33:37 Prophet marrying with his adopted son's wife...

you're still avoiding the answer, how do you that Zaid is a name ? it could be anything else .
the subject can be anything "" or "" or " ' or "" or ......etc
the word Zaid is "" . and also Zaid is "" of the verb "" we say " " .
it could be masdar but how do you know that it is a name ?
Beyond a shadow of doubt it stands proved that you are absolutely NOT an Arab, you seem to be an Indian villager studying in Bukhari ridden religious school. The nominative noun being the subject of a verb relating to divorcee woman can be none except her husband's name. Only a stupid student of the highest order could think that the subject of the verb under discussion could be "" or "".

This man posed he is not Reformer but a different person named Preacher who is following the conversation of Mazhar and Reformer. If it is admitted later on that both are one and the same, nothing can be concluded except "Deceiver and liar simultaneously".
This man deceives everyone not only in this but in a few other things as well

why do you call them Quranists ? they don't know anything about Quran neither in their hands to obey what came in Quran, so Quranists is a good name and you shoudn't give it as a name to the ennemies of Islam.
wasnt it you who started this thread?
http//free-minds.org/forum/index.php?topic=9600242.0you do seem to contradict yourself a LOT

But Mazhar. Is it not you who speaks, reads, writes and studies Urdu in Pakistan?
Now I see why there is so much enemity between you and thereformer1. Indians and Pakistanis hate each other! ;D
Peace
No enmity. I don't hate any Indian, we do not and should not hate persons, their deceptive tactics should be abhored. Allah also says that then his example was like that dog..........So man is not being called dog but his conduc is being equated to a particular dog's habit. Whether you put weight on him or off load the weight he lolls out his tongue.

So I take it that there is still a chance for you and thereformer1 to play on the same cricket team?
Perhaps not since he has self assumed the responsibility of issuing tickets, and he leaves the chance of return since he is issuing tickets which can obviously be used for multiple journeys.

No, I'm Arabic, so stop trying assuming that it is a name by your non-specific proof .
prove to me how do you know that Zaid is a name ? ok I'm waiting your answer . there is something in the verse prove that Zaid is a name , but the way that you have said that Zaid is a name is by reading hadith .

Dear thereformer1
It's a joke and a figure of speech.
He said you was Indian, after which I joked about Indians and Pakistanis hating each other etc etc thus the replies on the Forum..
It's a tongue 'n cheek way of saying something along the lines of 'so you have patched up your differences with each other'.
Relax.
Peace

I find it hard to reconcile this verse. I guess it is possible with all Mohammad's wives that due to the time and place polygamy was a good way to protect them. I just struggle, really struggle to find a noble purpose to these marriages.
the purpose is abolished what was known in Jaheleya, the adopted son who divorced his woman, his dad by adoption can marry her because he is not his real son, and she is Halal for him. and also abolished adoption.

Or Mohammad could have said, "There are plenty of fish in the sea." You make it sound like there was a huge problem that needed to be fixed such that decided to add this verse to the revelation. I mean how big a problem was it back then that men were not able to marry their adopted son's wife after divorce?
Also abolished adoption? I didn't know that. Really?

Quran is clear that you can adopt but not change the name of the child. Arab children have a given name then the first name of father, grandfather etc to show lineage. We are discussing Muhammeds adopted son, so adoption in that respect is not abolished but we are told to keep the fathers name and not change the name as would be done in a western adoption.
The verse was given who one can and cannot marry and that included woman who had married your son, so it wouldnt have been clear as you think as the adopted son would be taken as a son although name not changed. The Arabs needed more clarity on this as they were always apt to add and make haram that which is not haram, as they still do today, so the verse cleared this misconception that it was a blood-sons wife and not an adopted sons wife that was haram
IMHO peace

Hey at least you could say the prophet of Islam, because what you stated here is disrespecful. And you have made a statement about the prophet that he could have said "bla bla" .

It was a big problem, because people will disgust him for the reason that she was the wife of his son (which not true, he is his son by adoption). these are their traditions and these traditions were so ridiculous, so we(islam) must abolish it.
this will not serve me in my right path to know how big or why, you have to find more good answers will after all serve you in your path?
Also abolished adoption? I didn't know that. Really?
Yes, you can adopt but you don't gave your family name. and at this time of the existence of the prophet , they were giving their family names to their adopted sons. so God has abolished this kind of adoption. adopt him but don't give him your family name because he is not from your family and he will not inhert unless if there is "".
