But to her credit, just two days ago, she told me that I give her good advice. When I asked her how she knew that my advice is good, she said she has faith in me.....Awwww sigh...girls are just sooooo lovely at every age they can show tenderness.

That would actually have been interesting to find out.
Unfortunately, I was too busy feeling good about myself to think of asking her the reasons and now the moment has gone...but if it does happen again, I will be sure to find out )

I believe many traditional Muslims are Muslim simply because they were raised that way. Not that they necessarily research any other religions, or question any of the practices - they just follow blindly.
That is the same in any traditional religion. It is something I have been trying to change for years.

Yes, I have a church here, all the members believe the same as me. We class ourselves as God-alone Christians. Christians because we believe in the message God gave to Jesus, God-alone because we do not worship Jesus or anyone other than God. We do not believe that Jesus was God incarnate or the son of God or anything other than a human being.

No I am the founder of the Christian Church of Reality. There are other churches that believe (roughly) the same thing, but we are all independent of each other unfortunately. We only have a couple of kids that come, most of my members are 30s and up, I suppose after they start thinking.

Yes, did I contend otherwise... ? My posting of that sign was to highlight the logic i.e. 'what if your fathers knew nothing and were not guided'.

The funding is difficult, it is just members donating and me making up the difference.

oh.. sorry to hear, what about applying to the council for support? or other churches? or fundraising events?

Our local city cannot help, not allowed. We do try some fundraising with varying results. Rely mainly on the generosity of some of our members.

Agreed. The question is is this a characteristic of these people, or using this kind of logic makes one a kaafir? And how does one know if their fathers knew nothing or weren't guided? I am suggesting the quran is saying, don't leave it to chance. What do you think?
