What are the arrangements for daily prayers? you all pray together or ahem... rotfl

I understand your problem brother "ahem" Those who cannot walk, talk, eat, grow beard, have sex, brush their teeth, stone people to death, drink came urine, and go to restroom without hadith, may not be able to envision that monotheists can indeed pray alone or together without hadith.

      Peace,
      Edip

So I take it that apart from the congregational prayer on Friday, there is no other prayer which will be observed and that is only for those that actually believe in a prayer in the first place!

And Edip, for someone who (according to Wikipedia) is considered one of the prime figures in the modern Islamic reform and Qur'an alone movements and author of many books on the Qur'an and Islam, I expected a slightly more professional response than the outburst you so eloquently put across to Rasul Hamsa regarding urine drinkers, disabled, non teeth cleaning stone throwing Hadith followers.

On the same token, how does it sound if by using your logic one is to say 'I understand your problem brother. Those who cannot read, write, talk, understand Arabic & Quran, do not believe in prayer, don't know how to pray, do not perform saum, do not believe or perform Hajj, do not pay a fixed amount of Zakat, have sex with women on their menses, eat dogs and cats, have sexual relations with animals, drink alcohol, go to restrooms with anyone at anytime urinating on their clothes while in the process and believe women and men should dress how they like with minimal clothes if they so wish, may not be able to envision that monotheists can indeed pray alone or together reciting anything they want standing on one leg scratching their head with the index finger of one hand whilst digging their nose with the other and with one eye closed passing wind in cognito whilst doing a star jump before going to sujood followed by a head stand to finish off the prayer'.

Not very nice or accurate is it?

        Peace

Dear Zulu, your friend is right. Edip will not respond to your criticism the same way he responded to the mocking one, who was perhaps unable to notice the complexity with my response, which was meant as a medicine for his problem.

As for you Zulu, you have demonstrated a high level of thinking; I respect that and I will resist the temptation to (over)analyze your criticism. So, peace and thanks sun

Why do you imply praying together would be a positive message? Can you provide evidence by way of reasoning or Quranic knowledge?

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

it seems either they are unable to understand quran or The Clear Quran is unable to give them a method of salat/prayer.

3105 Do not be like those who, after they have been given clear revelation, split into factions and fall into disputes a terrible punishment awaits such people!

                            IMO
May be before addressing the big issues and having marvellous objectives they should arrange a conference each year just to ponder over Is SALAT = PRAYER ? hmm Good luck to them.

Unity by itself is not necessarily a positive, as people can unite on many things, good and bad.

Thus, what could 3105 refer to, or what are the guidelines/limits?
Well, let us consider AQ tells us if one group of believers are fighting another group of believers, we should side against those transgressing/aggressors. Note, it still refers to both sides as believers . Further, consider the profound chapter 9 in which believers can live together quite happily with mushrikeen/kafireen. Once these aspects are understood, the question of 'what kind of unity' becomes more clear.

In my view, it is certainly not all praying together the same way.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.
