Al-Sharif" or the noble sanctuary..
It has equal importance for jews and Muslims,as well as Christians..Jewish Midrash holds that it was from here that the world expanded into its present form, and that this was where God gathered the dust he used to create the first man, Adam. The Torah records that it was here that God chose to rest his Divine Presence..In Islam, the site is revered as the location of Islamic prophet Muhammad's journey to Jerusalem and ascent to heaven..
Note The al-Aqsa Mosque was originally a small prayer house built by the Rashidun caliph Umar, but was rebuilt and expanded by the Ummayad caliph Abd al-Malik and finished by his son al-Walid in 705 CE,named Al-Aqsa only then...which makes me believe theres another interpretation for the Israa and Miraj story,that includes no physical places..Anyways,it`s the temple mount where hajj is to take place,descending from the mount of olives..

For me, Hajj is a big feast at God's house where we thanks God for the animals He made for us and feed the needy and the poor.

s another interpretation for the Israa and Miraj story,that includes no physical places..There is no Miraj in the Quran. Remember that the Israa was a NIGHT's journey so it wont last more than 12 hours and we dont know who that servant is. The ?sra' is used for Moses with Bani Israel and it was by night 4423. The word 3abd was used for Mohammed 181,251.
Anyways,it`s the temple mount where hajj is to take place,descending from the mount of olives..

But in the Quran Mohammed is a proper name and never a description. This could mean the one who named the prophet was versed in Hebrew and could very well be from Bani-Israel.

Coupled with the fact that Allat and AlUzza are Nabatean gods and the prophet passed beside the ruins of Lot by day and night. This 'Jerusalem theory' seems to be right.

The most weird thing that the word Masjid is used as a pre-islamic place in the Quran. We can conclude there was another religion that was in place but got distorted and the Quran is correcting it. Is that 'millat Ibraham'. Is that why they seem to know when Ramadan is and when are the Hajj months. Regarding Masjid Al-Aksa, it is impossible to tell where it really is. Heck, some places are mentioned multiple times in the Quran and we cant figure out exactly where it is! But if you take the servant as Moses so the Masjid Al-Haram is in Egypt and Masjid Al-Aksa could be the Sacred valley of Tuwa. Hakuna Matata. D

t read carefully..you say Asracould mean a 12 hours journey at night..Moses was away from his people for complete 40 nights...if he was returning at day he wouldnt have asked Harun to take his place and Bani Israel wouldnt have worshiped that stupid golden calf...Peace..
