Time To Change Your Paradigm

Good for you, naruto.
No!
Iblys was a malak,
it existed long before Adem ...Now, it's the root of all evil.
Zzzz
Iblis was a malak who was of the jinn meaning a hidden malak or what?
I guess now might be a nice time, if you feel up to it, to lay it all out, maybe your whole theology and everything so that we might correct ourselves thereby.
For mainstream Muslims, jinns are a creature that aren't angels or humans, though most of them don't really know what they are and might imagine silly things too.
-
You're confounding with
because you rely on Sunni translations ...LOL!
is the plural of
Ibliss was not a Malak he was a Jinn in the Garden, close to God, until God decided to create Adam, then all hell broke loose (excuse the pun), and so all of Ibliss, Adam and Eve got cast out of the Garden.
Malak, singular for Malaika, is translated using Biblical terminology as Angels, Malaika are controllers (free-minds ijtihad).

Dude, learn Arabic, don't rely on Farsi or Urdu, or whatever.
Plural of is
= a people (indefinite)
= the people (definite)This is a plurale tantum (Arabic ع.
Ie., it has no sing. form! That said,
denotes the corporeal.
denotes the incorporeal.Arabic does not obey same rules for plural names, as in other languages.
Believe me,
you have no f. idea what you're talking about!I suggest you go back and graduate kindergarten.

OK, my Arabic is very rusty, and I didn't learn it the normal way through school, still learnt it from infancy as first language.
Jinns exist and are not Humans and that's all I have to say...
I have no time for your word games MoF and hicham9.

Some people have already failed the test it appears, or have a long way of coming along. Problem is people do not understand that the behavioral part is way more important than what exact details one believes in as long as the concept is right.
Be well

Didn't they tell you, MoF, when in a hole, stop digging
Peace
-
Nabster,
Not when I have started digging for a treasure down there which for sure is there. It would be wasted energy would it not? -)
Besides, I pointed at the appalling mannerism here and not what people say about something else.
Be well

Peace all,
"ins" comes from the root/verb "anessa" which translates as "be friendly , be sociable".
"jinn" comes from the root/verb "janna" which translates as "envelop , enshroud , cover , curtain , cloak , conceal , blind , cache , screen , hide".
A hint to relate this to the reality, is to make the connection that people can be described as either "introvert" or "extrovert", it is not to belittle any of the 2 categories, both have good and bad qualities.
Just think that "most of the generosity and naivity" come from the "extroverts", and "most of the creativity and scheming" come from the "introverts".
Also, before the existance of language, all the people "bashar" were "introverts" or "jinn" due to non-existing forms of communication.

So the introverts were created from smokeless fire and fire intensely hot before the extroverts, and the introvert Iblees made bold and haughty arrogant claims as compared to the extrovert Adam who was after him?
Iblees announced that introverts are made of fire, while extroverts are made of mud!
Am I getting it right? Help me out.

jinn, means "covered" in that sense, it does not have to have the meaning of any particular being, it may apply to any being or thing provided it is covered.
Now a particular being the essence or foundation of which would be to be covered would be something else. May be in the Qur'an there are both. There may be people who afre jinn in th sense that for certain purposes they are covered ones, and then for other purposes they are not. And thtne those that their nature is to be covered.
Salaam

And whoever is covered is made before humankind and out of fire?

Whoever is covered is covered, full stop.
There are covered that may be uncevered and may be there are covered that cannot be uncovered. May be when talking about jinn as opposed to something else it means covered as ooposed to things or beings that are uncovered both by their nature. May be.

So much confusion, when the Quran makes it so simple, why go and do linguistics and semantics acrobatics when someone tells you that warm water is wet and warm air is dry?
My genuine native understanding of Arabic makes me read the Quran that Jinns and Inns are beings, and I know for sure I am an Inns, and a sentient being.
It tells me about Jinns who are different from me, because I was made from mud/clay, and they were made from smokeless fire, different elemental substances, so different beings, simple, stop complicating, because you are in danger of mocking Allah's Signs.
PS. for those who like to play with words, some scholars/clerics think that Inns also refers to the derivative nasee, forget, which is that Inns have a propensity for forgetfulness taken as a blessing, you can play your acrobatics on this too )
-
Salaam,
If Jinns and Inns are not separate beings, why are they time and time again mentioned as created separate and of different substance?
For those re-inventing and assigning their own meanings to the Quran's language, nevermind <-- These aren't the first linguistic acrobatics, nor will they be the last. Those who don't believe that Jinns are separate beings, their opinion is their own of course.
-

The Quranic vb. lq doesn't mean to create.
& like the Maj., you mistake l-Gn (ن for l-Gin (ن,
and l-Insn (ن for l-Ins (س! ~ How heedful of you! Those who don't believe that Jinns are separate beings, their opinion is their own of course.
Of course!
On the other hand, those who affix genies to the Quran, their inherited opinion is not even their own.

Peace Bro
People love to cling to their misconceptions like a leech to its feeder, only a shock to their system will sever the bond, so only Allah will as He rightly oft repeats and says, you do not guide those you love, only Allah guides those He wills.
