No, why I should ? I have born Muslim and I thank God because of that.

Really? I didn't know it was genetic.

      .

One day when we were sitting with the Messenger of God there came unto us a man whose clothes were of exceeding whiteness and whose hair was of exceeding blackness; nor were there any signs of travel upon him, although none of us knew him. He sat down knee unto knee opposite the Prophet, upon whose thighs he placed the palms of his hands saying ?O Muhammad, tell me what is the surrender (islam).? The Messenger answered him saying ?the surrender is to testify that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is God?s Messenger, to perform the prayer, bestow the alms, fast Ramadan and make if though canst, the pilgrimage to the Holy House.? He said ?thou hast spoken truly,? and we were amazed that, having questioned him, he should corroborate him. Then he said ?Tell me what is faith (iman).? He answered ?To believe in God and His Angels and His books and His Messengers and the Last Day, and to believe that no good or evil cometh but by his Providence.? ?Thou hast spoken truly,? he said, and then ?Tell me what is excellence (ihsan).? He answered ?To worship God as if thou sawest him, for if thou seest Him not, yet seeth He thee.? ?Thou hast spoken truly,? he said, and then ?tell me of the Hour.? He answered ?The questioned thereof knoweth no better than the questioner.? He said ?Then tell me of its signs.? He answered ?That the slave-girl shall give birth to her mistress; and that those who were but barefoot naked needy herdsmen shall build buildings ever higher and higher.? Then the stranger went away, and I stayed a while after he had gone; and the Prophet said to me ?O Umar, knowest though the questioner, who was he?? I said ?God and His Messenger know best.? He said ?It was Gabriel. He came unto teach you your religion.?

Some Munafiq seems to have concocted this falsehood who are jealous of the Exalted status and stature of the Messenger who is exclusively the One who has been assigned the duty and responsibility to guide the humanity, not any Angel. Munafiq will render such stories which indirectly downplay the Exalated Position of the Messenger of Allah.

        Salaam,

I love it that to qualify as a Muslim, one has to testify that there is no god but God AND that Muhammad is His messenger. The first part I wholly agree. But I cannot imagine Muhammad would say, "... and Muhammad is His messenger." nor can I image that Muhammad would say the "shalawat Nabi" when he prayed. I also cannot imagine that the prophets before Muhammad would say the second part of shahada (Well obviously). Hmmm, maybe the prophets before Muhammad was born weren't muslims? That is off course, using the criterion the traditional Muslims use .

        Salaam.

We're told that prophet Abraham is muslim (367) - I wonder if he said the second part of the shahada

And we're told that Abraham told his offsprings to embrace Islam all their lives (2132). I wonder if they said the second part of shahada? Or if they performed the "sunnah of Muhammad".

well, the prophet has testified to himself that he is the messenger of God, if you have any problem with that, you're not Muslim and Muslims are away from your evil spirit. Yes the prophet said that he is the messenger of God and he said everything about himself , that's what you can't stand or better your soul can't stand, God has made the name of the prophet side by side to his name, you have a problem with that go do like this brickwall .

we are not talking about before neither about today, the imoprtant thing is that we born Muslim.

Rasul Hamsa don't bother yourself with Mazhar, he can't even understand the verses and they like to decorate it instead of understand it.

by the way he takes the verses from free mind translations which wrong.

this was before the coming of the prophet so they are released from it but what you don't know they were practicing the Sunnah of Abraham which typically the same as Sunnah of the prophet peace be upon him.

Have you received the Grand Qur'aan? If having recived the Qur'aan yet one thinks he is not being admonished by the Messenger through Qur'aan, and does not listen his words then believe me that one is already dead.

And if one thinks that he is neither included amongst "An Naas" nor is he included in "Kum", as stated In Qur'aan, then amongst whom he places himself?

http//andby the way the verses that he gave you are from free-mind translation, which is usually wrong translation.

Match a translation of a single verse so far quoted with the translation of Free Mind, if you are truthful in what you say merely with mouth?

And if you are truly a born Arab, please point out omission in the translation posted of the words of Qur'aan!!!

Have you received the Grand Qur'aan? If having recived the Qur'aan yet one thinks he is not being admonished by the Messenger through Qur'aan, and does not listen his words then believe me that one is already dead.

                                      http//haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/006.%20Al%20Anaam/temp%2002%206.019k.gif
                                      And this Qur'aan has been communicated to me so that I admonish/awaken you the living people with this and to admonish/awaken the one whom this Qur'aan reached". ;

                                      http//haqeeqat.org.pk/English%20Tafsir%20e%20Haqeeqat/00.Arabic%20Text/006.%20Al%20Anaam/006.%20Al%20Anaam%20A.htm

And if one thinks that he is neither included amongst "An Naas" nor is he included in "Kum", as stated In Qur'aan, then amongst whom he places himself?

he is the warner for each and every person among his nation whom quran reached or warner to all over the world and hence the question that did he ever visit e.g india to covey his message in a plain easy to understand local language?

Mazhar, brother, we all know he was sent to naas, people, human beings, but translating that "whole of humanity" is what I'm trying to understand and I'm not sure about your or anyone else's translation.
