    peace all,

The top 5 misconceptions are usually

    /muhammad-married-young-girl.htm
    /cut-off-hands-theft.htm
    /death-for-apostasy.htm
    /stoning-to-death-adultery.htm
    /alcohol-is-forbidden.htm

The site gets about 9000 page views per month.

It could be a lot more if promoted. Click here to find out how.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.

Perhaps this has had a role to play in increasing forum members. I myself have recommended this site many times in web debates etc. It is excellent.

                peace all,

                Can you help with this?

Calling all budding writers and graphics designers out there.

The website Misconceptions-About-Islam.com is looking to add printable leaflets for each of its Misconceptions, so visitors can print them out and spread the word in their local communities if they wish to.

They will simply be condensed versions of each Misconception text, with some nice/simple colours, borders, pics, etc. Likely A5 in size. You can design it how you want, and the best ones will be made available on the site.

The site currently generates over 13 000 page views per month.

                  Salaam brother Wakas,

I humbly suggest you to add Arabic text to misconceptions-about-islam.com where ever the aayaats are quoted as it is really important as per my understanding.

AlQuraan is sent in Arabic language, so when we are quoting it, the original text must be added with the translation.

                            peace all,

I would like to compile a list of common misconceptions about Islam, that can be easily corrected using The Quran.

If you know of examples or articles discussing this, please state them here so I can review them.

The content will be released for all to use once done.

                            Thanks.

And where can I find the #1 common misconception about islam?

                                        Salaam Wakas,

I stumble upon this sentence In that case, the rejectors would have had reason to harbor doubts from QS 2948.

                                        a. I understand that prophet can read and write prior first inspiration and he is gentile but what is the connection with rejectors? I mean if you're a rejector then whatever condition of prophet, you are still reject whatever prophet give to you.
                                        b. Who is the rejector? What is exactly what they do? What is their reason to reject?
                                        c. Why the rejectors have had reason to harbor doubts?

                                          w/salaam imfromjakarta,

                                          Sorry, didn't see your post.

2948 And not did you recite from before it from/any (the) writ/book, and nor did you write it with your hand. In that case, the falsifiers would have doubted.

Interestingly, I found that most translations of this verse may be incorrect/misleading. See corpus for word by word.

I have not studied it, but seems to imply If the messenger did recite a prior book/writ or write it with his hand, then the opponents/falsifiers would have reason to doubt, i.e. he's did this before, hence the doubt about what he's reciting/writing now.

I would be interested to know if the "min" in "min kitabin" can mean "any book" or "from (the) book", or both.

All information is correct to the best of my knowledge only and thus should not be taken as a fact. One should always seek knowledge and verify for themselves when possible: 17:36, 20:114, 35:28, 49:6, 58:11.
