Verily those who believe, and those who are Judaised, and the Sabians and the Nazarenes - whosoever believeth in Allah and the Last Day and worketh righteously, no fear shall come on them, nor shall they grieve.
the above verse applies to those who believe in God and in all that has been revealed by Him to his messengers
Jews and Christians have to believe in quran and prophet Mohammad only then they can be considered on right path otherwise they are only in the opposition.
2135 And they say Be Jews or Christians, you will be on the right course. Say Nay! (we follow) the religion of Ibrahim, the Hanif, and he was not one of the polytheists
2136 Say We believe in Allah and (in) that which had been revealed to us, and (in) that which was revealed to Ibrahim and Ismail and Ishaq and Yaqoub and the tribes, and (in) that which was given to Musa and Isa, and (in) that which was given to the prophets from their Lord, we do not make any distinction between any of them, and to Him do we submit.
2137 If then they believe as you believe in Him, they are indeed on the right course, and if they turn back, then they are only in great opposition, so Allah will suffice you against them, and He is the Hearing, the Knowing.
I'm confused. If Jews & Christians believe in Prophet Muhammad (saw) and the Qur'an, then they'd no longer be Jews & Christians, right??!!

???thats why is also included in the verse. God did not give them these names, God said 2135 Say Nay! (we follow) the religion of Ibrahim, the Hanif, and he was not one of the polytheists.

God has given Jews identity of Bani Israel. As for Christians are concerned, it is they who identify themselves as Nisaara. There are believers/Momin amongst Bani Israel/Jews but for identification they retain as being of Bani Israel. Quran has divided humanity into six identified groups in 2217. Hell is however divided into seven parts, each part for one group. One part, the worst one is for the seventh group who have no identity in the world neither here nor there, they are Munafiqeen, RK was one of them.

Your confusion is that you seem to not know what the message is. If you do, it's the same since Abraham, and whoever follows it and lives by it shall have no fear come near them nor will they grieve, no matter who brought it to them -

If you do, it's the same since Abraham, and whoever follows it and lives by it shall have no fear come near them nor will they grieve, no matter who brought it to themNo, I do not believe he brought any different message. The original message remains the same. In time and space what happened was that conjecture fabricators polluted the message and deshaped and invented over a period of time a self made Deen but propagating it to be from Allah. A new Messenger came with the Book, he affirmed and confirmed that which was sent before him and thus segregated the truth from the falsehood and in this way again firmly established the message/Aa'ya'at of Allah. This system kept on and on before Muhammad s.a.s. with Grand Qur'aan was sent. They are current in time and space being the last message, since no one has yet introduced a new Book to public claiming it to be Message/Book of Allah.
The current demand and verdict applicable to people present in this time and space is given
This covers the whole time period of men. Only those who believe this are eligible to join the race for paradise.

My family (especially dad) thinks that I am being 'misled' by Satan the rebel. I have tried to explain my position by using the Quran many times but he fails to understand brickwall. He keeps telling me that the Mullahs on TV know much more than me and that we should follow them blindly. The Saudi petro funded Wahabism is reaching new heights since now they are using the media quite effectively to brainwash the masses to their view of 'Islam'. He has also warned me about not 'misleading' my two sisters. I have not given up though! God Willing we will increase in numbers and in influence and God's promise shall come to pass!

???Even if they believe in Allah as the ONLY ONE Whom allegiance is due, things will change. By printing on currency notes does not mean that they truly believe in Allah.

SaidI've heard that before, that I'm being "misled", or going "down the wrong path". You can only explain to him if he's open to understanding ... my MIL is the same way, think the mullahs/scholars are so wise and we should be following them. She thinks that Bukhari was a great, religious man.
