My journey to a free mind

You said you're following God isn't ? ok let's see how ?
How do you interpret the verses in Quran ?
38/29 - (This is) a Book (the Quran) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its Verses, and that men of understanding may remember
So don't worry about it, reformer. You may find an ayat like 'do good to your parents' as very very difficult to understand, but some of us are perfectly ok with it.

Assalamu aleikum, brother..
Welcome Free minds..
May Allah bless you. -

hahah, I think you didn't read the verse , what a joke . God said " we have sent down (Quran) to you" Quran is an Arabic language. And then God said " They may ponder over its verse" so he is talking to Arabs because the language of Quran is their language .
my question Again >>> how do you translated the verses ?
P.S we don't take wisdom from Ignorance.
-
God said " we have sent down (Quran) to you" Quran is an Arabic language. And then God said " They may ponder over its verse" so he is talking to Arabs because the language of Quran is their language .
So you are suggesting all the verses that ask the believers to reflect on the Qur'an are only speaking to / about Arabs?
That does not make any sense at all. nope
Will they not then ponder on the Qur'an?
482A Book that We have sent down to you, that is blessed, so that they may reflect upon its revelations, and so that those who possess intelligence will take heed.
3829In this, there are sufficient proofs for people who think.
3021We thus explain the revelations for people who reflect.
1024Do they not ponder over the Word (of God) ... ?
2368Say, "I ask you to do one thing Devote yourselves to God, in pairs or as individuals, then reflect. ...
3446Thus clearly do We spell out these messages unto people who think!
1024Had We sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would certainly have seen it falling down, splitting asunder because of the fear of Allah, and We set forth these parables to men that they may reflect.
5921(It is) a Book We have revealed to you abounding in good that they may ponder over its verses, and that those endowed with understanding may be mindful.
3829Why do they not study the Quran carefully? Do they have locks on their hearts?
4724He causes to grow for you thereby herbage, and the olives, and the palm trees, and the grapes, and of all the fruits; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who reflect.
1611And He committed for you the night and the day, and the sun and the moon,
and the stars are committed by His command. In that are signs for a people who comprehend.
1612And what He has created in the earth of varied hues most surely there is a sign in this for a people who are mindful.
1613Tell , then, this story, so that they might take thought."
7176in this, behold, there is a message indeed for people who think!"
1611so that thou might make clear unto mankind all that has ever been thus bestowed upon them, and that they might take thought."
1644In all this, behold, there is a message indeed for people who think!
1669In this, behold, there are messages indeed for people who think!
3942And He has made subservient to you, from Himself, all that is in the heavens and on earth in this, behold, there are messages indeed for people who think!

So you are suggesting all the verses that ask the believers to reflect on the Qur'an are only speaking to / about Arabs?
The Arabs are the persons that should interpret the verses and explain to people, not an english man who converted to Islam and instead of learning the arabic language he began translating and making books about Quran and he doesn't know a word in Arabic.
-
The Arabs are the persons that should interpret the verses and explain to people
No. Every believing, thinking person is asked to reflect on the Qur'an (and the world around us).
The verses above clearly show this. There is nothing in the Qur'an that says only Arabs are allowed to interpret it. Neither does it say that being a native Arab is a precondition for understanding God's message.
-
Leyna, here's another verse to help our Arabocentric friend
41/44 Had We sent this as a Qur'an (in the language) other than Arabic, they would have said "Why are not its verses explained in detail? What! (a Book) not in Arabic and (a Messenger an Arab?" Say "It is a Guide and a Healing to those who believe; and for those who believe not, there is a deafness in their ears, and it is blindness in their (eyes) They are (as it were) being called from a place far distant!"
That's why, despite the fact the Arab sunnis know what 'laa ikaraha fee ad-deen' means, they reject it and call to kill people who leave Islam!
Thereformer probably forgot that TILL TODAY, the Arabs are arguing over what Alif Laam Meem means! They disagree all the time about meaning of words even ROOTS of words. But that's ok, cuz they're Arabs right? Talk about racism
-
No. Every believing, thinking person is asked to reflect on the Qur'an (and the world around us).
Every believing who studied the language and the fiqh of Quran and sunnah , not every nuts including you and your prophet khalifah and your leader of "" .
did you study the language ? did you study Quran (the Fiqh of Quran )? did you study the sunnah (the fiqh of sunnah)? I don't think so >>> your teacher is the Satan.
-
Reformer, can you please tell us from ur 'fiqh al-quran' how many ayat are MANSUKH? I didn't think so, lol.
Perhaps you should it call 'ghair fiqh al-quran'?
-

"The difference is a virtue" I think you didn't learn this in school . And why arabs disagree because everyone of Arabs has its own language , there are seven way and letters(not letters literally)of Arabic language in reading it and interpret the word, you don't know these things, try to keep your fingers in your nose instead of the keyboard.
-

Until you understand the word Mansukh, you'll find the answer yourself . hmm

No wonder the Arabs have made such a mess of it then, they cant even understand their own language never mind interpret what God meant by His words without hadith to follow so they can understand it WRONGLY
You deny every verse thats put to you yet you have not managed to say WHY
-
Virtue? So for YOU GUYS its a virtue but when we disagree, its from shaitan?
Your differences show that you guys don't own a single truth. We don't either but it's ok, we don't claim to be God's chosen race. Sorry mate, you go find out a mutawatir meaning for Alif laam meem and i'll become a sunni.
-
Every believing who studied the language and the fiqh of Quran and sunnah
No, the verses are clear. That is not what they say. If you believe those verses are lying, then please post one that says "in order to reflect on the Qur'an you have to be an Arab, and you must have studied language, fiqh and sunnah first."
-

I think he will only find that IN hadith rotfl
-
Reformer, why are you hiding from the mansukh question? Mansukh simply means abrogated. There are 3 kinds of mansukh
-
When the ayah AND the hukm are completely forgotten
-
When the ayah is forgotten but the hukm remains (like the bogus ayat ar-rajm which a GOAT ate from under the Prophet's bed)
-
When the ayah remains but the hukm is forgotten (like 'laa ikraha fee ad-deen' which you guys cancel out with ayat as-saif)
The truth is, there is NO agreement on the mansukh ayat. Some say 5, others say 255. You guys have played with the Quran and made it like a copy-paste book. Congratulations!

From the FIRST sentence this is already WRONG. As-sunnah is the second source of islamic legislation after the book of Allah, Reformer pastes. Quran says
Say "Shall I seek for judge other than Allah? - when He it is Who hath sent unto you the Book, explained in detail."...6/114
So effecitvely, if you take another source as divine, you are taking ANOTHER judge besides Allah.
Reformer, quran answers you too well, you may as well give up.
